These doughnuts are the Real Deal! The Counter Culture coffee is always tasty too! My family and I love to treat ourselves to One Doughnut each and a coffee or dreamy Hot Chocolate! Never disappoints!

First, I have to admit I’ve only been here a handful of times. I absolutely love the taste, quality, and selection of donuts. The prices seem high to me, however if you are having one with coffee it’s not ridiculous. If you mix and match a dozen you’re going to pay way too much. Other reviewers have said the same. I still think this shop is far superior to DD, but for me its a splurge.

I love their selection, and their ever changing menu. They are creative, but you better get there early, because they will run out. You see a featured item… get it! They are the perfect local business, and it’s a nice place to get doughnuts! Some of the clientele are snooty, so if you’re not into that scene, better take it to go. I also love their coffee and tea selection. If you’re looking for something a little indulgent, a little different, go here!

Yummy donuts and good service. I don’t really have any complaints and they exceeded Sublime Donuts(supposedly the best) in my opinion. The latte I had was also tasty — not too syrupy sweet, not bitter.

Found out about this place while watching renovation realities on DIY network. Been looking for a good donut place around town tried a few wasn’t very impressed. I was highly impressed with Dutch Monkey. I got the Chocolate glaze chocolate filled donut and it was pretty good. Will be going back to this place often.

I love DMD! I sampled 8 flavors on my first visit and it was great! I enjoyed it all and my sister loves it too! She told me that it was one of her preggy-cravings! And the doughnuts are fresh and delish!

I stopped here before work one day and I have my coworkers hooked. It can get a little bit pricey if your buying donuts for a crowd but if you just want a great donut that will fill you up until lunch and a variety to chose from this is the perfect spot.

Incredible doughnuts! An attorney in my office brought them in and we all had foodgasms! They were amazing! So much better than what you get from Krispy Crème or Dunkin. I would highly recommend them! I especially loved the Lemon Bismark! The lemon custard inside is delectable. Also, the bacon maple is hard to resist!

If you’re down for crazy donuts and daily surprises, this is your place! I love Dutch Monkey Donuts. They never seem to run out of ideas for your donut fix. I am the kind of person who loves to try new things and crazy combinations with my food. I don’t tend to ever eat anything ‘plain’. Dutch Monkey always switches up their menu daily, while still maintaining a few of their core choices. They post what their specials are every morning on their Facebook page( ). It is always so fun for me to wake up in the morning and get excited to check out what they have made for the day. Sometimes, it’s even better to go in the store, without checking their specials first, to be surprised that way! They make their donuts from scratch every morning and you can really tell that they are made with all natural ingredients. The flavor stands out with every one of their donuts and they are very high quality. They also have Counter Culture coffee(my FAVE), and you can get a variety of different coffee/espresso drinks. The only downfall is that they are a little pricier than Dunkin’ Donuts, which is seconds away, but the increase in price is worth it for the quality! Check this place out! You won’t be disappointed.

These donuts were delicious. Such a creative take on pastry. We tried 6 different types and we loved the lemon meringue donut the most. It was so good. We also loved the maple bacon donut. The salted Carmel donut was great. The apple fritter was very yummy. We tried another maple donut along with a Nutella twist. All were wonderful!

We came to Dutch monkey on the recommendation of a friend. They take donuts to a whole ‘nother level. There are spicy donuts with bacon on top, donuts with bananas on top, maple donuts, lime filled donuts, a whole bunch of donuts. There’s also a selection of coffees, teas, lattes and cappuccinos. I was not as impressed as my partner in crime was. Much like a lot of the places in this area, they try hard to be different and gourmet. This means putting pepper on top of the strawberry doughnut or putting bacon on top of the chocolate doughnut. Even the lemon filling is not lemon filling, it’s a super bitter lemon pudding. It’s all really pretty and I’m sure it would be impressive for a meeting or get together, but if you just actually wanted to go and eat some donuts maybe not so much. Everything is drenched in sugar and super sweet. Donut texture is not a selling point, they are kind of hard and chewy. Presentation wins over taste. Customer service is great, very friendly folks here. We spent $ 24 on 6 donuts, a Coke and a coffee…

