Major thumbs down. We love breakfast tacos and gave these a try this morning. Ridiculously pedestrian and flavorless. We were very disappointed. The tacos were expensive too. No thanks.

(This review is for the taco place). Just excellent all around. Creative creations that include tostados, wraps, tacos, bowls and more. This is not classic or traditional Mexican or even Tex-Mex, a warning in case that’s what you’re looking for. Flavorful meats(we had chicken and pulled pork), variety of ingredients(for example couscous, mangos, coleslaw) and generous portions. Tasty salsas as well, though they could have a spicier option. Well priced! Parking is tricky if you haven’t been before, but if you look around you’ll realize there is overflow parking available. No valet, thank your higher power. Staff is efficient. They close at 3pm :(and no alcohol. But there is a coffee bar in the same place(different business I presume) if you need some chemical enhancement. Would definitely return and recommend.

These are not your usual tacos. That doesn’t mean they’re not amazing. I’ve tried most of the things in the menu and have never been disappointed. There’s a small coffee shop inside the place so you can get fresh coffee, too.

Love love love this place! I love that they have speciality tacos and my favorites are the Honey Bear and the Hotlanta. This is such a good place for brunch. The tacos are pretty big and filling but worth trying more than one!

Geez I tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt. They flat out refused to cook a fried egg the other day even for the up charge. This place has gone down hill since the owner stopped caring about it. Such a shame.

Great food, garbage customer service. Employees would rather pay attention to their phones than actually let someone pay for something they’ve been standing at the register with for 5 minutes. Pushing this down to two stars. Just got home with our order. Wife brought hers to work. I brought home 1 labeled«Beef» and another labeled«PTX(Paris, TX)» — and BOTH were Paris, TX tacos — which means my wife is sitting at work with the wrong taco… Seriously, a little care for your business and product can go a long way. This place is going downhill.

In my humble opinion they are the best breakfast tacos in Dallas. This place is constantly filled with people which shows the following it has. The fact that cultivar coffee shares the space is great for convenience sake but I will say you will pay a pretty penny for their brews. Overall worth the few minute drive next time you’re near the arboretum or White Rock Lake

On our last visit we were told the Double-Down option was no longer available. Alas, this was great way to try a couple of different tacos. And, now the Goodfriends has its own kitchen, so taco customers are no longer welcome on their patio. Would be nice if G2G built their own patio soon!

Not only are the tacos spectacular… the Brisket Hash-over is delicious. Going for lunch? Navin R. Johnson(coconut rice…) Cultivar Coffee is one of the best coffee shops around and it’s great to find both in one building.

This is breakfast taco mecca! Vegetarian? Got it. Vegan? Yup. Low sodium? No problemo. 5 Meats in one taco? Do it. They have tons of options, from a classic egg potato and chorizo, to some crazy brisket tofu sweet potato thing. You can order their suggested styles or build your own. You can also choose between corn and flour tortillas, which is great because many places only do breakfast in flour. We had a few types, my favorite was the egg, potato, cheese, spinach, and jalapeño. The potatoes were soft and tasty and they roast the jalapeños themselves, so they have that sweet/spicy/toasted flavor. You might have to wait a little on the weekends, and seating can be tight… but it’s great motivation to get up early and go.

Cultivar is way beyond a coffee shop. Cultivar provides great espresso in one line, while Good 2 Go Taco offers a creative mix of breakfast bowls and gourmet tacos in another. Both restaurants share one community dining room, with a few small private tables, and some large shared picnic tables. The result is a super casual, cozy, family friendly environment that feels more like a diner than a coffee bar. There’s a small private parking lot in front, another one in back, and overflow parking in an abandoned lot behind that.

WOW, this place has very creative and has luscious food, if you know what I am TACOin about. This is far from your traditional taco. Far from those street tacos you find at Fuel city, so out of the box that you have to make the drive to try them. They are so good I would not even call them tacos, they need their own category of food… heaven between a tortilla. Let’s start off with the Minnie taco. It literally just melts in your mouth. The addition of the goat cheese gives it a creamy essence that makes you go back asking for more. The Hotlanta taco is has a similar flavor profile as chicken and waffles. You can tell the chef that invented these tacos put lots of thought into implementing texture in food. You get creamy, crunchy, and smooth all in one bite.

Holy cow these are some really great tacos. I mean really, really great. I came here on a Friday afternoon with a friend who had been here before, and she assured me that one taco would be plenty of food. I wasn’t fully convinced(I have quite the appetite for tacos) but I took her advice and ordered the Minnie Pearl($ 4.50), one of two vegetarian tacos on the menu(more than one veggie option is always a good sign). My friend got one of the day’s specials, the Garlicken Chicken($ 4.25), and we shared a basket of chips and salsa($ 2). We were were given a number and left the counter in favor of a table outside. Service was very prompt; we received all of our food within ten minutes of ordering. The chips came first, and they were perfect: crispy and salty with that little sheen of oil that denotes a truly housemade chip. The amount that you get with your soup bowl full of salsa is downright mountainous, especially since it’s just $ 2. The tacos came next, and I’m so glad I only ordered one, because the Minnie Pearl taco was HUGE! More like an open burrito than a taco. They serve it to you in a little basket with a fork, which should give you an idea of how unwieldy it is. Pleased with the size of my meal, I dug in, and I’m pretty sure my eyes popped open in pure delight. The flavors on this taco were unreal. Who knew that spinach, couscous, goat cheese, corn and mushrooms wrapped in a flour tortilla could make such a scrumptious, satisfying meal? Well, now I do. And I’ll definitely be back for more.

