Dear Goghee To Go, Please come home. The Medical District misses you. Go open at one of those vacant spots on Medical District Drive! Thai 2 Go is not competition, it’s completely different food. So come home, okay? Kthx.

Okay, this was my first visit to GTG. There is road construction going on right in front the building, which sucks, because it leaves no real space for any type of parking. I was looking forward to sitting outside at one of the tables. You almost have to use the drive-thru. That being said, the service is awesome. It took me a minute to digest the menu at first. The lady at the window was very helpful. I ordered the«3 Tacos» with Original Korean beef, all three, and a drink. She took my money and told me it would be about five minutes. And as promised, in roughly five minutes the order was coming through the window. The Korean beef, is kind of sweet, thinly sliced rib-eye, that I must say, tasted really good. Not what I was expecting, but a pleasant surprise. The three tacos were of good size, the toppings were fresh, which is always important to me. Three tacos was more than enough for me for lunchtime. There are several items on the menu that I think I’ll have to try soon. So I will be back. It’s not fast food speed, but it’s still pretty quick for cooked to order food. Better yet, it taste a lot better any fast food place I know of.

Pork tacos with kimchee were divine. Staff will help you with ordering as there are many possible combinations. There are a few tables to sit outside. Prices are very reasonable. Just a quick follow-up. Since my initial review, I have been back several times and it has been 5 stars each time. Highly recommend it to anyone in the area for a quick lunch or dinner.

Finally made it to this hyped-about joint. What impressed me most wasn’t the Korean tacos, but the friendly staff’s willingness to help a newcomer like myself. The tiny brown hut with lime green piping doesn’t demand your attention, so when in doubt — just look for the line green. The menu has an interesting line-up. You first order the protein, then style in which you prefer the meat served. I went crazy for a minute and almost had my delectable grilled portobello mushrooms in a burrito bowl. What is this Chipptle?! I don’t think so. And the waitress Didn’t think so either. She showed genuine concern for her cuckoo customer and told what was up. I am glad I listened to her and went with the 3 corn tortillas in a 3 different styles. The customer isn’t always right. The ginger fried were not my face — a little too saturated in the grease and gnarly mayo they put on top, but I do love me some gimchee, and was able to fish one out from the over-abundance of ingredients loaded on top

The place is easy to find and it was very clean. The staff was friendly. I had the Mushroom tacos for lunch today. The mushrooms were very good and well marinated. The Korean tacos have a delicious topping on them made with cabbage, carrots and red sauce, it was pretty tasty. The Mexican style had onions, cilantro and green salsa. The flavor was very good, and I imagine that meat lovers probably would love that place much more than vegetarians. There was nothing wrong with the flavor, my problem with the place is the fact that their only vegetarian choice is Portobello mushrooms. I don’t know why restaurants think that vegetarians just want to eat a big mushroom as a meal. I hate that! I really wish they had tofu or better yet, seitan! It would be much cheaper for them and much more satisfying for their vegetarian clientele. I would never go back, not because the place is bad, but because I don’t want to go eat a big mushroom and be hungry 30 minutes later.

I’ve always enjoyed Korean BBQ and it’s not a common thing to find around the Big D. Goghee may be a new concept for many but their big, yet simple menu makes it easy to order. The ingredients taste full and fresh every time. My personal favorite is the quesadillas with beef Goghee. The staff is always friendly and the food comes out fast. They have a drive through which can be a bit long at times and the parking spaces are not marked out well so it can be a challenge. Biggest issue on everyone’s mind: Seating The tiny building of Goghee is located on a huge asphalt lot with nothing but awkward parking and sad tables, shoved up against Inwood Road. The space could be much more efficient with some new landscaping, and a nice covered patio. Without cover from the sun, I’ll always be getting my Goghee«to-go». This place is certainly building a loyal following so it’d be awesome if they could make improvements to space over time. With the right improvements and a bit of shade, I’d definitely stop in more often.

