Shenanigans Sports Bar & Grill

One of our favorite local hangouts… great wings! Lots of TV’s to keep up with your favorite team and the service is quick and friendly.

I’ve been here in the past and couldn’t remember why I didn’t make this place a regular dining location so I tried it again. The food was below average. I had the pot roast dinner and the pot roast was very dry, even though it had gravy on top. The gravy on my plate was thick and had that layer of gravy skin that looked like «the blob». My daughter had the chicken parm sandwich which was also very stringy, so obviously it wasn’t fresh.
We had to remind the waiter that kids meals came with ice cream. The only good thing about this place is that kids eat free on Wednesdays, but even this I had to mention to the waiter in order to get the discount. I’m sure this is a good place to stop in and get your drink on or play some poker, but its not someplace I’ll return to for food.

This sports bar and grill has a friendly staff and manager/​owner. I stopped here for lunch and received prompt service. I recommend the crab cake appetizer and fish tacos. The portions were generous and both appetizer and entrée were delicious. When I finished my meal the owner came by and asked me how was my meal and was there anything lacking that could be improved upon. That was a nice touch (don’t lose it!).

We love to go here with our kids and extended family. Always nice mellow atmosphere, great service and fast, fresh food. Love the nights when they have live music on the weekends. Great neighborhood sports bar.

Shenanigans is close to our house so we go fairly frequently. Food is decent, drinks are better. The owner came out to greet us our first time in after we told the bartender that we’d just moved to the neighborhood. Very friendly staff with the exception of one manager we’ve encountered.

Cold beer nice service staff, We had over ten in our party. The service was attentive. The food this visit was much better. My burger was just below medium. exactly how I ordered it. The wife’s wings were crispy and dressed medium. The other dishes were perfect in their own way smiles all around. I’ll be back soon to see if they can repeat the performance. One complaint. Great food requires great condiments. Knock off ketchup and mustard for a great burger. Heinz ketchup and French’s yellow mustard the only choice.

I will not return! I was here for the 1^st time Sunday 11÷2÷14 enjoying football all day ordering pitchers of beer and a lot of food. Despite the food and atmosphere being good, and the service (a young Persian girl) excellent, I had a nasty encounter with a blonde girl from behind the bar that I’m assuming was the shift mgr. She was rude and spoke back to me. 2 waitresses witnessed her behavior and appologized on her behalf. Owner and upper mgmt should be concerned w/​her being in charge my humble opinion. feel free to contact me for further info.

A nice little sports bar. The staff is friendly and attentive. A good atmosphere with plenty of TV’s. Overall, I would say that the food is above average for a bar. The wings can be hit or miss and they could use a better selection of drafts, but they do enough right to keep me coming back.

Good food and nice patio. However the service was ok at best. Our bartender left and another server had to step in so we could pay our tab. All in all an ok experience.

I’ve been going to this bar long before it was known as shenanigans. It has been a favorite place of mine and a great place to take people for a guaranteed great night out. But for quite some time now this establishment has been slipping. The food, the drinks, the speed of service, but most importantly the service itself.
Last night my friends and I went to this bar as a last minute decision. We went in and I didn’t recognize the waitress, a very tall blonde woman. And her attitude was poor off the bat. But we were in there for a quick stop and upon cashing out the tab, we asked her to split it three ways which was simple seeing as we only had three rounds, meaning one round per person. She tried to double charge all of us and then when we made her aware her octave level was that just below screaming at us.
Enraged we payed our correct amount and walked out, and this lady had the audacity to run outside and yell at us «y’all ain’t welcome here again ya here.» I just hope that the management looks into this and pays any attention to reviews like this because they have truly lost my patronage which has been loyal for over 6 years. I will make every opportunity to get in touch with management and tell them about this transgression.

Cool atmosphere but disappointing food. I ordered a French dip and was surprised to see what looked like thin-​sliced deli roast beef in the sandwich and my roll seemed «old» kind of flaky and stale-​ish. I probably will try to go back at some time but I will need for this poor experience to wear off a bit. :-(

I went back after a bad experience some ten months back with the family and have this report. The staff was friendly, we had wings and chicken sandwich, the wings were very good, mine were hot, good spice. Not mean or without balance. Cooked perfectly buffalo style. The wife had lemon pepper. And were good too. Fry’s were crisp /​fresh. All in all a nice visit. Now they are back on the list, also the manager stopped in on us twice to see how things were. Nice touch. I am looking forward to returning for a burger. Now if they can only make one MEDIUM or med rare they will have my eternal blessing,

Went in on early on a Saturday evening and was pretty impressed with the look of the place and all the tvs. There’s a nice looking patio outside, so even though it was too cold to sit out there, I was feeling hopeful.
I’m going to assume our waitress was new as service was a little slow, and she seemed a little confused when asked a few questions (like, can I make the side of fries that come with my fish tacos crab/​old bay fries? That one really threw her. The answer was eventually yes, and when food came out I still had to ask for the cheese dip that comes with the crab fries.)
Food was ok, but everything was a little over seasoned/​salty. Crab fries had A LOT of Old Bay, DH got the French Dip sandwich, and he mentioned the au jus was waaaaaaay salty. And he’s not a picky guy, so to mention that, it had to be pretty bad.
So it looks like our quest to find a decent bar near home continues…

We have only been there for the wings but they were really good and a decent size too. My favorite were the teriyaki sriracha flavor. Yum! Also the blue cheese dressing was homemade and excellent.

Every time we come here the food is always good and we never really had bad service but I’m not expecting 5 star dining going to any sports bar. Best burgers in the area and onion rings are amazing! Would’ve given 3 stars because my fries were cold but they redeemed themselves by bringing fresh fries and more of them. Thank you for the great time!!!

Went there one Sunday night with friends. I ordered my usual Pinot Grigio, the server said they were out & offered me Moscato instead, I said no thanks, I don’t like sweet wines. She then proceeded to tell me that Pinot is a very sweet wine & even brought another server over to agree with her. At this point, I decided you can’t fix stupid & ordered a Captain & Coke!

This is a solid sports bar. I don’t get the negative reviews on the food. I only have been here once, but we ordered a bunch of different type of items and all were at least good if not a little better. It’s not going to totally blow your mind away, but there also isn’t a lot in the area to compete with.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The building was recently built and looks great.
Patio looked fun when the weather warms up.
I declare shenanigans on the bad food reviews! I also don’t claim it is the best food you will ever have, but it’s a sports bar!

Came in to watch a game one night, had never been there and was looking for a good local spot.
The inside had a nice build out and quite a few tv’s. We bellied up to the bar and that’s where the mistake started! The «bartender,» I use that term loosely, was loud, rude and slow. Kelly was her name and she was too worried about yelling at customers coming in the door before jogging over to them and ignoring the bar guests. She yelled at a customer and threw the credit card over the bar at them and then stomped off. took forever to get a beer. We had to ask multiple times for a menu, and our cold queso took 15 minutes to get. Velveeta doesn’t even take that long to melt. The only positive aspect of the night was crispy hot (temperature) wings. Get rid of kelly and you might have better luck. Next time… if there is one, I will have to make sure and request someone who cares!

As far as a local watering hole, this is my favorite pick. The staff know you by name and treats everyone well. They always have a celebration and great deals around holidays. They also have good musicians on the weekends and poker for cheap entertainment. The food is surprisingly awesome for bar food. The burgers, wraps and wings are really good :)

Tried it twice, disappointed both times. I ordered things that should have been spicy, and they were very plain. My wife also felt let down. Shame, it’s such a nice building in a great location.
We’ll go to friends.
