People were very friendly — food was good. We had breakfast of waffles and French toast. Then we got bagels to go since we heard rave reviews… I agree with the reviews! I had the«everything» bagel and chose jalepeno cream cheese. My mother had blueberry bagel with blueberry cream cheese. They were delish! And they didn’t skimp on the cream cheese! Bagels are only $ 1 but it’s extra .05 for slicing them in half. I didn’t realize that before we left :(

My co-workers took me out to eat here today for lunch and the atmosphere is great! It is cozy and the waitress was very friendly. The food also came out pretty quick. They also have a good menu to choose from. The reason I gave it only 4 stars is the grilled chicken sandwich I ordered was very plain and dry. I probably will order something else next time.

This has become my breakfast staple practically every weekend since I discovered it a few years back. If Forrest is too crowded, Midway location in Addison is just a few miles away…

To have a point of reference the location was first a Jewish restaurant owned and serving the Hebrew community until close. It was located in highway 75, and, It was close for few years until this wonderful entrepreneur from Viet Nam bought it. The question why a Vietnamese lady buying a Jewish restaurant? Why not!, she, Ms. Anh Vo is a visionary and turned it to what it is today more so she has open in several locations while maintained the superb quality oversee it by her. Needless to say my wife and I owned a advertising marketing firm and been eating there for quiet some time till I ask her for her business and started a great friendship with Ms. Anh Vo. By the way the menu use today is our design. The food is your grand mother food, it really satisfied you, quality, taste and size wise, is daily fresh served in a family friendly atmosphere. Normally when we get there we bring a dozen of NY Bagels back home, this a must do. I can not tell you witch dish I like most cause I order depending the season the soups and hot dishes in winter and sandwiches and salads for summer. The stuff has been years and years working with Ms. Vo. You should try the cakes, any one, you’ll love that final touch in your meal. In my 13 years going there we haven’t try all the items on the menu but no worries I got plenty of time. You will get the big bang for the money and who doesn’t like breakfast for dinner now and then?

Never again. The prices are good for a reason. My Pastrami was nothing like the one I normally get at Deli News. It was so fatty I couldn’t even chew it!

I’m not exactly sure how we ended up here on a Saturday afternoon. There was a decent crowd here, was surprised to see a small bar in the back. I ordered the veggie sandwich & added bacon. They served up a healthy portion of veggies on multigrain bread with crisp bacon with a side of creamy potato salad. The dessert case looked interesting but I was too full to try anything. Great lunch place.

Woah, this place is the bomb! We Unilocaled it, being here on business and brought my family along. I had the open faced corned beef, hubby had the TexMex omelet, kids had hot dog(it was huge and prepared perfectly) and sandwich and it was all outstanding. The portions were gigantic and the food quality, delicious! I had to come back the next day because it was just so good, I didn’t dare risk trying another breakfast spot. The wait staff is all very nice… don’t hesitate to try them out, your tummy will be glad you did!

It was hard to find with the sign not lit. you might want to know it between Popeye’s and church’s Chicken. The food was plentiful and good! The waitress was knowledgeable. It was great to get some Jewish foods since they are not sold in Oklahoma. Portions are large!

I use to hate Reubens until I had one here. I would have ordered two if I knew how incredibly delicious they were. The guy and girl who served us were both very polite and friendly. Décor is your typical hole-in-the-wall diner.

We’ve visited Cindi’s NY Deli three times now. Twice for breakfast and once for lunch. We’ve visited both the location on Forest Lane and Central Expressway. When it comes to breakfast, they do a great job putting it together. My wife loves french toast and they probably have some of the best french toast in the city. Personally, I love their home fries and their sausage links. My kid, she enjoys their pancakes a lot. Overall, they have a great assortment of breakfast options and each item tastes better than expected. As a lunch spot, I had their pastrami on rye. I’m a huge smoked meat fan, mainly Montréal style, but I enjoy a good pastrami sandwich as well. Their pastrami is super tender and delicious. Honestly, if I could make one suggestion it would be to give just a tad bit more pastrami in each sandwich. I feel like there is a decent amount, but there should be 1 – 2 more slices of it in the sandwich to really make it feel like a NY pastrami. Also, I love their fries. They’re not too salty and they all seem to have the crispy outside with soft inside. It’s exactly what a fry should be. On top of all of that, their pricing model is very respectable and affordable. That’s a huge bonus for most people, especially me.

I’ve been meaning to try out Cindi’s Deli for months and have been obsessively stalking their Instagram page, until I finally went on a Sunday morning. I have to say, this place is pretty great! We usually go to the Deli News on Preston when my husband is craving some New York comfort food, but Cindi’s is A. closer and B. cheaper.(And with reviews so great, the decision was practically made for us.) We arrive around noonish and waited about 15 minutes for a table. Totally worth it. We started off by sharing a bowl of Cindi’s Combo Bowl of Soup.(One Matzo Ball, One Kreplach, Rice and Noodles) I’m not very familiar with this kind of soup, so I’m probably not the right person to judge, but I found it to be really plain.(In flavor and appearance.) The broth and the kreplach especially — HOWEVER, the Matzo ball, the deliciously tasty, dense ball of matzo, was the star of the dish. I usually find matzo balls to be so bland, but this one was fantastic. I could have eaten four of those suckers and still wanted more. I ordered the Nova Lox on an Everything bagel(lightly toasted as recommended). Fabulous. Fresh ingredients, fresh salmon, fresh everything. Couldn’t have asked for anything else.(Except for more salmon, but it’s only because I’m addicted to the stuff.) My husband ordered the New York Reuben with Pastrami and sweet potato fries. Holy hell, was I jealous of what he ordered. I mean, don’t get me wrong, my lox was great — but his sandwich looked like east coast heaven mashed between two pieces of golden toasted rye bread. And to be honest? It tasted even better. Service was wonderful. Our server was attentive, friendly and funny. Awesome little diner. We’ll definitely be back!

