Gap

I like this location because not only is it huge, it isn’t picked over. To top it off, they often have killer sales that none of their other locations have. Like this past week I took advantage of 40% off of everything– even full-​priced items– in the store (50% if you buy 4 items). The staff here is helpful and I am usually able to fit my size or whatever I am looking for with their help. Only downside is that parking can be a pain (luckily I live walking distance)… and they don’t have baby or kids items here.

The clothes here are exactly my style. Half of my wardrobe is Gap.
The men’s selection is kinda tiny, but good choices.
They could def step it up on the customer service though.

I’ve never been a huge «Gap» fan so that’s why I gave this place 3 stars. I’m a petite and generally their clothes don’t fit me right. I went into the store after calling and asking if they had petites in the store (I saw some jeans at a great price online) and was told yep they did. So I went in… and then there was no petites. «Sorry… it’s online only but here I can help you figure out your size.» Well at least the manager helped me with that.
I think it’s a great location… friendly staff. really clean but still, I don’t think I’d ever become a Gap Girl.

This store is set up really well. All the clothes are hung so there are no issues reaching anything. The store is spacious and not cramped so I never feel claustrophobic walking around. My only complaint is that they don’t always have a ton of items in different sizes. They seem to only have 3 – 4 of the same shirt and only one of them if any is a small or x-​small. Its always a hit or miss in here for me. Although, maybe that’s a good thing. (Lord knows I don’t really need to buy more clothes than I already have!)
The staff is incredibly helpful. Right when you walk in the door someone greets you within seconds. They’re also really quick to get you a dressing room so you aren’t lugging around items. This definitely makes for an easier shopping experience. I hate malls so this Gap is my favorite to frequent. Not to mention its in the perfect location right in West Village.

staff is amazing. the store is always clean and organized. if they don’t have something in your size, they check right away for it in another store or online. such nice people. would recommend.

didn’t think location was extra special but it was fine. large enough to have a good selection. went on tax free weekend so i was able to grab a pair of shorts for $ 13. parking is a super pain.

always find great buys and finds.

My review is more specific to Gap body. Gap’s bulky winter wool sweater collection’s never been my thing… especially when it’s 80 in November.
This is the second time I’ve visited this store, I held off on my review because I didn’t purchase anything the first time around. I was specifically looking for a pair of lounge pants, a pair I had borrowed from my sister and haven’t stop thinking about them since… they were SO comfortable.
The first time they didn’t have any except for a lavender XS, not my size or color. I was lured in by a cute and comfy looking workout top… but they didn’t have my size or color there either. I was told they get shipments on Tuesdays so I waited and went back. The pant selection had increased but still no top. A worker looked the top up for me and told me the nearest location where they had it in stock was Houston…;she proceeded to look at me like I needed to make a decision on if I was going to go there to get the merchandise. Umm, no. I decided to look online instead and found it. I don’t love ordering online when there is a store right in the city that is just out of stock.
I’d give them 4 stars if they’d just had more sizes to choose from.

Not really sure whats going on at this location? I’ve been here tons of times and I always loved it. I think they may be under construction, but not totally sure (there were no signs or anything), but most of the store looked closed off. There was hardly any inventory and the store looked smaller than normal. Maybe they are transitioning to fall clothes!!! Basically just jeans, khaki’s and some long/​short sleeve tees. I was there all of 4 minutes…
The staff is all really nice at this location. Every person I came in contact with (or even in view of) said hello and offered the specials of the day.
Love this store though… will check back in a few…

Amazing staff here! Very helpful in finding sizes, recommending styles… getting you in EXACTLY what you want.
I love the location too. West Village really needs more easy to shop at places like this.
Sign up for emails in store and get a 20% coupon in like a day or two… just be prepared to be bombarded every day with GAP emails. maybe just an adjustment to the SPAM filter.

Typical Gap… good selection and great clothes. Modern, nicely kept store.
