Fresh Market @ the POB II

The food is not that great. I have tried some things that taste fine and some things that are nasty. I don’t like paying $ 6.49 a pound for nasty food.

Cashier very rude. Charged me twice for my meal and did give me my 10% discount. The food is over priced!!!

This Fresh Market @POB II (UT Southwestern’s West Campus) is like the Jan Brady to the Marsha Brady that is the Fresh Market at the Bass Center/​North Campus. It’s not as big or popular, but it might be closer to where you are this very second you are checking your Unilocal app. If so, give it a shot. To those unfamiliar with «the other Fresh Market», both are pay-​per-​pound buffet-​style food courts, where you can load up your styrofoam container with whatever you fancy and pay about $ 6.50/lb. The salad and dessert options seem a little expanded from that of the other FM, while the entrée options are sparser. Despite having less to choose from, though, they tend to have tasty options, from BBQ to curry to chicken parm. There’s even a little sushi (not amazing quality, but good value for the per pound). All in all (if we’re being honest) the other location is better, but not enough that this one doesn’t deserve some love too. Give Jan a chance.
