Very clean inside, and I could even watch the fresh donuts being made in the back. I opted for kolaches, and had the cheese one and a regular one, and both were delicious, soft dough and very fresh tasting, you could tell this was made a short time prior. I’ll definitely be back to try the donuts and have some more delicious kolaches!

This donut shop is soooo convenient and everything BUT I’ve had better kolaches and donuts at other places. The shop offers a wide variety of different kolaches and donuts which is nice. The staff is really friendly and helpful if you’re in a rush. It wasn’t very busy when I came in on Saturday morning around 8am but it could be due to the heavy rain.

Good donuts and a good sausage roll. I’m not sure I would order the one with bacon again. Limp bacon weirds me out. The donuts were alright.

I was looking at a 2-hour wait on my oil change, so I wandered over to Ingram’s Donuts out of both hunger and boredom. Sugary donuts didn’t seem that appealing for some reason, but I was impressed by their plethora of pigs in the blanket(or «rolls» as they call them at Ingram’s). I snagged a couple of cheese pigs and a couple of jalapeño cheese pigs. I started with the regular variety so as not to ruin my palate with jalapeños. The dough was fluffy and clearly homemade. It also had a slight sweetness to it that I enjoyed. The«sausage»(aka cocktail weenie) was most certainly store bought, but had a good flavor at least. The jalapeño pigs had all of the same great qualities as the regular ones, but with the added bonus of jalapeños. I wish they had used jalapeño sausage instead of just inserting jalapeños into the dough. Either way, the big slices of pepper gave off much more flavor than the finely diced jalapeños I was expecting. They weren’t overly spicy, but just enough for my liking. I don’t live very near to Ingram’s, but this will definitely become my regular oil change time-killer. I’m also really glad that they didn’t commit the unforgiveable sin of calling their pigs in the blanket«kolaches.»

This is NOT the Ingrams Donuts you think you remember. There is absolutely Nothing special about this dive. There are no longer any of the specialty items they baked in the past. I feel no desire to ever return.

You’re not going to drive across town to go to Ingrams. It’s not a Krispy Crème or anything. But if you drive past this place every day on your way to work like I do, you’ll stop in multiple times a week. I’m a pigs in blankets(with cheese) kind of guy. Mainly cause it’s quick and I’ve always slept until the last possible second. After dielectric heating from the focussed microwave radiation has softened up these little puppies they are quite wonderful. The donuts are worth it too, especially my favorite, the blueberry. All in all, far better than your average indistinguishable donut shop, and as close as you can come to the former grandeur of Ingrams /Lone Star donuts back in the seventies.
