Metro Mania Barbershop & Spa

Fantastic place to get your mane tamed. Metro Mania offers a nice chill environment coupled with some seriously knowledgeable staff. I just moved into the DFW area a few months back and was hopping from place to place, hoping to find my go to barber. Cortney took great care of me and I left with a big smile on my face. Will go back again.

Courtney is an amazing barber if you are looking for a good fade. I drive over 20 minutes to come see her and have her cut my hair!

I’m in town for only two weeks and needed a cut, found this place on Unilocal.The young lady was very professional, greeted me right when I walked in, and got me in and out of there fairly quick. She gives one of the best hair cuts and doesn’t hesitate to suggest things to you. Will be coming back anytime I’m in Dallas

These are salt of the earth, real deal, good people. They do really good haircuts, etc. and customer service is their top priority. I highly recommend this barber shop for your whole family!

Came in on a weekday looking for a haircut. Courtney asked if I had an appointment and I wasn’t quite sure if I needed one. She told me it would be about 15 minutes or so.
There’s a TV in the waiting area to keep your company. Along with a lot of different things hanging on the wall. One being the prices.
It was about $ 20 and up for a standard haircut. Kids are $ 15. Shampoo and style is $ 30.
I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do with my hair since I’ve been going to the same barber and barbershop for the past 3 – 4 years and wanted to try something new. Courtney gave me options and I left it up to her expertise. It came out alright. Was looking for a more cleaner fade, but it was clean enough for going out and to look professional at work.
Her kind mom then rang me up at the front register. For me $ 20 is a bit too steep for a haircut. Totally understand the craft of a barber and not taking that away. For guys haircut, I can get a very nice haircut for about $ 13 – 15.
Nonetheless, Courtney and her mom are very nice. Just not my style and price range for my haircut that doesn’t require too much.

I’ve been to tons of places in Dallas in search for a good haircut and Cortney at Metro Barbershop is the real deal! She made some great recommendations which turned out wonderful and you can tell she pays attention to detail. Overall a great haircut and great environment. Also they do a neck shave which comes included for the price of a haircut. I will definitely be back for my next cut.

After reading all of these 5 star reviews, I decided to give this place a try. I am glad I did!!! Cortney not only did an excellent job on a sick fade, but we talked the entire time as well. Very homey, friendly atmosphere, and it’s only a few minutes from my house. I’ve found my new barbershop! Thanks, Cortney and team!

Loved my haircut!
I’m in Dallas for just a few days before moving on to a wedding on Saturday and I was still in desperate need of a haircut so I took to Unilocal to help me find a place. Fortunately, I was just down the street from Metro Barbershop and the user reviews did not steer my wrong! It was relatively empty when I walked in, but I could see the appointment book was pretty full and I think I just got lucky. Courtney greeted me right away and I was seated just a moment later. I gave her a general idea of what I was looking for and she went right to work. Had a great conversation with her and her mother who co-​owns the place with her seemed equally as lovely. I was in and out in maybe 10 minutes.
Fantastic experience; I only wish they would move over to the Los Angeles area! Enjoy your time in Sonoma, Courtney!

Excellent Cut. Great mom and daughter shop. Very friendly and personable. They each have their expertise (i.e. lady’s versus men’s cuts). I got a 0 fade cut which Courtney executed flawlessly. They seem to really care about their customers and the quality of their work. I had a cut, wash, style and beard trip for $ 24. That combined with the excellent quality cut and service makes this place hard to beat!

I HAD to write a review once I got a haircut by Cortney. She is the real deal, her fades are on point and is amazing that she has only been cutting hair for 5 years. I could not find a place that could do great tapers or fades and also style the top of my hair correctly and could not find a place that styled great yet could edge up and fade seamlessly. Cortney has done it and now im hooked on this place. The atmoshpere is great and Cortney and her mom are so welcoming, they make you feel like family. Do not pass up on this place!

Courtney is the bomb! Ditch Floyds, ditch Knockouts, ditch your current barber. Metro was awesome and Courtney is outstanding at what she does… check them out!

I have been having my hair cut at this small independent barbershop now for about
a year. I had tried numerous other barbers and never could find anyone who cut
my hair consistently like I wanted. Metro currently has three barbers who all listen
carefully and patiently try to cut my hair the WAY I WANT. This is a rarity in today’s
world. It took me some time to find this great little barbershop. Save yourself some
trial and error time and give them a try. YOU’LL LOOK GOOD I assure you.

What can I say, Metro Mania is awesome. I have lived in Dallas my whole life and never had a single haircut that I was actually happy until Metro Mania popped up in my neighborhood. Courtney is an amazing barber! The shop is very homey and her mother and her are great people, they will treat you right and give you an amazing haircut, prices are extremely fair!!! Worth the drive even if your not from the area, check them out!!!

Had a great time getting my hair cut. I’m definitely a fan. Cathy was extremely helpful in helping me choose a hairstyle that fit me best, and I am extremely happy with how it turned out. I was feeling like a million bucks when I left! I would definitely recommend to anyone.

I love, love, love this barbershop. Courtney is amazing and I can’t tell you how many people ask about my hair. I had gone to Floyd’s here in town for a few years, and it doesn’t compare. I have made a great friendship with Courtney, and she’s never let me down.
I would never trust my hair to anyone else.

Pros: I started coming here a few months ago and nothing about this shop disappoints. The shop is always clean and if you ever have to wait, which is rare, there is a very welcoming waiting area with books, magazines, and of course a t.v.
This is a small business that’s owned/​operated by a wonderful mother and daughter duo. They are always welcoming, funny, and down-​to-​earth. My regular barber is Sam who I first started visiting around 2001. He’s very professional and sincere, also. He makes a great addition to the shop and of course he cuts great hair and pretty much any style. He’s excellent with shears, clippers, or both. I would definitely recommend the shop.

Don’t let the old school exterior or location fool you, Metro Mania’s the barbershop you’ve been looking for! I met Courtney while she cut hair for a trendy and popular establishment in Dallas. She quickly became my go to hair stylist, and when she decided to strike out on her own I couldn’t have been more supportive. I’m notoriously particular regarding my hairstyles and Courtney is a rare talent. She’s a pleasure to share life with, and there’s no one I’d more highly recommend in regards to taste and style.

What an awesome place this Barber Shop is!!! I was forced to come to this place due to my current or should I say Ex-​Barber was being a BIG TIME Douche! But, I tell what! I’m so glad I did come to this place… the Barbers here are very professional, and know what they’re doing!!! They took care of me, and my two sons as if we had been coming here for many years… this here means lots to me. The haircuts were outstanding… the Bald Fades, and lining up couldn’t have been done better.
I highly recommend this Barber Shop!!!
