I’ve been going to this place for years because of the amazing staff. I always order the same thing. It’s a great lunch sushi place for a great price. It’s a great go-to place nearby. Now if I want specialty rolls, I have a dinner sushi place that I go to near home. Not to take away from this place, but it’s great for on the go sushi. I recommend this place as a great lunch spot.

Ordered: Volcano Roll Sushi Pizza(white) Dragon Roll Sushi Pizza I don’t know if it was the timing when I went or the restaurant in general, but there was not a variety of sushi on the revolving belt, nor a large amount of plates. I ordered the Sushi Pizza because it seemed to be the popular plate on Unilocal.Interesting plate, physically different but not very creative. Pretty much an open face«crunch roll». Service was fairly attentive: I asked for an isolated seat in the back and was accommodated. They checked in various times during my meal, refilled my glass quickly and took my dirty covers within appropriate time. The only glitch in service was having to order a second Sushi Pizza because there was no more on the belt. However, I didn’t get to eat it til late because they lost my second order so they took it off the bill. I appreciated their attempt to placate me.

Ordered: salmon collar, albacore sushi, salmon sushi, spider roll, soft shell crab hand roll, salmon skin hand roll Time: Sunday dinner, 6pm-ish Pros: Great service — very nice, attentive. They offered plain tofu and avocado for my two year old nephew! Great food — albacore was yum, salmon collar was delicious, and I’ll admit that I wanted more of the salmon skin. Cons: I can see how it would be a tight squeeze for bigger parties. We had three adults, two babies, and were lucky to get one of booths(they only have two). Overall: We left feeling very satisfied. Will come again!

Their sushis and rolls are really good. One of the places I go to when I’m craving sushi! Their service is great too. The only thing I don’t like is how cramped and tiny the place is. Overall, I guess it’s a decent place to eat.

I ordered the tonkatsu and they gave me a salted soy sauce and a combination of hoisin sauce. The pork was hard and the salad taste different… not your usual salad dressing. never again… a few people were coming in for the happy hour and according to Unilocal it’s M-F but they are not honoring it and said it’s only M-F…Well according to the manager they already changed it so they are blaming Unilocal..

Came here for dinner on Saturday night after reading all the great reviews on here. There weren’t many people in the restaurant when we arrived around 8pm, which also meant there wasn’t much on the revolving sushi bar to choose from. I had 2 lovely pieces of sushi pizza, one was mild spice, the other was medium, but I really enjoyed them both. The lovely waitress we had came over after we had been there a while and said we could order from the menu, which she kindly provided, and we would be charged the same price. So… we ordered a couple of items from the menu, one being 2 servings of the Deluxe California Roll. When this roll was finally delivered it had a very bad butane gas type smell when we lifted the cover from the plate. Not really thinking all that much about it, my friend and I both popped a piece in our mouth. OMG! It tasted exactly as it smelled, butane gas! Disgusting :( Unfortunately that disgusting taste remained in our mouth for over 5 minutes, even after having a drink to get rid of it. I called the waitress over and told her what had happened. Not sure that she believed what I said, I asked her to smell it, which she did. She said it smelled bad, to which I replied, «Yes it does, and it tastes exactly as it smells». Quite honestly I am not sure how the gas taste got to be «in» the food, my friend saw the chef using the blow torch on the cheese on top of our roll, so I am guessing that there must have been some kind of malfunction with that tool, or misuse in some way. Our waitress said we would not be charged for those 2 plates. She then went over to an older lady, whom I assume was the owner or manager and told her about our spoiled food, to which we were then given evil looks by this older woman. Good lord, it was your chefs error, not any fault of ours. Sadly we left shortly after this, and will not be back. Please BEWARE if you order the Deluxe California Roll,(or anything else the blow torch may be used on), the food could be tainted.

This is my first experience with revolving sushi. So much fun. I had a great time. The sushi was good and cheap, just the way I like it. The staff were friendly and kind. They had absolutely no problem making room for me at the bar, they were extremely accommodating to me and my wheelchair. The sushi pizza was awesome. I kept hoping it would appear on the conveyor belt so I could get another slice. I will definitely be back for happy hour.