ew, disgusting!!! I heard about goghee to go and didnt know where it was till I passed by going down inwood the other day. Thought I stopped by to try since everyone was talking about it. I dont think korean bbq is living up to the hype here because for one, can we please be original and quit copy the mexicans for their tacos? and two, koreans dont eat tacos!!! I got the beef bowl… I didnt know they put mayonnaise on top of my rice and some cabbage… it was disgusting!!! I ate about five bites and I threw it away. What a waste of $ 7 It was fattening and you can taste it! They put too much of the mayonnaise sauce on top. I like to control my own! I also got chips and salsa and that was good. Would never come back here. I like bb bowl pop better!

On dusty unglamorous Inwood road by southwestern medical center sat a new and decorated drive through taco stand that was even tastier than it was cute. The tiny building, a former who knows what, has been amped up with decorator chocolate brown, turquoise and lime green. Even the ugly concrete wall behind it was painted, and patio seating with umbrellas lines the street. What’s good? Korean Spicy pork the girl answered sincerely without hesitation, a good sign. For the neighborhood I was surprised with the packaging, the cleanliness and the healthy eco-friendly vibe. The tacos were damn tasty and clean. Salsa and chips for $.99 were also good. For $ 7 meals this place is a perfect fast food alternative, and easily ranks on my Dallas taco list. 3.5 stars gets rounded up for clean and healthy.

I just sat down and inhaled my first beef bulgogi taco. And its pretty good. Yes, like others have mentioned: the beef is a bit on the sweet side — but i think its perfectly fine considering that its Korean/Mexican fusion. I wish I had to get a mixture of taco meats instead of just beef but oh well. Anyways — i’m hoping that the overall experience I had at Goghee is just them trying to work out the kinks of opening week. I got there right at 12 and i was 3rd in line to order and #30 or 40 in the crowd waiting for food. Surprisingly after waiting outside in the freezing cold for 20 minutes i got my food — score! The weird thing is I got my food way earlier than a group of people that had been waiting for their food before me(and they were waiting a

I made the mistake of trying out this new Korean Taco shop on it’s opening day. The customers wanting to try out this new spot were very overwhelming for the 4 people working behind the counter. I would like to return, but I definitely plan to wait until all the kinks get worked out(or at least once the crowds die down). When I arrived there were about 25 – 30 people huddled outside of this small building. No indoor seating, only 4 tables outside. After I ordered 2 beef goghee, 1 chicken goghee and 1 pork goghee tacos, I overheard someone mention something about having already waited an hour. I wish I knew that before I ordered. It also seemed as if they didn’t have a good system for calling out prepared orders as no one had a number or any other identifier. Eventually they started taking names. There was a constant stream of apologies from the restaurant as people continued to wait. At one point they started handing us all free cookies. Chewy and soft, not bad. In addition to the people waiting outside, there were about 6 cars in a steady stream in the drive-through. Slowly over time, all the people ahead of me eventually got their food. I started to get really excited once the people directly before me were called up. It was almost time and my hunger was getting larger. I arrived and placed my order a little after 1pm. I had hoped it was towards the end of the lunch rush. I waited a total of ONEHOURAND41MINUTES for my order of 4 tacos. I probably would have left had I not already paid and kept telling myself«no way it will take an hour». Silly me. I got my food and sat down to devour it at one of the empty tables. Only downside with this was that the weather was a little chilly and you had the occasional homeless person walk by. Ding, ding… we have a winner! The tacos were great. My favorite was the beef. With the staff being overwhelmed, I was getting ready for either my order to be wrong or for something to be undercooked. Everything was perfect. The tacos had a generous portion of very flavorful meat in a normal sized tortilla. Thank goodness the food was good else I would have really been disappointed after the time I gave up. This place really needs to get the issues with wait time under control fast so that people will come back for great tacos. The food in my opinion was 4 star, but the wait time was –1 star. Three stars for now until they get everything under control.
