Super friendly staff, and generous portion sizes. Rarely any long lines. The food is a great value, and seems like it’s relatively fresh as far as fast food TexMex goes, but don’t expect top notch cuisine.

I had always wondered about Moe’s until I did research on what their brand was all about. I intrigued me to find out about their being non gmo and having grass fed beef. I tried this location and their quality spoke for itself. The staff was extremely friendly. The food was fresh and great quality at a great price. I liked having so many ingredients to add on and spicy salsa. That was delicious. Definitely going back.

Original*******Today was a terrible day for Moe’s. The drink machine is broken, they are out of pork, they are out of chicken. So about this Moe’s, these things listed are a regular occurrence. Sometimes the pork is pink. The chips aren’t always hot and fresh. The employees can be rude and mean. And everytime that I have come here after 6pm they have always been out of meat, not because they are physically out but because they do not cook it. I guess I was spoiled by the great service in Georgia. It seems that this Moe’s always gives you the scraps and leftovers, with a side of rudeness. UPDATED***** This place has really turned it around. The service is great now and the food is sooooo wonderful. Seriously delicious, I love Moe’s food. Now when I go they always have the meat and other food stocked and no issues with the drink machine. Thank you Moe’s for being awesome. It makes the harrowing 20 minute trip to downtown worth it. And the employees here have really perked up. I make sure to leave tips now. I ate here all the time when I was in the military and now I can eat here all the time as a vet.

Rarely do I struggle with reviews. The food was OK. Not bad. Not impressive. If you are looking for a place where there are options, Moe’s may work very well for you.

First of all the bathroom is Super Duper and I love this. Now on to the food, delicious great fresh ingredients to choose from even tofu!!! The portions are the same with each visit. Staff friendly and welcome you at the door with a WELCOMETOMOE’s. Chips come with your meal and they are fresh and crispy and light. Wish there was one in Desoto, Texas.

As a long time eater of Freebirds world burrito, I had to try this place. Sadly, I would say it does not compare at all. The pork tasted like it was unseasoned, the rice was very bland, and the salsa seemed very watery. If there was not a free birds within two hours, I would eat here, but would never get the pork again.

Loved this place! This was the first time here. We got nachos and they were enough to split. Needless to say, late night recap of this greatness will commence after children are asleep and I can retreat to pajamas and peace. The restaurant was impeccably clean and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful in guiding us through what could be an overwhelming experience of choices otherwise. The salsa bar was impressive. One taste of the cranberry salsa and I was in heaven. Our meats were tender and flavorful. I was impressed by the selection of things I could add to my piles high nachos at no additional price. For the service, the delicious selections and the overall ambiance I give Moe’s a 5 star review. Other restaurants in the southwestern/texmex business need to take notice and respect for the great food served here.

I have been to this place several times, and keep returning because the food is delicious but I always feel like I’m overcharged a bit. Even though I always feel this way, I’m even willing to pay to park outside to come here… but, I went today and was overcharged by almost $ 3.00. They say right on their menu that you get a $.50 discount for ordering two or more tacos(which they never seem to give). I was also charged for the«Overachiever» tacos instead of the«Funkmeister» which is $.40 cheaper each taco… and I was supposed to get a side and a drink for $ 2.69 and I was charged full price,($ 1.09 for the side and $ 1.99 for drink= $ 3.08) So… if you’re adding this up along with me, my lunch should have cost $ 8.77 plus tax and I was actually charged 10.86 plus tax which $ 11.76 total. They would have gotten 4 – 5 stars otherwise. The food rocks and the salsa bar is awesome. The only complaint I have on the food is that the chips are sometimes greasy. All in all, a yummy treat for my tummy, but not if I get overcharged every single time I go.

You have to eat here!!! I love this place! I had the Homewrecker and it was HUGE. The staff was great, too. They were out of steak, but they cooked some fresh for me and gave me an extra helping to make up for the wait. I had the regular guac because they were out of the spicy guac. A few minutes into my meal, one of the guys behind the counter brought me a free side of spicy guac they just made for free! They topped the great food with great service.

Great options, had the quesadilla and couldn’t even finish it. Salsas were wonderful and the prices are great. We ate here before a show at the Majestic, it was quick and within walking distance.

This place appeared near our office so I thought we’d give it a try. There are all sorts of awesome taco places in the area like Velvet Taco, Taco Joint, and, of course, good franchise places like Chipotle, so maybe our standards are too high but we were disappointed. Moe’s setup works a bit like Chipotle, where you assemble your taco as you go through the line(e.g. soft or crunchy taco, what kind of meat, what toppings, etc). The operation wasn’t as a smooth as Chipotle; they frequently seemed confused — maybe because it’s a new store or maybe I was ordering something unusual. I got three soft flour tacos, one chicken, one pork, one ground beef. The first thing I noticed is that their chicken doesn’t appear to be grilled like Chipotle’s, it looked boiled or steamed or something — no grill marks. The ground beef wasn’t too appealing either, it was almost a liquid like that chili at the 7 – 11 they squirt onto a chilidog. Next disappointment was the pico de gallo, it was a soggy, gloppy mess that looked like it came out of a can. There’s no way it could have been made on site from fresh ingredients. The tomatoes in it were gelatinous squishy things. The soft flour tortillas they use are really thin and my tacos were falling apart almost as soon as I picked them up, so I ended up having to use a fork to eat them. I tried the pork taco first. It turned out to be nearly all fat and gristle, so I abandoned it and moved on to the ground beef taco. It was tolerable but I had to let all the water and other fluids drain out of the beef before I could easily eat it. I wouldn’t describe it as good by any means. Drive over to Taco Joint and get a soft taco with ground beef to see what they should taste like. Last up was the chicken and it tasted like it looked — bland. All three were really soggy, largely due to the pico de gallo goo-soup that permeated them. The iced tea was really weak too, barely more than water. Tea is pretty variable at lots of places and I normally wouldn’t complain about it but it seemed like everything was cursed at this place. I can only think of one or two taco places in the DFW area that I really, really dislike but Moe’s will definitely make the list. Price was a little over $ 20 for two people.

How do I not love thee? Let me count the ways… Husband had tacos, all of which he described as substandard. I had the quesadilla, which was not pressed and sealed like a proper quesadilla, and was overwhelmed with a drippy sauce. The green salsa was probably the best thing on the menu. I would not go again.

I love this place for quick fresh Mexican. Yes, similar to Chipotle or Freebirds, but this place offers something you won’t get at either of those places! Delicious TOFU! I love it in the burritos or salads. It’s is very well seasoned and tasty! Chips and salsa bar are great and also very fresh. They have one of those huge fountain machines with like 100 flavors of beverages. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. If you check in, you get free stuff your 11th visit in!

Had lunch here for the first time. It was a Saturday, so downtown wasn’t real busy, thus the restaurant wasn’t busy. But there was a little rush once we sat. Think Chipotle with improvements. Lots of options, including burritos, quesadilla, nachos, tacos, etc. The ingredients were fresh and you choose every option. Guacamole is included and was great. Lots of soft drink options, no alcohol. I’ll definitely return. Nice little, new spot in downtown !

I love Moe’s! So many gluten free options for me! My husband and I first found Moe’s why living in Chicago. We have been waiting for one to come to the Dallas area that wasn’t in the Airport. Everything is fresh, burritos are my husbands favorite he gets the Homewrecker with steak. My son loves the kids burrito and the fact that Moe’s has the touch screen drink machine.
