I liked the soup, especially the chicken noodle and the great selection of simple meals that include soup as a side. Also the breakfast available at lunch suits me sometimes. Many of my friends like this restaurant also and we started to meet here weekly. Crowd is growing indication a positive response the the good food and good service and value. Glad to see business picking up.

Great diner for breakfast or lunch! Gave it a try two weeks ago — going back today. The wife had an omelet and I had scrambled eggs w bacon. Everything was prepared very well, served hot, tasted great and service was superb — waiter was the owner! Place was about half full & everyone seemed to be pleased. Give it a try!

I had the ham & cheese omelet with hashbrowns and toast. My kids had the pancakes with bacon. Everything was solidly good. Service was attentive but not over bearing. Coffee was decent. It is very close to my house which is really why we tried it out. I’m curious about their lunch and so will try again. Compared to the other place a block away the breakfast was as good, the service was better, price for food better and the coffee not as good. I would recommend if you want good solid diner breakfast.

Simple, no frills, classic breakfast joint. I went late morning and the place was pretty empty, so it’s kinda hard to gauge how things run here when it’s really busy. On my visit, service was fast and friendly, excellent biscuits & gravy, a robust cup of joe and Waylon Jennings as the soundtrack to my meal. They also have a lunch menu, with sandwiches, burgers, chicken and salads, but they’re only open till 2:30 and they don’t reopen for dinner(something that I’m sure they’d change if the business takes off). I’ll definitely be back to try more items on the breakfast menu, AND the lunch menu. Here’s hoping more people find out about them and keep this small town café alive.

Who doesn’t love a great breakfast? I always«test» breakfast restaurants to make sure at least the cooks know what they’re doing — usually Benedicts pose the challenge with hollandaise and poached eggs. You won’t find Benedicts here — nor should you. But my poached egg was perfect! Hash browns are typically taken for granted, but these were excellent as well — crispy on the outside, with soft potato innards. Link sausages standard, gravy(don’t add salt until you taste it first) same as everybody else’s –ever wonder why? So the on-site food preparation is very good. Saturday morning crowd not at all bad for a new restaurant, either — half to ¾ full, and everyone seemed to enjoy their meals. I have great expectations for this local spot. They’ll refine some of the minor kinks, and they have some great potential. A new, basic-breakfast spot is always a good thing!
