Golden Chick

I love Golden Chick! The tenders here were good, fries were meh, & the roll was everything. Customer service was nice & efficient, I got my food very quickly. BUT WHY DOES IT SMELL LIKE TOILET IN THIS JOINT? On to the next GC.

The cashier was walking away from the front and was sneezing in her hands when taking someone’s order. She also had an attitude taking anyone’s order. The place looked disgusting like it wasn’t cleaned. And when I got my chicken, the gravy was filled halfway and was dripping on the side. The manger was yelling at her staff to fill the ice machine. The staff looked miserable like they didn’t even want to work. I’m surprised this location has not gone out of business. I will contact corporate to look into this location. It’s really a tragedy. Anyways, don’t bother with this place. You’re better off going elsewhere, or a different location, for chicken.

I wanted some Jalapeño peppers from here, but as nasty as this place is, I think not. The girl in the food prep area don’t have a hair net on and fixing people’s food and scratching her head. That’s nasty. The floor front and back is nasty, it stinks and all. And on top of that, the workers are ghetto AF. Talk to you crazy and when I asked for a refund because of the girl scratching her head and not having a net on, the manager got mad. SMH

I was hungry for some dinner so I went to Golden Chick. Of course it’s not the very best of town to be in but it’ll do for now. There drive-​through speaker for them needs to be worked on because they cannot hear you sometimes. after I placed my order and came around service was quite quick I got my food and when I got home that chicken that I bought was so juicy and good I bought the roasted chicken which was the eight piece special mix with sides I had the mashed potatoes with gravy and themac & cheese corn on the cob coleslaw dirty rice all my God it’s spicy and it is good and they had dinner rolls to go with my meal with honey, I have tried their fried chicken which is good but the roasted is the best that’s what I would recommend till next time.

Delicious fried chicken but in terms of time, it’s not as «fast» as it should be. There’s almost always a line, whether you opt for the drive-​thru or going inside. Cashiers aren’t rude but they’re not the most enthusiastic. Actually, nobody here looks happy to be alive. LMDAO.
Love the Zesty spice… the dirty rice…

**Before closing your establishment please make sure all patrons are gone, walking out of the restroom to find all of the doors locked is a little unsettling.**
Overall a pretty good 15 minute stop for chicken.

Got the #2 which was the 6 piece chicken tenders with a side and drink. Decided to get the jalapeño poppers as well to try it out. The tenders were kind of small but with the spice mix they seasoned it with on the outside after they fried it was pretty decent tasting. The gravy dip that came with the tenders were gross. Bland and watery. Fries were typical fries and the jalapeño poppers were kind of meh. The poppers at Church’s chicken has more kick than this.

Great chicken, the wicked wings, roasted chicken is awesome!
