When was the last time you were greeted by the owner? It happened here and it was very nice to meet Bobbie. But the food, nothing special, just a regular breakfast diner.

Hidden gem near our house tucked away by Yamagami’s. We always visit Yamagami’s and wondered about this café. Very good breakfast, not gigantic portions but not small either. Much better than your average Denny’s. Will be visiting more regularly now.

It’s 2:12 pm now and Unilocal says that this place is closed, and, yet, I walked in a few minutes before closure and was able to sit comfortably munching my lunch. 5 stars for flexibility and convenience. The ambiance is 2 stars: pretty simple, faceless, run-of-the-mill coffee shop. I ordered tuna sandwich and it comes with the variety of either salad, soup, or French fries. I went for the soup. Food. My soup was really good, it reminded of Russian borshch. Tuna sandwich was on a smaller side, no tomato, no onion, just lettuce and pickle. I tasted it and … Oops. I forgot to mention, and they didn’t ask, what would I like on my sandwich. I usually opt for no mayo, but this time I consumed two big blobs of this greasy stuff. Two hours later, I am still not over that slimy feeling in my mouth. I still didn’t decide how many stars to give for the food. Oh well, I hope you got the gist anyway. They kept pouring coffee and I liked it. Overall bill $ 10.60 I guess I will be there again since I have some business to do in the area, but now will remember about that mayo.

This place is amazing! The atmosphere is pleasant, it really has that cute little café feel. My boyfriend and I got an omelette breakfast and waffles with hash browns, and both of us were blown away. Everything we ate was delicious, the staff was pleasant, and it was all for a reasonable price! I will most definitely be coming back here again!

A hidden gem tucked near a residential area. For 21 years of my life growing up in Cupertino, I didn’t even know this place existed. Seeing the high reviews on Unilocal and walking distance from my house, I knew I would have to dine it. The ambiance brings you back to the classic diner vibe back in the day. The place was packed and full of different characters — college kids catching up, old people reading the news paper, etc. We were quickly seated and ordered the breakfast burrito and the monster scramble. Thought the portions won’t blow you away, the quality of the food and the price were right on point. Will come back whenever I visit home. Highly recommend.

I am really a fan of Bobbie’s Café now. First of all, they have the best hash brown period! The hash brown tastes more like hash potato chips, crunch and tasty. I have tried the Joe’s Special, a mix of ground beef and veggie egg scramble, as well as the breakfast burrito. Both filled me to the brim for a very hearty breakfast. The taste is also phenomenal as the eggs and meat are seasoned quite well. The price per person is about $ 10 – 11 after tip so very, very reasonable. I highly recommend this place for a great breakfast to start your day! Be warned though that latecomers would have to wait in line for a bit(anytime after 8:45AM).

Not impressed with the service or food. Took the server 4 times of us asking before we got our water and we had to get out of our seats to complain at the counter. Besides the waffle, the rest of the breakfast items — sausages, bacon, eggs, omelettes, toast are all dry or overly salted. When I called in to ask what type of oils they cook with to confirm no food allergies, they refused to answer my question and hung up instead.

I love to come here for my breakfast. The owner is very nice and friendly person. I can’t say any more because food is so delicious and staffs are nice. You should come and try out this place and you will know how good they are.

I wasn’t hungry when I stopped into Bobbies’s Café at 6AM on Tuesday morning. Just wanted a place to grab a cup of Hot Chocolate and maybe a snack. After scrolling through Unilocal! photos, I ended up ordering the Denver Omelete with a side of Hashbrowns and Sourdough toast. Although the Denver was really yummy, the perfectly cooked and crispy hashbrowns stole the show. Can’t wait to try more of the menu!

This place is horrible. The owner is so rude. I ordered something I decided not to eat so I asked them to take it back, and they still made me pay for it… Are they that broke they can’t take back a salad. The food is also less than mediocre.

Get… The… Breakfast burrito! You will not be disappointed! It was so good, especially with the added avocado for $ 1. The burrito contained everything I wanted wrapped up together. It tasted delicious and was HUGE. I almost finished it, but the hashbrowns on the side were so good as well. It was a great deal and such generous portion sizes. I love the old fashioned home feeling of this little restaurant tucked away in Cupertino. So cute!

If you’e thinking of going to Bobbie’s for the first time, think again. Just read some of the less favorable, recent reviews and you’ll know what I experienced. I went there at my client’s suggestion to eat and discuss some important matters. They were ready to clear our plates as we took the last bite of food so that they could turn over the table to the backed up Sunday crowd. About 10 minutes after finishing, the server asked us to leave. A short while later, the manager/owner came to our table, read us the riot act, told us to leave and not come back if we needed somewhere to discuss business matters. This was an absolute first for me. They might consider being acquired by Dick’s Last Resort, the chain whose shtick is to be rude to their customers and serve substandard food. Give it a try for a Sunday brunch treat and let me know your thoughts.