I get why people like this place. It’s hip, cool, unpretentious, and really draws in the E Dallas crowd. On a Saturday or Sunday morning, you should be prepared to battle for a seat, as this place gets really crowded weekday mornings. They share a kitchen with Goodfriend’s Burger Bar, so while Goodfriend’s gets the evening crowds, Good2Go gets the early birds. The coffee bar is actually a separate line and called Cultivar, a local micro-roaster based in Dallas. The brew is good, and a great complement to the tasty tacos that await you. I got two lunch tacos(available after 11am): 1. Garlicken-Chicken 2. Mini Pearle The Garlicken-Chicken was awesome, two thumbs up if I didn’t need all the fingers I could muster to hold together this delicious mess of a taco. Even though this taco is just $ 4, it is a lunch-sized portion and a single taco will fill you up. It came chock full of asparagus, fried onions, and delicious chicken. I couldn’t taste very much garlic on the chicken, but it was tasty nonetheless. The Mini Pearle was a really interesting taco and was filled with couscous. This is a great«healthier» choice compared to some of the other meat & potato tacos on the menu. Also huge, it came with some goat cheese, huge leaves of spinach, and did not leave me hungry. The tacos were a nice contrast with each other, but my only complaint is that both tacos tasted a bit over-salted.

I usually go to Torchy’s for breakfast tacos(or any tacos really), but I wanted to venture out this morning, and I realized this place has great reviews and is very close to me. Good 2 Go Taco shares a venue with Cultivar Coffee(which I didn’t try this time — next time!). The venue is casual, this morning it was very rainy so it wasn’t very packed. I ordered a the«Paris TX» taco to go and sat down at a table to read my book while I waited. I believe it was about $ 5 and some change for the taco. Service was good, and it was delivered to me promptly. The taco itself is awesome! Highly recommend the«Paris TX» one, though I’m looking forward to trying their other ones. I can’t see myself eating more than one taco in a sitting as they are good size. Lots of flank steak and very tasty in the«Paris TX». I will absolutely be returning for more tacos and to hopefully try the the coffee!

I normally don’t like breakfast tacos(I know, what kind of human am I), but Good 2 Go Taco is extremely different. I LOVE their breakfast tacos. Their eggs and salsa are perfect. The portions are pretty big too, and the cashier recommended that I get 1 taco if I’m hungry. 2 if i’m famished. Well, I was pretty hungry and could only finish 1 and a half! The Paris, TX is my favorite. Delicious flank steak with eggs, spinach, and potatoes. I thought there was garlic in it, but it’s actually garlic roasted red potatoes. HEAVEN.

I’d go 3.5 stars for this East Dallas taco joint but I’d say it’s closer to 3 stars than 4 so. .. 3 it is. Honestly, there’s really not much you can do with a taco. They make a nice effort by offering up some unique ingredient choices so I commend them for that but, in the end, it’s still just a fucking taco. I went with two tacos. The first was a Hotlanta. Fried chicken dipped in waffle batter, sweet potatoes, and honey lightly drizzled over the top. The sweet potatoes were overwhelming. Way too many of ‘em. I think this taco would have been stronger with less sweet potatoes and more honey. Just sayin’. Taco numero dos was the Honey Bear. Basically a breakfast taco with eggs, bacon, and goat cheese. They went a little heavy on the bacon(which would be welcomed by most Americans but, gasp!, I’m not much of a bacon fan. I like it in small doses). All things considered, it was good — but not great. The atmosphere was simple. Pleasant. It was the noon-time/lunch rush hour and there was no line and I had a few tables to choose from so that was nice. Would I go back? Eh. I wouldn’t make a special trip to East Dallas for it but I would join somebody else if they wanted to check it out.

Since I moved to Dallas just shy of two years ago, nearby Velvet Taco( ) has been without question my favorite tacos in the city. True life: Good 2 Go Taco gives Velvet a run for their money in every possible way. Star 1: How were the service and atmosphere? Outside of being just a tad bit out of the way if you live in Dallas, G2GT has an amazing atmosphere that combo’s a quaint coffee shop with a contemporary taco house. While the line can get lengthy on a weekend morning, they’re fast and efficient, and my two tacos and queso were at my table before I was done getting some water. Brilliant. Star Granted. Star 2: How were the portions relative to the cost? Fantastically fantastic. You can get essentially all things Mexican Food here at G2GT, and everything is reasonably priced. There are premium tacos that touch the $ 4 mark, but a very large custom taco with four ingredients will cost you only $ 3. Have a look: Great prices. So much food. Star Granted. Stars 3 and 4: How was the food? Marvelous. Honestly let’s start with the queso, which supplanted Torchy’s as my favorite in the city due to it being just a tad bit thicker. The tacos? fresh and contemporary with quality ingredients, and the brisket in my breakfast taco could have been a meal in and of itself. My only constructive criticism would be the tortilla, which would have benefitted a bit from being a tad bit fresher. Evenso, wonderful. Dual Stars Granted. Star 5: Would you eat here every day if you could? Yes. Star Granted.
