The server was lukewarm to me. I’m a stranger. It’s just a donut shop, so I wasn’t expecting anyone to gush over my presence.
She was very nice to the guy behind me. So I take it they got regulars and the regulars have earned their smile.
The coffee is what you’d get at a gas station. Powdered cream, no real milk or liquid creamers that I could see. But it hasn’t stopped me from drinking it. Fortunately the coffee itself is fresh enough to not have to mask. For the black coffee drinker this will do just fine.
The apple fritter is melting in my mouth and they were still baking when I walked in.
Took a star for no liquid creamer. But so close to five on the freshness of the donuts. I will be back to make sure I didn’t just get lucky on timing.