Would I recommend/suggest going again? Probs not. Would I object if a friend wanted to eat here? No. –French toast was good and basic. –Corned beef hash wasn’t memorable, and poached eggs were a little watery. –Don’t get the biscuits and gravy(they tasted weird, not your average biscuits and gravy in a bad way…) Friendly service.

As Cupertino is constantly changing and new chain stores are popping up everywhere, it’s great to see that some things remain unchanged. Bobbi’s has been there for as long as I can remember, and definitely for good reason. Come for a simple and classic American breakfast of pancakes, omelettes, French toast, or whatever else you so happen to be craving; Bobbi’s has it all! I came with my family and decided to order a bunch of stuff to share so that we could try a bit of everything. Here’s a breakdown of our meal: — Eggs Benedict: Probably my favorite out of everything we ordered. An English muffin topped with a thick slice of ham and a poached egg(which wasn’t as runny as I thought it would be) and the perfect hollandaise sauce, which wasn’t too heavy. Hash browns on the side were very good too. — Waffle w/strawberries and whipped cream: My second favorite! A large fluffy waffle topped with sliced strawberries and LOOOTS of whipped cream. Mmmm. — Joe’s Special Scramble: To my surprise, the scramble didn’t have a lot of flavor, but there is a good selection of hot sauce/ketchup/things on the table to dress it up. Served with hash browns and toast. — Jan’s Special: Didn’t get to try this one, as my dad and brother devoured it before I could get to it. Overall, this is a solid place for breakfast. Not the fanciest, but you get that old-school diner feel and a decent good meal. The servers are all very friendly too!

Today we decided to try something new and boy aren’t we glad that we did! This little café reminds of something out of Mayberry or something. If you want the bells and whistles this is not your place. However, if you want speedy, courteous, and GREAT food/service this is your place!!! The Mini stack was tasty and fluffy while the my custom scramble with extra crispy hash browns was to die for. I loved that Ruben didn’t take crispy for burnt and served up these scrumptious golden brown treats. After looking at the receipt I noticed that I was only charged a dollar more for jalapeños, spinach, and mushrooms. That’s crazy cheap and BOMB service from Miriam. In all, they earned a $ 20 tip on a $ 29 meal. Ruben cook — best extra crispy hash browns ever!!! Janet owner — super sweet and nice Miriam waitress — on point with a great smile

Came to sit and eat here during a «work from home» day. Had my laptop open. Ordered breakfast. Coffee was refilled… twice during the time I was there. A little disheartening that they would only give so many refills. Had the eggs benedict. Eggs were perfectly runny. Hash brown was nice and crispy. Came during the weekday morning so didn’t have a problem parking, but yes, it can get crowded here.

Pretty good breakfast place! Hit them up on Saturday morning after checking out their Unilocal reviews. Ordered a custom omelette: onions, spinach, mushrooms, jalapeños, pepperjack cheese, and Chorizo. No bread. And an order of their Sausage gravy and biscuits, plus coffee and water. The omelette was pretty good. It was served with a side of very crispy hash browns, which I did not order. The hash browns were somewhat greasy. I tasted it but left most of it as I am trying to reduce the amount of carbs in my diet. Having said that — I ordered something that did have carbs — the sausage gravy and biscuits. I really wanted a good solid, yummy sausage gravy. This was not it. The gravy has a light sweetness to it — other than seeing some chunks of sausage in the gravy, you did not get a real sense and flavor of sausage. The place was packed and somewhat loud during my visit. The staff was very nice and attentive. Parking can be problematic. The parking lot is tiny and there was a bit of a traffic jam trying to get in and out of the parking lot.

Solid American Breakfast food. It’s a nice little quaint tight space that has that country homey feel. Waitstaff are super friendly and attentive. Parking is difficult to secure at some times. They really only have like 4 – 5 parking spots dedicated to this Café and all the other spots are for the other small businesses in the area. I ordered the #11 Bobbie’s special which comes with 2 eggs, sausage, toast, and hashbrowns. The toast options they offer are rye, wheat, sourdough, and English muffin. As much as I wanted to treat myself on my day off, the sausage was too oily, salty, heavy, and slightly overdone/rough. The hashbrowns weren’t too oily surprisingly, and had a nice crisp to them. My eggs came out a perfect medium. The quantity of food was surprisingly decent. There wasn’t too much, which I prefer, but for the price, it wasn’t really worth it to me.

Some friends and I were in Cupertino on a Saturday morning when we decided that we need to get breakfast! This little gem popped up on Unilocal so we decided to check it out. Firstly, it was actually super surprising that we had to wait in line for half an hour??? Probably because it was a Saturday on Thanksgiving weekend. Anyways, pro tip: the sign up sheet is a clipboard hanging from their now open sign, so don’t miss that! I got the Scotsman’s Breakfast which was two eggs, toast, and bacon. Super cheap – only about $ 7 and the food was just really good. It’s nothing complicated, but it’s just super delicious! The toast was perfectly buttered and scrumptious and eggs and bacon were well done. Service was pretty efficient! tldr; solid, simple diner food at a cheap price – what’s not to like?
