As «nasty» stores go, this one is amazing. We went to Condom Sense on Cedar Springs and got out as fast as possible because it was warm, sweaty feeling and dark… creepy.
This store, although located in a shady part of town, was well lit — nice, bright, organized and clean! I didn’t feel like I had to be ashamed to shop there with the hubs or like we were freaky swinging pervs.

After my complaint was registered, the manager arranged for me to retrieve my twenty dollars. The employee was questioned and received remedial customer service training. I am a happy, satisfied, return customer.

This review is from my trip about a few months ago. But I decided to review.
It was late at night and I was coming from a friends. I walked in and saw a cute cashier, he was real cute & looked round my age (22).
Him and the manager were looking at me a little curious as I was searching the store. I got my toy and went up to the register. The manager asked me my age & had me show my ID lol. He then told me my makeup was really pretty and on point. The cashier also agreed and was talkative too. They were sooo nice & the manager gave me a discount (for being cute? idk the real reason but I’ll take it!) other than that, great staff & selections. The workers are cute so that’s a plus ha (:
But I went again next day to see it was a lady manager & the cashier was still there & I could tell he remembered me but he wasn’t so eager to help this time. The lady manager was very fast and short. I want the guy manager back.

Nice staff who were willing to try to help. However the staff kept asking me if I needed help. It’s like they were trying to bother me since I was alone in the store. The store was a mess and not stocked. Not great selection for all areas except videos.

How is it this place has no reviews? Maybe everyone’s too embarrassed to admit going here, but it’s a fun store!
First of all, from what I can tell, at least half or more of this place is DVD rental? Still? I have no idea who is coming here to rent their porn on DVD, but whatever. I was here about 10 years ago and looking for classic 70s stuff like «Behind the Green Door» or «The Devil in Miss Jones» and they had nothing. The only one they had was «Taboo,» which we made the horrendous mistake of actually watching. Let’s just say it involved a mother and a son, was the complete opposite of sexy, and pretty much scarred me for life. So they really just seem to have a daunting amount of bad amateur porn (is there another kind?) and again, who is paying money to rent this instead of using the internet? Anyway.
This is a great place, on the other hand, for toys. They have an entire wall of vibrators and though it’s not really my thing, they seem to have a ton of S & M offerings and more than the average place when it comes to off-​the-​beaten-​path adventuresome. I noticed they have a good amount of games, but overall I think other places like Condom Sense or Condoms to Go have more in the way of bachelorette/​bachelor party goodies. You know, the really tacky crap I hope to god I personally never have to endure. They also have quite a few selections for guys’…“solo play” is the polite way to put it, perhaps. But overall, lots of variety in the toy department.
I’m sure their traffic has dropped off immensely over the years due to the privacy and ease the internet offers, but for what it’s worth, the prices here really aren’t too much more than what you find online. And if you’re shopping here rather than goodvibes, there’s probably some sort of immediate need anyway.
