Camden Cypress Creek

I love the staffing and how personally connected they are to the people who stay here!
My lease is almost up… Bitter sweet I’ll be getting a house soon. That’s the sweet leaving these guys that’s the bitter. Big shout out Camden

We have been living at Camden Cypress Creek for over two months now after relocating from New York and we are not impressed. The reasons are as follow:
1. Cockroach problem. We have had to kill about 10 so far and have noticed dead roaches about three times in the filter of our dryer.
2. Noisy neighbor. We rented a first floor apartment because we have young children (3 and 8 years old). We know kids run around and I would hate to disturb others. Problem is our neighbors on the second floor has children who run around nonstop, jump, bang and this occurs all day (early morning and while relaxing at night, including after 10pm). Seems like the parents just don’t care themselves. Carpet doesn’t help When we reported this, no one contacted us. Even when we followed-​up on the issue, we noticed that it was canceled (not by us). Seems like it’s a «just deal with it approach».
3. Parking permits. For most, this wouldn’t be an issue. When we originally moved in, this was not required, but now it is mandatory and failure to place a Camden sticker in our windshield will result in warnings, fines, and ours vehicle being towed. We would prefer not to add another window sticker to our vehicles. One of the cars would have to get a new sticker because we have had to remove the one first provided to us for business reasons. Of course we would prefer not to keep placing stickers to the windshield over and over again. This was not part of our lease agreement.
4. The maintenance guys are great. They address lighting issues, valet waste pickup, and much more in a timely manner. They do a wonderful job.
UPDATE 9÷29÷15 — I placed a service request for pest control treatment and received an email as I am at work notifying me that this has been completed. I find this interesting because my family was at home all day and no one entered our apartment.
5. Management is friendly and they actively organize great events for residents.

Words cannot describe our disappointment in our short 45 day stay, but since that is the only way to describe something… here goes.
My employer used a relocation company and this property was one of the choices. At face value, it appears very nice and up to date. Actually most of the problems are not inside the apartment. The main issue I had with the place is the lack of control of the pets. Disclosure, we are the owners of 2 dogs:
NO ONE at this property was picking up after their dog. There was feces EVERYWHERE. The crazy thing is that the property had dog stations and provided the bags, but no one used them (except us). Ok, I get it. We all have had that occasional instance where we did not pick up after our dog, but this was habitual. If it wasn’t bad enough that there was feces every 5 feet in the common areas, some residents let there dogs use the patio. I am not joking… We were on the second floor and were staring at piles of crap on a deck straight across from us. There were multiple residents doing this.
What I can say is, if you never go outside, leave your apartment, or look out the windows, this place is probably fine for you. If you actually have to go outside and or leave the property, you will likely see dog crap everywhere. So, if you love staring at, stepping in DOG FECES, THIS PLACE IS FOR YOU!

I am in love with the Camden communities. We just came from another Camden and I would recommend any of the communities. I may have just gotten here but I honestly feel at home. The management team is great and is open and it’s nice to go in and be greeted warmly by your name even if you are new. It shows that they care enough to get to know their residents. Everything looks clean and it’s quiet all the time which I love as well.

Great apartment complex! Best pool in town and they have many social gatherings for the residents here. I’m not leaving until I have to!

Lived here briefly…
The layout of the apartment was fine… It was open and didn’t have awkward dimensions… I like having a personal patio… And the kitchen was a nice size… We didn’t have any major issues with the facility itself… Nice pool area and gym with just enough equipment to stay in shape…
I didn’t like the train horn in the middle of the night… Funny thing is I noticed the train tracks but I guess didn’t think about it because the train rarely comes during the day…
Also it seemed as if for some reason certain nights specifically Sundays the parking lot gets really full… If we got home late we’d end up having to park outside the gates. So we decided to pay the extra for a covered reserved parking spot… There are signs everywhere telling you that covered spots are reserved and towing is enforced… We came home one night from work to find our reserved spot was taken and there were no other spots available so we would have to park outside… We called the number to get out spot freed up… The next morning we received a call from someone in the office asking why we got that vehicle towed… That person suggested that we park outside next time and wait until the office opens so they can «handle» the situation… That caught us off guard… If you don’t want people to call the tow yard then take down the signs and don’t threaten… And like I told them if my car had gotten broken into who would handle that situation…
Also there was always dog crap everywhere… Even though the complex has designated areas and ever offers poop bags. Do you know how frustrating it is to step in dog poop when you don’t have a dog? Why take your dog out for a walk if you don’t want to clean up after it?!?
We ended up not renewing for many different reasons… Having a horrible neighbor who complained about every little thing and had annoying dogs who barked all day long… The dog poop… And mainly wanting to be closer to town… We are still with the Camden company just different complex

Camden Cypress Creek is a great place. They always take good care of the residents. I loved and enjoyed living here.

Camden Cypress Creek has been a God send for our family. So close to everything and the customer service in the Office is wonderful! They are always helpful! Even an apartment request is taken care of promptly. They have monthly events such as food trucks and make your own pizza night that has been so enjoyable for our family. I receive pertinent information in my email regarding office closings, special events, as well as weather alerts! The pool is beautiful (I do wish it was heated), and the clubhouse is always well maintained and the fireplaces make it warm and welcoming. We use the office space and quite room for work and we have played pool and shuffleboard which is a nice amenity for the kids!
We are thankful we have found an apartment that fits our needs and has so many advantages!
