I was there today & I ordered a small cone with 2 scoops of cherry ice cream. What I got was vanilla ice cream! All cherries pushed away. I said I wanted some cherry on my ice cream since I bought«cherry ice cream». I was told the couldn’t scoop from the top?! It was for display?! Only from the bottom of pan which is basically plain vanilla. Here is the worst part, after I told them that I changed my mind because there was no cherry in my cherry ice cream they took it back and dumped it back to the ice cream pan so they could resell it!

Great alternative to ice cream. Paciugo has lots of flavors that are tasty. Their gelato doesn’t contain cream, which is great for those counting numbers. It would be great if they offered toppings like frozen yogurt places. The piccolo is their smallest size but don’t underestimate it because they can pack a lot in that small cup. The lady I had was kind enough to pack 2 flavors in the piccolo which they normally don’t do.

Not a destination stop but if you are in the Northpark Mall, it’s a fun stop with a great selection of gelato. I had the tres vanilla mixed with the extra dark chocolate, my son had the coconut and my daughter had a combo of apple strudel and birthday cake. Even battling the itty bitty spoons, our cups were emptied in no time. Although the two scooper was a bit much for me, the single scoop was not enough for a couple of hollow-legged teens, so my kids dispatched the remains of my combo before I finished saying«I’m full, would you like…». Next time we’re in the mall, we’ll look forward to checking out a few more flavors.

this is just all hype, not real. their gelato is nothing like real gelato. paciugo’s gelato should be called«icelato». it’s all ice, no cream, does not taste creamy nor smooth at all. have some real gelato in italy first, before you say this place’s gelato is «real» gelato. come on! this is a terrible marketing scheme.

Some of the best gelato I have ever had! So creamy and flavors I’ve never seen. I had the salted caramel, peanut butter Oreo, and the dark chocolate — perfect combo! I love that you can mix flavors in a single bowl. I also tried the banana(tastes just like soft frozen banana), wedding cake(in gelato form, amazing!), black cherry swirl, and mint chip. Everything we had was delicious! Wish we had hem back home.

There are soooo many delicious flavors here and I love that it’s hard to choose. I have a sea salt caramel weakness, so that was my go-to. You can mix up to three flavors in your cup(the small is actually quite a decent size, in my opinion!), which helps makes deciding less difficult! The gelato here is divine – not too rich or sweet, just flavorful and decadent. This location has great staff, at least on my visit. I was here Sunday evening around 6:30pm, the weekend after Thanksgiving. They were still as bright, chipper and chatty as if it weren’t the black hole weekend of retail hell. AND it was thirty minutes before closing. I wouldn’t have blamed them if they had looked beaten with tear-streaked cheeks, but everyone was lovely.

Conveniently situated inside North Park Mall, close to a bunch of food shops and the AMC theater, this place has the same great gelato as in other locations. My fave is Chocolate Mint, the wife likes carmel sea salt or something like that, a perfect blend of salty and sweet. The best thing is that they have kid sizes which is adequate because the gelato is so rich.

How can you say no to Italian gelato? One of the go-to places. It’s in the mall and right next to the food court. It can be tricky to stay in line w/o being a traffic hazard. Taste test different flavors and pick your faves. This is the only location that makes black sesame. I am so glad I accidentally stumbled upon this one day! My friend wanted gelato. I wasn’t really«feeling it» until I tried the black sesame. Won me over! I wish they made that flavor everyday! :)

I’ve had gelato in Philly(where I’m from) and was very skeptical that a place like Dallas would have good gelato(because seriously? Isn’t Dallas famous for having tons of fatty food? How could they have something light like gelato?) But it is very good — they have lots of fun flavors and interesting ones — they’ll even let you sample the ones you’re thinking of getting so you don’t make the wrong choice! Great place!

Having a gelato shop in a busy mall like North Park is great news for everybody. Why? Well, if you’ve got kids with you and you want them to not run amuck, buy them some gelato and you instantly become supermom. Also, personally for me, when I’m browsing shops with a gelato waffle cone in my hand with typically my favorite flavors: banana cream pie, chocolate, and coconut, I’m less likely to shop impulsively. True story! See, gelato is good for you. :)

As good as the famous Giolitti in Rome. I have had gelato in Rome, Florence, and Milan. This was just as good. One of only a handful of places I can say this about. The flavors are more suited for American tastes, but the quality is there. The pistachio is fantastic. It’s my benchmark flavor. Good stuff. One of the few gelaterias I can truly recommend.

Yum, this is really great gelato. Thick and creamy with great taste. In a lot of places when I try gelato, the pistachio flavor is what I usually get and sadly, you can’t really taste it sometimes. Paciugo does a good job of bringing out the flavors and of course, if you’re not sure what you want, you can always ask for a sample. My other favorite is chocolate hazelnut. I’d say to come here instead of red mango or coldstone’s if you’re in need of a sweet treat while wandering around Northpark.

Love gelato, probably a little too much but at least they give you a tiny spoon so it seems to last longer. It is more expensive than ice cream but arguably worth it.

The best gelato joint in town! Love this place! I like all the flavors I’ve tried so far… free samples while you decide which flavors you want in your cup. You can choose multiple flavors!

Food: 4 Décor: 2 Service: 3 I dropped by here for some gelato since we were walking around Northpark, and I remembered the good reviews. Sampled 3 flavors and ended up choosing a mix of four flavors. Sadly, I don’t remember what they were, but the gelato was pretty good. They also have a Paciugo passport with some offers and perks, including free gelato, available at the register when you sign up for their mailing list.
