I can’t even begin to describe my experience with this property. I specifically joined Unilocal in order to write this review and warn other about the terrible service I received. I have never been treated to rudely by a leasing agent ever.
I have lived in Uptown for a little over a year. My lease end date is coming up within a few months so I decided to go shop around for a potential new home.
This morning I arrived at the leasing office a little after 11 am. (they are open at this time. according to the sign on the door) The door was locked… I politely knocked on the door as I saw a woman sitting at the front desk… When she looked at me I smiled and waved. She slowly walked over to the main entrance and opened it no more than 1 inch (just a crack so she could talk).
She asked what I needed — I said I was interested in looking at some 1 bedroom apartments and wanted to see what she had.
She said you could only tour the apartment by appointment only… Which is weird since I’ve seen several different properties without an appointment. The woman told me to come back in 1 hour and she might have time for me. Apparently I’m not allowed to wait inside of the office.
There wasn’t anyone else in the office at the time… So I’m not quite sure what the girl was sooooo busy doing.
Needless to say, they treat potential residents with absolutely zero respect so I can’t even imagine how little they care about actual residents who pay rent.
She never bothered to introduce herself, smile or even act like she wanted to earn some commission off me signing a lease.
