I took a Huaqvarna BP blower to these people and after 4 claimed attempts, over a two month period to repair it, I had to take it somewhere else for repair. i had done a basic tune-up prior to taking it in(clean air filter, new fuel line, primer bulb and fuel filter, cleaned and verified spark on plug). They performed another tune-up, and apparently removed the in tank filter at some point. $ 130 total and still not running right. I spoke to the counter personnel, two mechanics, manager, owner’s son, and never received a response from the owner. If your machine needs a basic tune-up these guys can do it, but if the problem is beyond that, they are either incapable or unwilling to do anything more. My problem ended up being a clogged screen and a dirty high speed fuel port in the carb. These guys did not find it. They actually told me at one point to throw the 2 yr old machine away, and buy a different brand because Husqvarna machines are«too temperamental to repair»

Returned mower with missing parts. Blade came off while mowing and could’ve caused serious injury. Beware of Crockett’s! They’ll be shut down before too long due to a lawsuit!

The sad thing about online review is that most are not inspired to write a review unless they have an axe to grind. Although, a lot of reviews can be subjective but most people write reviews because they are pissed off. Im guilty of this as well. This however is a positive review about a company Ive used for years and who has been keeping my garden tiller off the scrap heap. Theyve always been friendly and helpful.

This place changed hands about a year ago with a full staff change. The new staff has no idea what they are doing. _trying to order a part is a night mare. Even when you point out exactly what you need they screw it up. Additionally they do not place the order when you pay, they hold the order for four or five days to save shipping(but you pay full shipping charges.

If I could give no stars I would. It took me about 2.5 months to get a battery replacement. I came in to the service center in mid Octobter with my battery and was asked to provide all equipment(weedeater, charger, and battery because it was purchased together in a kit) even though it was only my battery in question. No problem. They tell me it will be 3 – 4 weeks since all the equipment must be shipped to Ryobi. In Mid November I call to get an update and they tell me that Ryobi is dragging their feet on the request to approve the battery replacement. Then somehow it comes out that they have my weedeater and charger at the store and that I can pick it up because it was never shipped to Ryobi. So I confirm that they never needed to send the equipment in to Ryobi, they say yes(Caught in Lie #1) and I come and pick up the weedeater and charger as it has nothing to do with the claim now. Because of Lie #1, I call the Ryobi Customer Support hotline in order to find out why they are not approving the battery replacement. They then indicate no request has even been made(Ouch — Lie #2 confirmed). This Rep calls the store and has to tell them how to make a request for the battery. I follow-up an hour later to find out what’s going on and the person says«Guess what, Ryobi JUST approved your battery replacement». How convenient. Both Ryobi and Crockett confirm the battery will take 7 – 10 business days to ship to the center. After they ordered the battery, another 25 business days came and went with no word. Upon calling Crockett I was told«Oh hey, the battery just got here today!». When I picked it up, I was able to catch them in yet another lie(Lie #3). After telling them that I was planning to call Ryobi to have the package shipped, the truth finally came out. A mechanic came from the workshop came out to say they couldn’t find my other equipment(the weedeater and charger that I had picked up) so they just didn’t do anything at all. No ownership, no remorse, nothing from any of the 4 people at the desk. I implore you to NEVER take anything to this business on principal alone. Not because they don’t have qualified mechanics or good prices, but because of the above blatant unethical treatment of a customer.

This place is another hidden gem in Dallas. I needed a riding lawnmower gone over and someone recommended Crockett. Wow, these guys know their stuff. I had stopped by but later called in and dealt almost solely with Hilario. Everybody there was there to help. I may even buy other landscaping stuff from them.