I love the meatloaf. Has lots of sauce. Just how I like it. The waitstaff is a little rude but fast. They have a large menu so you’ll find something to eat.

I have never been to New York in my life yet. So I can’t compare any NY deli to this one. But what I can say is that eating here for the first time. I was amazed on the quality of the food and how much you get for so little money than some other places, If this is a real NY style deli then we as Texans are lucky to have here. Even though it’s my first time here and I will come back again very soon. Thanks to my brother in law for recommending this place for me and my wife. I read other reviews too and they are all right. This place is good damn good. The atmosphere is quite and little and cute. Kinda old school. The food and the deli meats look at so yummy and good. I really wanted to try the pecan banana pancakes but that’ll be next time. My wife’s Friday special turkey and dressing was good too because she shared a bite lol. I wanted to eat it lol. All in all I highly recommend this NY style deli to anyone who loves food.

I had been sick all day. I finally got my hunger back and was craving their matzah ball soup.(and a piece of lemon pie) I had been craving pie for a week.(this is important to the story) We ordered take out. Picked it up. Unpacked everything + no pie = NOTHAPPY!:( Quick Flashback: I had a very mediocre experience at the Little Red Wasp during Sunday Brunch in FT. Worth the day before. I was starting to get sick. I asked for an OJ. I was told that they OJ was reserved for people drinking mimosa’s. Seriously? When I figured out that their was no pie I was heartbroken. I know, I know, dramatic! I wanted pie so bad I was going to drive up there myself — even though I had been super sick all day. We called Cindi’s — they told us not to worry, we weren’t charged for it. Wait, what? We ordered pie and then got home and it wasn’t there. Just because you didn’t charge us for it doesn’t mean that we didn’t want it? GRRRRRR! Hung up. Grumbled about bad service and said if I owned the place I would have someone drive the pie over to my house.(We are only a couple miles away) 30 seconds later the phone rang. A manager was on the pone apologizing for the mishap and said they were sending someone over to deliver the pie. WHAT? WHAT? WHAT? I couldn’t believe it. 12 minutes later pie was delivered. People like to moan and complain on here a lot. It’s either AWESOME! Or SUCKY! I want this review to be something different. Cindi’s didn’t just make it right they went above and beyond to make it right. I own a business and spoke of this excellent customer service to my team the next day. I had a few client issues that needed to be dealt with. I asked myself, what would Cindi’s do? Cindi’s delivers pie to your door. Thank you for my pie! You saved my life. PS. The matzah ball soup may have had something do with it too. It is amazeballs!

Good choice for lunch as it was inexpensive and fast. This chain location has a good atmosphere with a substantial amount of older patrons. Ate lunch on a weekday and it appears as if a lot of the regulars all know each other. The food isn’t particularly special and being so full for lunch only bar seating was available. Felt like an all American diner actually.

Went here for lunch on a Monday with a friend. We had to wait about 10 minutes. I was expecting a panera type place but what it was was actually a diner place with amazing home cooked foods. They have homemade Danishes and amazing bagels. On this particular rainy cold day i went with some comfort food, chicken and dumplings. It was part of a Monday special. The dumplings came with a choice of 2 vegetables. The salad was nothing special and the broccoli was a little odd but all good. The chicken and dumplings however were delicious. A definite must have again. My friend ordered the matzo ball soup and that too was delicious. The place had a full bar and had pretty quick service. They also offered breakfast all day which also looked amazing! This is a definite must try again!

I met a friend here for lunch and was surprised at how packed it was! It definitely reminded me of a small corner deli, even the plating and the flavors were very small diner feel even though I know this is a chain in the DFW area. I had the whitefish salad to start, which was tasty. Smoked whitefish with bagel chips to snack on like a dip, very tasty. I will warn you that their portions are honest. I should have just got the cup of matzo ball soup(one ball) and instead I got the bowl and was shocked at the portion size! HUGE! I ended up taking half of it home for dinner. A half-sandwich is also more than enough for lunch based on my friend’s order. He had the tongue and I snuck a taste and it was good. Friendly staff, but if you’re in a rush this may not be the best choice. They’re very busy and you’ll probably take more time than you planned!

I stopped here this morning to pick up a few bagels. I have stopped at the North Central Expressway location and I saw the delicious bagels. This morning, Sunday, it was packed! There were people busting out of the front door. Parking was difficult, but I was able to find a spot close to the side of the building. They had fewer bagels at this location and less variety, BUT I enjoyed the bagels I ordered: everything bagel, garlic bagel, and onion bagel. SOGOOD. I would come back here anyday and everyday. I wish they had sweeter bagels though. I can’t wait to try more.
