They performed floor sanding and refinishing work while I was out of town, everything from the quotation, to color selection to staining. I think it looks great! The grain shows more than in the original floor, but this is only different and actually adds character. I do recommend!

I grew up in construction before moving on to another career. We recently had our house’s floors sanded and refinished by Dallas Hardwoods. Our house is two stories and is all hardwood downstairs and partly hardwood upstairs.
The job was excellent, including the little things. For one spot with water damage, they replaced the flooring. To give better sub flooring, they glued the sub flooring down rather than nailing it. They cut smaller pieces so it would be firmer.
We were out of town while they worked (a must). Nothing seems damaged or missing. Everything was repaired, sanded, stained, and sealed very well.
Barry knows floors, flooring, and work. His team was fast, accurate, quality, and careful. An excellent experience.

Needed to have a few boards replaced and the whole floor re-​stained after a water leak. Barry and his crew were professional and on-​time. They beautifully matched the stain on the stairs to the new one on the floor. Very pleasant crew. Highly recommended.

I have used Dallas Hardwoods Barry Wolcott for about 12 years. I have had him do all the floors in 2 new build homes. Ive used him to put hardwoods in a room where there was already existing wood floors in the rest of the house. He recently redid all the floors in our house, sanded, stained and finished the floors. I think he is the best in the business. He and his team really know what they are doing. Dallas Hardwoods always shows up when they are supposed to and they get the job done in a timely fashion!

Last summer Barry Wolcott at Dallas Hardwoods add of the crowning touch to a complicated renovation in our house by coming in and perfectly matching our existing hardwood floors to our new construction. We ripped out and totally rebuilt the bathroom moving walls plumbing and HVAC equipment. The adjacent room had hardwood floors that were at least 20 years old. Dallas hardwood came in and seamlessly finished out the project. You could never tell where the The old floor ended and the new floor began. They came on time did what they promised and charged a fair price.
