Came in with foot and back problems… They teach you exercises and stretching to be proactive about future problems that are currently a concern. I couldn’t roll out of bed without pain. It’s taken a while but my back pain is gone and my foot is starting to finally feel better. It’s not a quick fix — it’s a lifestyle change.

Many people fear chiropractors as they crack bones, and are technically not medical doctors. My medical doctor was never able to cure my constant back problems. I wanted to try something different, so I went to a chiropractor. Now I have have been going to Dr. Yamada for years to cure my back problems. I used to take medication(from general physician) and all that did was mask the pain… never curing the real problem. After a few treatments from Dr. Yamada my back was feeling much better, and I have been going to him ever since. As a plus for me Dr. Yamada plays sports, and has seen the aches and pains associated with sports injuries. You also may think that its just a bunch of old people in the office with pains. There are plenty of young people dealing with injuries as well that he takes care of. I always think what do they need this for? I never went to a doctor when I sprained an ankle or twisted my back !! I just grabbed a coke and a band aid !! I guess things are much different with kids nowadays and keeping fit and healthy at a young age is very important. Even though its hard to see how they get hurt playing PS3 on the couch. Maybe a few of them have«trigger finger» LOL ! Really though I always recommend to skeptics to try other techniques when it comes to bones, vertebra, and soft tissues. I know that chiropractic techniques work, and it works at curing the problem and not just masking the pain. Dr. Yamada is one of the finest in his craft, and as a double bonus he is a certified in DNS(Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization). He uses pressure points as well as exercises to stimulate certain muscles … which in turn helps the body’s muscles stay in balance to relieve pressure and pain.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Yamada’s for around 10 years now ever since I was hurt when my car was rear ended. His practice moved from Cerritos to Cypress just recently so the facilities are brand new. Dr. Yamada is very patient in explaining the treatments and benefits. His staff members are friendly and efficient. Thank you!

I have been a patient of Dr. Yamada for 15 years, first at his former location in Cerritos and now at the new office in Cypress, just up the street from Costco. This office is very convenient to Cypress, Los Alamitos, south Buena Park, and reasonably close to La Palma and Seal Beach. The office specializes in sports medicine and rehab, but if you need regular chiropractic adjustments as I do this is the place to go. Dr. Jon Yamada adjusts very gently, he is not an old school«rack and crack» chiropractor you may have encountered in the past. He’s not only competent, but a nice person. Quality staff, also. I work in a physical job outside, and thanks to Dr. Yamada I will be able to continue my employment disability free for the rest of my career.

Yamada Chiropractic I think has moved to 10601 Walker St. #200, Cypress. This is a clean, state of the art facility with a very friendly, knowledgeable and professional staff. I went in with a severe hamstring injury and Karen is in the process of fixing me right up. Great to be in good hands. Ample parking and easy access!
