Another one of those rare reviews where I just don’t even want to post how good this place is! I visit Amelia on a regular basis for a massage, typically a 1 hour or 1.5 hour if I’m feeling extra sore. Don’t walk in thinking you’re going to be soaking up a spa setting and immersed in a plush bathrobe while drinking mimosas when you visit. No no, for the real massage-​getters out there, we all know that although that would be nice, you go on a vacation for that– somewhere on a beach, that’s at least a 5 hour flight away! This is the type of place where Amelia works out all your kinks and smooths out your knots. Say, «Bye Bye» to those aches and pains! What I appreciate the most is that Amelia won’t talk if you’re wanting that, or she may tell you a bit more on what area is just feeling a bit off if you want that, too. The place is always clean, smells fresh and relaxing to the point where you will fall into a deep sleep!
I started going to see Amelia when she was in a share space off of lower Greenville, then she moved to Lakewood, and I believe she is moving one last time so she can expand her hours! Best part is, she’s got great packages to offer that don’t expire and can be shared! Such a deal without discounting the quality!

online appointment setting was a breeze. I love their rescheduling policy– let us know ASAP if you can’t make your appointment. It’s much more fair the other salons that charge you when you don’t cancel within 24 hrs but don’t comp you when «something comes up» and they cancel on you. :/​

I’ve been going to Amelia for massages for a few months, and she’s terrific. She’s very skilled and professional, and operates in a very convenient and comfortable environment. She’s able to tell me where I have the most tension better than I’m able to verbalize to her. Online scheduling is very easy. She’s the best massage therapist I’ve had, and I’ve been getting monthly massages for years.

I was introduced to Lakewood Body Care by Groupon for a waxing in 2014. Leah is a ROCKSTAR. She is quick and thorough and makes a normally painful waxing, not so painful. I highly recommend using Leah for your waxing needs. She does my nose, lip, eyebrows and bikini/​brazilian areas.

I bought a groupon for a one hour massage and it was great! I easily booked my appointment through their website and was able to an appointment quickly. Amelia made me fell very relaxed and focused on the areas I asked for. I was pretty much asleep at the end! I’ll definitely use her again!

3) A great location in Dallas, Texas
I usually get the 2 hour massage because 1 hour is just not enough when it comes to taking care of my massage needs. If you have never had a 2 hour massage then you are truly missing out on one of the best habits you can adopt. Make sure that you drink plenty of water after, tho.
I have lived in Arlington, Denton and now Dallas and I have not found a better massage therapist than Amelia. If you want a relaxing massage after a long Monday or a 2 hour massage after working out on Sat mornings, Amelia has the skills to keep you body running without the pain and discomfort that comes with activity and aging.
As a 41 year old male Lakewood Body Care keeps me looking and feeling fine.

I have been going to Leah for over a year now. I actually followed her from her old place to this place. She is very professional and quick. She is great at her job and does everything she can to make you feel comfortable. She is quick and efficient which is great for someone who is on the go like myself. She is very accommodating to my crazy schedule. By far, she is the best in the business that I have seen. On top of all that, her price list is the most affordable I have ever seen. She really is the best.

Had a great massage by Amelia today! So great I forgot to tip her! Guess I left there so relaxed and peaceful, it didn’t even cross my mind! The suite was easy to find and scheduling online worked great for me. I was finally able to make an appointment due to a cancelation and I must say I had a great experience! Amelia was very attentive to my needs. She focused on the areas I told her felt tense. She also placed a lemon scent on the head board. It was so refreshing!

Amelia is amazing! One of the best massages I’ve ever had. It was the perfect balance of pain relieving pressure and relaxation. She also took the time to talk to me afterwards about my issues. Oh, and she worked on me for the entire hour, which definitely does not happen at places like Massage Envy. I’ll definitely be back!

Amelia no showed on my appointment. I made the first appointment (of three purchased through Groupon) about a month earlier via phone tag. Like most soloists, Amelia texts during breaks, but I don’t use my cell phone much, so she called me.
After I called about the no-​show, Amelia did call me back. The impression I got is that texting works for setting up appointments with Amelia. Regular phone calls obviously do not. I know this stuff happens, but you’d have to be a better person than I am to not just ask Groupon for a refund.

I see Leah Starr for leg waxing. She is awesome! The room is private and quite. She is quick and thorough. Probably best to make an appointment but she is flexible with her time. I highly recommend this place.

Amelia is wonderful, knowledgeable, caring and patient. I had searing pain in my shoulders and lower back areas. I went to different spas around the area and continued to felt pain. I immediately felt release after have a massage from Amelia. She is professional and truly cares about her clients. I worked at a five star spa in Dallas and I would highly recommend anyone to see Amelia for their next massage appointment!
