3 stars for carne Asada fries. Added pico which was the best pico I’ve ever had. BUT, customer service was HORRIBLE. Lady in the drive thru was extremely rude. :(could barely get another word out of my mouth before she interjected «IS THAT IT??» about five times. Asked to add pico to my fries and she says
«no»
“I’m sorry?”
… No reply for about 30 seconds. Finally.
«IS THAT IT?»…
«I’m sorry, you said no pico?» …
«It’s an extra 85 cents» …
«No problem»
«IS THAT IT?»

The food is terrible. Ordered a simple cheese enchilada and when I got it it was cold and the cheese wasn’t even melted. DONT EAT HERE! It says it is Alberto’s on Unilocal and it actually is Alberta’s. Not what I came for…

Disgusting. Warning: You will regret eating here. Go to nearby Albertacos or Los Alazanes instead.
Came here because it was open and on the way home. First off they charged us wrong and we had to get the price adjusted. Not a great start here.
I ordered the rolled taco plate. My order came out and they gave me a taco plate. The cashier confirmed he typed it in right but the cooks in the back read it wrong. It’s not that hard guys… so I had to wait for them to make the correct order.
The portions are tiny! You pay the same price at Albertacos and the food is a quarter of the amount here. At Albertacos the food actually tastes good. The food here tastes like everything is frozen and premade. My rolled tacos look like the frozen taquitos dinners you buy at the grocery store. I rather eat Taco Bell than this again.
Albertacos is not that far away you’ll thank me for going there instead.

Whoever was helping me out really failed. I order two separate orders of their mini taco specials that’s 4 tacos per order. With a side of red sauce. The guy charged me almost $ 3 so I gave him a $ 5, he didn’t give me any change until I asked for it and he only gave me a total of two tacos… I ordered 8 tacos… you still owe me 6. I don’t understand, he didn’t give me the right amount of tacos, no change and the wrong sauce. Never coming back.

Came here for late night munchies… very very disappointed.
Their Carne asada burrito LITERALLY only consists of the tortilla, meat, and onions.
No cilantro, rice, beans, nothing. It’s basically a giant taco-​burrito.
Very salty and pretty gross.

Would not allow me to use restroom even though I’d purchased a meal and got it «for here». I thought, legally, restaurants have to provide customers a place to wash their hands. They said «not in Cypress».

I guess I should have checked the ratings before eating here.
Everything from the service to the food was pretty terrible. I ordered the carne asada fries. First of all, they have a drive thru and a outdoor seating area. I walked up to the window, the guy opens it and he is wearing a headset. He glares at me and mumbles something. I am under the impression that he is talking to someone in the drive thru over his headset. He repeats «yes?» And I’m like… are you talking to me or the headset. He says «you, what do you want?» Rude!
The whole interaction was pretty much like that. He could have been less interested. I finally got my order and the food was greasy, and my carne asada was about 50% fat. Not a great experience and I will not be back.

Love this place!!! Always get the shrimp burrito but California status. Omg!!! To die for. Sometimes they’ll give me a hard time and say the can’t make it, but they almost always end up changing their minds.
They can be kinda rude at times and the lady that’s here sometimes is definitely rude every time.
But for the most part I give this place a 85% B+
Add a California shrimp burrito to your menu !!! And you’ll get 100%

I ordered the burrito and carne asada combo and was extremely disappointed. The food was really greasy and didn’t taste freshly made what so ever. I ate a few bites and honestly couldn’t eat anymore than that. Normally I’m not that picky, but this had future bathroom trips written all over it. In addition, the lady working the drive thru was extremely rude. She was really short with me and didn’t have good customer service at all. I will definitely not be returning to this restaurant. There are much better fast food Mexican restaurants out there for the same price or even cheaper.

I ordered a California burrito (carne asada and French fries-​basically). I asked if the woman if there was alreadyr ice and beans in this burrito. She said no. I asked if she could put them in there and make it wet. She said yes. I get all the way home and cut into what I thought would be a masterpiece and it turns out there was NO carne asada in my burrito. I am 8 months pregnant and haven’t eaten in six hours! I am pissed but I eat it anyway. :-(

Me: Hi, I’d like a Bacon Breakfast Burrito.
Drive-​Thru Lady: «Is that it?»
Me: Nah, I’d also like two mini tacos Al Pastor and Carne Asa…
Drive-​Thru Lady: «Is that it?»
Me: What? No, I wanted to or…
Drive-​Thru Lady: «Pull up to the window»
Me: Carne Asada fries. Carne Asada Fries, please. I want to add that.
Drive-​Thru Lady: «Ok. Is that it?»
Me: Two medium Horchatas a medium Sprite and extra hot sauce.
Drive-​Thru Lady: «OK. Pull up»
Me: Is that it?!
Drive-​Thru Lady: «Yes, that’s it»
Consistency darn it! This place is the definition of artery clogging efficiency.

It’s whatever, it’s ok if there isn’t a King Taco, Tacos Gavilan, or Don Chente around…

Got my Albertos fix today. The food varies a little from place to place. But one thing remains constant, The Carne Asada Fries rock.
We ordered a carne asada burrito and asada fries and a cuple of sodas. Easy right? WRONG! the bone heads only got 2 out of four correct. And when I returned the bean burrito and the wrong soda the guy says oh yea I got them right here. Well if they knew they screwed up why didn’t they bring me the correct items? I was sitting only 20 feet away.
The food was good but the service at this location SUCKS! 1star service!

I like their bacon egg, and potato breakfast burritos although the last couple of times the egg is brown and over cooked. Not Cool! But hey… it’s fast food. Their carne asada tacos are ok. Hit or miss w/​those. Sometimes they’re cold. They dont put much effort in serving you warm lunch, but their breakfast burritos are always warm. Not a bad place if you’re in a hurry.

I ordered a carne asada burrito, one of my faves to give them a try-​out. Meat was overcooked, dry, chewy and barely warm, almost cold. I was there before 11am and asked if they had a breakfast burrito (none listed on the menu) and the girl at the register gave me an answer that I could not comprehend, so I ordered the steak.
Disappointed to say the least. Cypress needs more good Mexican food. Other Alberto’s I’ve been to have always made me a happy camper. This one had better get their act together or I will be heading up the road to «AlberTacos» at Valley View instead from now on.

I was so excited to find out this place opened and that it’s open 24 hours. However, the staff IS NOT CLEAN and there was HAIR in my food. Not one, not two. it looked like someone had bathed in the guacamole. Completely disgusted me.
