Lavida Massage of Cypress is the BEST!!! Their staff is so friendly and helpful, their facility is always clean and enviting. I have never had a therapist that I did not like. Whatever pressure you like, let them know and they will set you up. Beatriz is intense if you need a deep tissue massage, you will not be disappointed!

I purchased a groupon my first visit but was so pleased with my experience I came back and signed up for a membership. I experience severe lower back pain and headaches– I’ve only round relief through massage. I’ve seen two different technicians and they both were amazing! I’m looking forward to my monthly massages. After reading some of the reviews it seems like I may have issues if I try to cancel –otherwise, all my visits have been pleasant with the staff and no issues!

I had called ahead to specifically ask if they had the special pregnancy massage tables for a prenatal massage. The receptionist told me they did which is the only reason I scheduled a 90-​min prenatal massage since where I usually go (urban day spa) doesn’t have the tables, and you have lie on your side and switch halfway. When I was led back to the massage room I found that they do not have the pregnancy massage tables! I was immediately disappointed that I would have to lie on my sides anyways which isn’t comfortable for me in the third trimester and takes away from being able to enjoy/​benefit from the massage! Since this was a rare opportunity for me to be able to take time to get a massage and I had a terrible muscle spasm I needed worked on, I went ahead with the massage but I wish I hadn’t! The masseuse was cordial but the massage was mediocre and very overpriced for the quality! I left with minimal benefit and a persistent spasm which is the whole reason I went. I don’t think I’ll be returning again. Save your time and money especially if you’re needing a quality prenatal massage!

I’ve been here twice. First time I booked from a groupon for the price it was ok. My second visit I received a less than average experience. Doors opening and closing.. people TALKING in the hall way. Front desk clerk was a little dry and not to friendly.

I came her for a 90 minute massage today with Amanda and got a decent massage. I would have like more firm pressure but all-​in-​all it was a decent massage.
The blonde girl in the waiting area wasn’t too friendly and didn’t offer me any water or tea upon entering which was a little disappointing. I had to get water from the fountain by the bathroom.
They also only gave me a 75 minute massage instead of the full 90 minutes. I arrived in time but was not ushered into the room right away. The massage time should start from when they start the massage if the customer is on time.

Treated my husband to a masssage for Valentine day.
He walked in as if it was his first day of school. (scared, kicking and screaming) lol
When I picked him up, he was soooo relaxed, he acted as if he couldn’t even open his door.

I have had a head ache for the last 3 days, I was in desperate need of relief, I tried all of the home remedies, all of the over the counter meds and nothing worked. In desperation I called the closest massage place to me and it happened to be La Vida. I was able to get in quickly and was extremely happy that I was given to the healing hands of Jana. My head ache was gone in mins, she knew exactly what to do to relieve all of the built of pressure. THANK YOU so much Jana, I will be seeing you on a regular basis now!

I’ve had a massage one other time in my life, so I am no massage ‘expert’. However, at 9 months pregnant, I am definitely grumpy and sore and was in much need of some relaxation. I swung by LaVida and saw that they offer prenatal massages, so I figured I’d give it a try.
I ended up booking a couples’ massage (hubby is in desperate need of a massage as well… you do know that husbands experience pregnancy pains, too… right? He picked a relaxation massage and I of course booked my prenatal. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable regarding their masseuses and who does the best job with what. Hubby got Jana and I got Deanna.
The facility — spotless, relaxing, and very quiet. Our room was spacious with two beds facing away from each other — mine came with the much loved and at times worshipped body pillow for side laying preggo mommies.
On my part — Deanna is probably the most amazing masseuse in the world. She asked about my pain, pressure points (did I want to start labor now or wait? Sadly, we agreed I needed to wait), and any other special issues. I think she was able to release about 15 knots from this sore mommy’s back. The pressure was perfect and I loved that their oil didn’t make me feel greasy. Hubby said Jana, for such a tiny lady, really had the strength to relieve all of the tension in his back. :)
Definitely can’t wait to come back after baby arrives and I’m beyond sleep deprived!
