Very bad experience with Around Town Moves. Greg Mitchell comes across as a great guy, but in the end is very unethical. Cut corners through out our move and did not do things as he promised. Said he would supervise the entire move, but was gone half of the time, while his unexperienced workers did all of the work. As a result, I have A LOT of damaged and missing items from my move. Stay away from this company.

I won’t mince words. DO NOT HIRE THESE IDIOTS. They don’t know s*it about moving. Period. They’re unprofessional. Every time I turned my back, they cut corners. After asking them to wrap furniture, I found half of it unwrapped when I got to my new place. I ended up with scratches on half my stuff and they loaded my piano into the truck on its side (if you don’t have a piano, that’s a really, really bad thing no real mover would ever do). On top of that, they expect cash payment and had no receipt. I’ll be calling the Better Business Bureau and asking for a refund.

Gregory Mitchell and his team was spot on! The job was a small move, but they did an excellent job! Greg actually came out a few days before to see exactly what he needed to do for the move and he kept in touch the few weeks before! I highly recommend him (on-​time, same price he quoted, quick & efficient)!!!
