One of the worst mexican food spots I have ever been in my life. Taco Bell has better food. High expectations and was let down. I hope I dont get food poisoning. I give this place 2 thumbs down…

this place may be a hole in the wall, but sometimes they have the best food at really good prices. have been going there for almost 4 years getting the large fajita quesadilla($ 5.50). its absolutely HUGE! love the lady at counter and she understands enough English to get the order right everytime.

This place run down, ridden with mosquitos, and has sub par food. I got a torta con pastor and the meat tasted off, bun was soggy, and overall a bad experience. Would not return.

So both other reviews are right on target with the«hood» reference. Lots of seedy characters, crappy motels and liquor stores dot the area just off I-30 and Samuel. Don’t go late at night if you are female and solo. I went with my lady on a weekday night around 9:30pm and it was nearly empty and seemingly quiet. However, throw out the notion that this a place is unsafe and try some authentic taqueria style tacos. I have made the rounds of the down and dirty taquerias in this town, and though there are a lot of them in Dallas, these tasty little buggers are some of the best I have had. We only tried the steak, but they were flavorful, fresh and not mysterious looking at all… no gristle or fat. The two salsas they offer are a green and red. The green is pretty hot, the red less so, but the flavor of the red is outstanding. We had ours served on corn tortillas like you should, with the standard cilantro and onions. On our trip, the lady actually spoke English, though I can get by with semi decent Spanish skills. I will have to say the tacos are pretty small for a buck and a half each… that coupled with the shady nature of the place keeps it from getting 5 stars. Pretty darn tasty stuff, though.

This is a true hole in the wall where no English is found… anywhere! In my broken Spanish I ordered 2 pastor tacos, 2 beef fajita tacos, 2 pupusas and rice and beans with a bottle water. Total 11.37! The server was also the cook and was extremely nice! The food was awesome and it was just what I needed to sober up after the crawl for cancer!