Very small place with a rotating sushi conveyor belt. Food was ok but the employees were very nice. Service: 5 stars. The servers were very nice, attentive, and friendly. Food quality: 3 stars. The food was hit or miss for us. I liked the Philadelphia roll and the spicy tuna roll. My husband said the tuna sushi was very fresh. The spicy garlic edamame was really bad — it was just edamame with a bunch of stuff thrown on it. Sushi options: 1 star. Even though you can order anything off the menu, I would have liked more options on the conveyor belt. Overall, if we are in town again, we might consider going back, but we will not make any special trips there.

Food taste met my expectations. The service was top-notch despite the busy lunch crowd. However, value for money wise, the silver plates were $ 3 each — perhaps If I waited til happy hour I’ll give them 4 – 5 stars. Yes, I’m cheap!

Came here on Saturday just after happy hour ended(4:30pm). During our dinner which lasted about 1 hour, we only saw one group eating there(they were there before we got there so they must’ve been getting 30% happy hour discount). It was really quiet. I think it is a minus at a revolving sushi place because old plates are not getting off the conveyor unless we take them. The chef was keep making fresh plates though we were the only ppl eating there though. I am not sure if he replaced old plates with fresh ones. White plates are $ 2.25 and yellow ones are $ 3. Selection was somewhat limited overall. Food(2 stars) Rolls: mediocre at best. just rolls. kind of bland taste. not bad but not that tasty either. just bland. I could tell rice in some rolls kinda hard(dry) and not fresh at all. Had to think twice if I should swallow it or not. Sushi: very limited selection, just salmon and tuna. fish tasted ok but not super fresh or anything. Ramen: ok. ordered pork ramen. was expecting japanese style ramen like at shinsengumi. noodle was definitely instant boxed noodle, soup base was bland. wasn’t anything close to the taste i was expecting. At least, soup was hot. Udon: order tempura udon. Tempura was hot and crispy served on side which was nice. Udon was bland. Tasted like packaged instant udon. Service(5 stars) Waiter was extremely attentive. Really kind and asked us often if we need anything. Overall, our experience at this place was ok. Great service but not so great food. I would try other places next time i crave for sushi.

First time here, and we loved the service and the food. There was no delay on bringing out the food which was very warm and delicious, the employees were very attentive to our needs, I will definitely be returning again with my family. It will be worth the drive from LA, there miso soup was amazing. Thank you Huy N for making us feel welcomed.

First time at a revolving sushi bar, we will definitely be regulars. The sushi was sooooo good, the service was great, and it wasn’t too crowded. Exactly what we want in a revolving sushi bar. We went at about 630, so I definitely wanna go back for the happy hour. It isn’t too expensive as is, our bill came out to be like $ 27, and that was with beers. Definitely recommend this place to everyone!

I came here during my lunch break on Wednesday and today(Friday). I was craving sushi and this is the closest to my work. Service: Wed — it was good but a little slow, two server asked if I need refill on my drink but none came back with it until I wave them down the third time. Friday– only one guy in the front so he was busy. He got my drink and took my order in a timely manner, so no complain there. Food: on Wednesday, I tried their sushi selection which is very limited. I stick to my safe bet which is the crunchy roll, tuna hand roll, tuna and salmon sashimi. Crunchy roll was good, tuna and salmon was okay, not fresh at all. Friday: I tried their beef teriyaki which came with miso, salad, potatoes salad, rice and tempura. Everything was off with this dish. Miso was bland. Salad is salad, nothing special. I didn’t eat the potatoes salad so can’t comment about that. Tempura was off, it was undercook and the sauce was bland. Now the beef… The meat is filet mignon, thinly slice, heavily sauced. Since it thinly sliced, the meat clump together when cooked. I was expecting a thick piece like other authentic Japanese restaurant. I wouldn’t order this dish again. I just wish there other sushi place that nearby my work…

This is not an authentic Japanese restaurant. The sushi is medicore at best. Ate lunch here on a weekday and there were maybe four items on the belt worth trying. I then ordered tempura which was worse than the sushi. Not worth it at any price.

This is my usual revolving sushi spot because it’s close to home. My kids love coming here because it’s such a novelty for them. The service is always excellent, both lunch and dinner. They are never really busy. Not sure if that’s a good or bad thing. The selection is mediocre, but it suffices.

