Took my KTM500EXC up to RGR for a valve adjustment. Originally I was nervous buying this bike b/c the service is so frequent. Lots of oil changes and adjustments for this beast. BUT…these guys made it easy. Jason in service hooked me up, the bike now runs better and the price was great. Feel better about the bike having these guys nearby. Don’t go to MMS if you live in ATL, give these guys a shot. I will be back and if I can fool my wife, will be getting a 1290R Superduke from them…

My front tire and rim sat with them for over 24 hours, and still not mounted! I took them to Southern Cycles in Buford, and they had the tire mounted in about 15 minutes and charged me about ½ what RGR Motorports wanted. Here’s a helpful tip. When a customer is standing right in front of you, why not look at them instead of your computer screen? They might just get the impression that they are a priority.

The ONLY good thing about this place is their service dept. Specifically their mechanic Cole. He is a master mechanic and very good with customers. Their«salesman» Brendan is the worst person to deal with. He doesn’t follow through with anything he says he’ll do. I bought a Cross Country from them and bought a 21″ wheel kit and mini ape handle bars. Because Brendan does absolutely no research and has no knowledge about what he sells, I was surprised with an extra $ 1200 part that was needed for the wheel kit, so I refinanced to have the whole kit removed. Then he told me my bars would be in on the 17th of March. The bars aren’t even available to be shipped till after the 27th and he didn’t even care to follow up with me about it. He blamed it on the parts people saying they are responsible for letting me know those things. He said«My job title is sales, not parts and accessories… if you ask me I completed my job by selling you the bike.» Even though he sold me the parts! Horrible service. I highly recommend not seeing Brendan for any reason.

KTM finds a new home in North Atlanta ‘burbs. As most folks that know me can attest, they know that I am a KTM junkie through and through. When our«other» KTM dealer packed it in last year, it was dark times for this orange-addict. Luckily RGR picked up where the other dealer left off, and in prime style. It’s been a slow go for these guys, picking up a huge line like KTM, but with them strategically located, their new orange line should start paying off dividends very soon. So far, I’ve talked to everyone employed here, and it’s like talking to old shop friends, with stories heading off into the sunset. I can see hours being wasted here, along with thousands of my greens turned into oranges reeeeeeeeeal soon. I look forward to doing business with RGR well into the future, and buying more KTM chotchkies. Now if they could only sell KTM bicycles, then we might have a wallet-eating machine upon us :)
