Where do you go when you need something kind of random and there isn’t a general store around? You go to a place like Family Dollar.
I don’t remember why we came here (curiosity?) but it’s pretty much just a little old building filled with random things at very low prices: knick-​knacks, home and garden supplies, craft supplies, cheap food, seasonal, etc. I’ve never to a Family Dollar before, so I didn’t realize it was like a messier version of Walgreens or Dollar Tree. The aisles are crowded, the shelves are overflowing, and the assortment is overwhelming. Yet… you’ll probably find that weird item that you’re looking for. Outside, teenagers are hanging around, skateboarding and kicking at garbage in the parking lot.
Family Dollar is not really my kind of store; however, seeing that this is the only «general store» of its kind aside from Walmart a couple miles away, I have a feeling it won’t be too long until I walk through its doors again.
