CMC Makeup School

CMC Makeup School was one of the best decisions I have ever made. Oddly enough, when researching makeup schools CMC was the first one to pop up, and it immediately caught my eye. Shortly after coming across their website, I purchased the 8 day MUA PRO class, and shall I say the countdown began! I could not wait to start learning everything their was to know in the pro makeup artist world. I can honestly say that the instructors at CMC delivered that and some. Everything from sanitation, products, analyzing the face shape in front of you, color theory, technique, tips, tricks, and more was discussed during the class. As soon as I walked through the door on the first day of class, I knew that I was about to have an unforgettable experience. Not to mention that on the other side of that door is what looked like my mecca, makeup and beauty products from wall to wall. After you make it past the makeup store, and try to resist all of the wonderful products, you end up in the classroom which is amazing. Filled with personal vanity mirrors and lighting, director chairs, and not to mention the amazing view my class had with all of the foliage. Now on to the incredible kits, I was blown away by the amount of products you recieve everyday. It is like Christmas every day of class! From the makeup kits to the information you recieve from the instructors that have been in the business for years, I truly feel that every penny was well spent. Even the learning material that they provide is so helpful! Natalia and Chris were absolutely phenomonal, and I miss them already. It is clear that their heart and soul go into every look and every subject they cover. Along with the instructors, your fellow students are ones you will always have a connection with and reach out to for help. I can say enough good things about CMC, and can not wait to take more courses! This class was truly valuable, and I can’t wait to hit the ground running as a certified makeup artist with all of the knowledge gained at CMC!

I took the MUA PRO in Dallas, TX. It was truly an awesome experience. It’s a great class for beginners and for someone who is trying to develop their skills in makeup. I loved that they give special attention to each of the students to help improve your work. Christopher is a great instructor in airbrushing, which turned out to be my favorite thing about the class. Natalia was sooo much fun to learn from. Her energy and positive attitude made the class extremely fun. They even go over their own makeup kit so you can see what kind of things to consider purchasing in the future. I would definitely recommend CMC to anyone who is an aspiring makeup artist or anyone who wants to perfect their craft!
