Today I went to grab a salad at The Kitchen, but arrived a bit too early(they open at 5pm), so… the new store next door caught my eye. The thing that is amazing about this store is that when you first walk in, you can already tell it’s a place like you’ve never been in before. Truly unique items, ranging from kitchenware to stationary to jewelry and photo engraving… no matter who you are, you’ll find something to interest you. What drew me in was the Judaica. I bought a colorful, delicate necklace and a charm bracelet, neither of which I have never seen anything like(I will post pictures for the business). The necklace is stunning, it is pewter with gems and beads and the bracelet has charms of the Magen David, Menorah, Hamsa, Aseret ha-Dibrot(Ten Commandments), and a heart. They had these handmade, glass trinket boxes, which I am definitely getting there next time as well as colorful decorative glass bulbs. So much stuff, so little time. I’m sure there’s plenty of stuff I left out, basically… this is a great place to go if you’re looking for a fun, original gift for someone close to you or someone that you don’t know at all! It’s my new secret, which I’m sharing for a limited time. Since they’re relatively new, they’re promoting themselves by giving you 20% off, I don’t know when it will end though, so don’t hold me to it if you’re there and they aren’t offering that! OH! The shop owner was really friendly and didn’t mind answering my silly questions about Jewish symbolism. :)
