Alpha Ecological Pest Control

I had a consultation and first service with alpha ecological and so far so good! I found this company by doing a search for a company that used green products since I have small children and dogs. This was the company I found so I decided to try them out. My experience on the phone was pleasant. I got a real person quickly and an appointment was scheduled on a Weds. I would have liked them to come out sooner, but they were booked (a good sign).
I was surprised when two people arrived at my door (instead of one) and one of them was the manager, Henry. Both were incredibly pleasant and professional. They put those blue «booties» over their shoes before entering my house (I didn’t ask them, that’s just what they do) and introduced themselves. They asked about children and dogs and then inspected the inside (mostly garage) and outside of the home. After a brief look they discussed with me several things, including recommendations to discourage rodents from nesting in the home. They had identified several things I think maybe typical pest control places would miss. When they quoted me the amount that they would charge for the initial visit which included both internal treatment of the home (attic, bathrooms, kitchen, garage) and exterior (eaves, perimeter) I was astounded that it was under $ 200 and that all came with a guarantee (they come back and retreat if necessary).
I could have even had the treatment done right then and there (we had a problem that did need almost immediate attention) but my schedule was too crazy for them to treat then. So the manager himself came by and treated my home so they could fit MY schedule.
During the treatment, I was shown the products that were going to be applied and was kept up to date about what was going on. I didn’t even have to prep the home (remove stuff from cabinets) or do much except answer a couple of questions.
The question is, are the critters gone? So far, so good. The insect that I had them treat the house for originally has not been in the home and I see dead ones outside. As a bonus, the treatment I received also repels other insects like ants and silverfish so I don’t need to worry about those (I have seen ants in the home before).
Needless to say, I am satisfied with this service. I have met 2 technicians AND the manager and they are all very happy to do their job, incredibly knowledgable, friendly and professional. If you live in the DFW area, have bugs (or rats even) and want to stay green (but effective) give them a call.