I was craving Japanese so I went here during happy hour and they have sushi plates for $ 2.25. The small plates come with 2 – 4 pieces of sushi. A factory style conveyor belt rotates around the bar where you get to choose from a variety of sushi rolls. I tried the spider roll(its softshell crabmeat not spider lol), spicy tuna roll, California roll, salmon skin roll, avocado roll, and finally a cheese cake for dessert. I must have grabbed about 8 small plates. I paid around $ 20. I also had hot green tea to accompany my lunch. Its a small low key spot but great sushi and friendly service. I will definitely be back.

I came here, but I came during lunch and not during happy hour. I was just really craving sushi one day, so my fiancé and I came on a weekday. All of the rolls seemed lukewarm aka what was supposed to be hot was lukewarm and what was supposed to be cold was lukewarm. It was kind of gross. The salmon sushi was really good though. They used nice big pieces of salmon. Their sushi pizza tasted surprisingly good and it came in a few spicy and non spicy varieties. My favorite dish was probably the stuffed jalapenos which were stuffed with spicy tuna and cream cheese and fried. For lunch on a weekday, there wasn’t much variety. I know you can order from the menu, but that takes a lot longer and doesn’t work for people on time constraints. I doubt I’ll come back here. The food was mediocre, and the atmosphere was practically nonexistent.

Hooray for happy hour! As other people have mentioned, come between 2:30 — 4:30 for 30% off sushi! Not sure if I would come back without the discount. I got the Crunchy roll, Spider Roll, Baked Salmon roll, and Takoyaki. All the rolls are good and are comparable to other revolving sushi places such as Kula or Genki. They tasted fresh and were a decent portion. However, I did not like the takoyaki. It felt very plain(no mayonnaise, flakes, or seaweed on top), and I would much rather go elsewhere. Service here was good and the server that day kept checking up on us to see if we needed anything. However, at one point during the meal, my friend made me laugh hysterically and I couldn’t stop laughing. The server decided that was the perfect moment to come over to refill our waters and to ask if we wanted to split the check… Needless to say, I was pretty useless at that point and my friend had to do all the talking. The server should learn to come at a more convenient time, haha. Other than that, it was a good experience and I would consider coming again.

Okay let’s be clear this is a revolving sushi place and NOT some upscale sushi spot therefore it is only fair to review it in the same categories as Kula, Kaisen and other revolving sushi places, thus the 4 stars. 3.5 solid for food and a .5 star jump for their awesome service!!! Sushi was pretty decent and up to par for a revolving sushi place. Only gripe I had was generally when I order through the server I generally expect my items are made fresh but with some of the fried items I think they made of just pulled from the conveyor belt :(Tbh I definitely understand cause it was slow when we came and it would be a waste to make me a brand new one when there were multiple still on conveyor belt. I’ll forgive that due to not wanting to waste since the item was still good even if it wasn’t hot and crispy as I like my deep fried items to be so that says something! Highlights: Jalepeno Bone, Albaore Sushi, Shrimp Tempura Handroll, & Sushi Pizza! I really appreciated the two servers who helped us today. They were attentive and nice and always made sure our cups were refilled and that we had everything we needed. Granted it was slow but they were never just standing around doing nothing they were always attentive to all the tables and they were very aware of the restaurant and its patron which is a commendable especially during slow periods when it’s easy to just be bored and get distracted by other things. Thank you for the GREATSERVICE Huy & Phong! I’ll definitely be back to try their happy hour since its $ 1 for anything on the conveyor belt!

This is a wonderful place to get reliably delicious sushi and service. They have a good variety of items on the conveyor belt, from Dragon Rolls and Sushi Pizza to Seaweed Salad and even Crème brûlée– all of which are delicious! Even if you’re not in the mood for sushi specifically, this well-decorated little restaurant has got you covered: teriyaki lunch specials and ramen, while not on the conveyor belt, are items you can order from their menu. I have tried their Shio ramen, which tastes fantastic and is given in generous proportions– perfect for sharing! It’s pictured here, along with their thick slices Sashimi and one-of-a-kind Thai Tea. Even better, the staff is quite friendly and polite. They’re attentive, but not overbearing, which I really appreciate. Upon entering I am greeted with a smile, and they never fail to wish me a good day when I leave. For a rotating sushi bar, it has a nice and cozy environment as well, especially if you take a seat at one of their tables rather than directly at the bar. Unlike many places, their TV’s aren’t turned up insanely high and you can have relaxing and enjoyable conversation here. With food and service that is consistently high quality, Fuji Revolving Sushi Bar is a place I highly recommend!
