Convenient location, and the work was just fine. But the older guy who works here(perhaps Nick, himself) is just a jerk. Really brusque, grumbly, and rude. If pleasant human interactions don’t really matter to you, then you will probably be just fine here.

As a shorty, I have been going to Nick for years. Because I am so short, anything I buy requires about six inches chopped off the bottom and a hem. Nick does it all: he has hemmed my prom and bridesmaid dresses, jeans, trousers, and he has fixed many a split seem and tears for me as well. I am always extremely pleased with his work. The prices are also fair. Nick is very friendly and he loves kids. The woman who works there isn’t warm and fuzzy, but she does great work. Nick and his staff are old school. Maybe because I have been going here for years, I know to keep my ticket. That is their system and it works well for them. If you loose your ticket, which I have done before, they can still find your items(s) but it is going to take to them longer. I think it’s funny that customers don’t follow the rules(loose their ticket) or do things last minute, then have the audacity to complain on Unilocal that it took a long time for employees to find their item. Well, duh. To the reviewer who was«disgusted» by the suggestion that her son goes to boy scouts — were y’all wearing signs that say«my kid has SIDs» — with the definition of the disorder on it? Without a sign, how is anyone to know? The comment wasn’t made out of malice, so don’t be a baby about it. Additionally, if that comment was so offensive, perhaps you should learn how to spell your son’s «disorder» correctly. Sometimes Nick’s can get really busy, so be sure to plan ahead if you need an alteration by a certain date.

I’m going to pick up my dress later today, so this guy may have done a good job, but let me tell you, he’s flat out rude. Called to check on the status of my dress, and he acted like I was totally annoying him and wasting his time. He asked for my stub number, and I said I couldn’t find it. He said that he couldn’t do anything without the number. I asked him if he could just look it up by my last name, he sounded exasperated and just put me on hold without responding. I didn’t know if he had hung up on me or what. He finally came back on to say that it was ready. Wow, sorry you’re having a bad day Nick, but don’t take it out on a new customer because I certainly won’t be back.

Worse customer service ever. Treated us like we did not even matter. My wedding is Saturday. My Fiancé goes in to get my sons pants. He makes him go back home to get the ticket. When he comes back not only where they hanging there, he just wanted to be difficult. Customer service has been lost. He treated us rudely when we came in and again when we picked up. I will NEVER ever use them or recommend them again. Very disappointed ! They apparently think they are experts at parenting as well. He knows nothing about my son and said we should put him in Boy Scouts so he could learn something. Maybe he needs to learn compassion for children who have certain issues. My son has Sensory Integration Dissorder. Disgusted