We decided to stop here and grab a couple donuts. I heard some good things about this place so we thought we would give it a try! The place The place is small but very well kept. They have some nice tables if you want to hangout and socialize. The food I will say I wasn’t that impressed maybe because all of the hype from people. I tried at a dozen different donuts and the only two were ones I would go back for. The Nutella Twist was had good flavor and was something that unique you couldn’t get most places. However the rest to me weren’t any better than the donuts I get anywhere else. I will say I since I only tried a 10 – 12 of the many flavors I am going to give it 3 stars. The verdict I paid 30.45 for a dozen donuts so they are nut cheap. I really need to back and try a few more to make sure. However as of now I would say the value isnt there from most the donuts I tried.

I think this place is ok. I feel that most of their donuts are well made and they do have some interesting choices. The prices are crazy high, and this place has a semi hipster vibe which is either your thing or it’s completely annoying. If I went back I would get the Boston custard. Customer service was spotty

Dutch monkey doughnuts is a cute establishment of Peachtree Parkway in Cumming. It is owned by a couple of culinary graduates, Who worked in restaurants and decided to open a doughnut shop offering the best donuts out there. The donuts are handmade every morning, so they are super fresh. Walking up, I noticed a small area to sit outside and eat when the weather is nice. Walking inside, the place is always packed. They offer many varieties, and a lot of them are very creative. We have tried the butter cream stick, Boston cream, the chocolate glazed, the glazed doughnut holes, red velvet, cinnamon sugar, and s’mores. Personal preference, but I did not care for the Smore’s. The Boston cream is good but the cream is more custardy and thick then I typically like. The glazed holes are good, but typical. All the donuts taste very fresh, and I love that about them. My friend turned me onto them several months ago and I wish I could remember what doughnuts she had ordered because they were all so so good. Accompaniments to the doughnuts include coffee, espresso, tea, milk, and juices. We are always on the go when we drop by here, but one day I would like to sit back with the family and relax and eat some more doughnuts!

This place is one of a kind with fresh made doughnuts each day and with specials each day that change. These are very high quality items and make sure to get there early on weekends to be able to get what you want. Since they don’t have all those preservatives they aren’t something that will last for days so be sure to eat them quickly. During holidays they offer pans of items you can preorder so make sure to take advantage of that.

I was in the area the other day so decided to stop by this place since I’ve been craving gourmet doughnuts. I came around noon and there was a good selection of sweets to choose from. I wanted to try everything but decided to not be too gluttonous and only stuck with a few things. I tried the fresh strawberry bar, a bar that had chocolate and bacon on top, a lemon meringue doughnut, a ginger peach jelly filled doughnut, a cinnamon apple fritter, two plain doughnuts(one yeast and one cake version), and doughnut holes. I still went a little overboard but I don’t live in the area so I felt that I got a good variety of things. Everything came out to be about $ 20. I found everything to be just ok. The strawberry bar and lemon meringue were my favorite out of the bunch but they aren’t good enough for me to drive all the way back here.

Doughnuts are some of man’s best creations. How can I resist the temptation of doughnuts?! I stopped in early Saturday morning for a quick pick me up before a baby shower. I’m not usually in Cumming so I intended to take full advantage of the situation. As fate would have it, this doughnut shop was right on the path to the shower. So I had no excuse to avoid Dutch Monkey. Parking was easy, although I could see parking filling up quite easily. I scored a spot right in front. It was pretty busy inside, with a winding line to order donuts and caffeine. It seemed like a pretty quick wait, though, since I was busy being indecisive. I settled on the chocolate sour cream with chocolate icing and a nonfat latte. Seating is pretty limited, especially when it’s busy. I noticed a man telling his breakfast companion, «so many people now, I hate it.» I’m guessing once the shopping center across the street opened up, more people noticed the Dutch Monkey. I wish I didn’t live 20 miles away, otherwise I would be here every weekend.
