Have just moved to Dallas and was needing a place for haircuts as I am a little picky about how my hair is cut. Went here after reading the 2 reviews and the fact that it was the closest place from my apartment. It was a little tricky to find as it is inside the salons of Dallas and I think it’s suite 400 something. Even though the place is by appointment only Angela was able to take me in as she had a cancelation. She did a great job and used scissors to cut my hair the old fashioned way instead of using clippers. Jacob was kind enough to rein in my goatee after the hair cut by Angela. Needless to say I will be making this place my regular spot.

Angela and Jacob are both top notch professionals. Angela = Best men’s haircuts in Uptown. However, she can do anything(women’s cuts, styling, colorings, etc). I haven’t had anyone else cut my hair in 4 years… she’s super cool, fun, and consistently delivers a perfect cut. Jacob has a steady stream of clients coming in for general cuts, fades, designs, and anything that falls under the professional barber realm. They seem to stay pretty busy, but almost always on schedule. Appointment required and they take cash or credit. Parking is convenient via underground garage and then walk up the stairs or take the elevator to the first floor and enter the«Salons of Dallas». Their salon is a corner suite with a nice view and a good vibe(comfy chairs, music, TV, and a frosty beverage if you prefer). I always leave happy and satisfied… highly recommend!

Angela and Jacob are great at their craft. They’re usually running on time and the people watching via the floor to ceiling windows facing the courtyard in the Oak Lawn/Cedar Springs area is fantastic. Parking is a breeze in the large underground garage. Back to the cuts: I get a tight fade with an edge up on a weekly basis. Jacob never lets me down and keeps me looking good. That straight razor edge up is the trick.
