Another great coffee shop downtown. It’s really cool to have things open in the morning. Lots of people walking around enjoying their morning coffee.

I LOVE Pearl! Their staff is really friendly, and their drinks are made carefully and deliciously. Nothing is too sweet, which I really like, and all of my drinks have been made really well. The Pearl Latte is the best thing on the menu — I’m literally addicted! Basically, you should definitely go to Pearl.

This is my third time stopping by the Pearl Cup, it is located at a super convenient place if you work in the arts district. It’s a small coffee shop, that only specializes on coffee, some bake goods and a few other cold drinks. Please note that they do close at 4:30 p.m. Unless they have a concert going on. I first had the Mexican hot chocolate, and wow! It tastes just like the one my abuelita(grandma) makes… It’s delicious! I regretted not getting a large lol. The next time I bought a Pearl Latte simply because the three people in front of me did too, I wanted to know what the hype was about. And yes… Amazing! The froth was perfect and it wasn’t too hot, nor not too sweet. Also, their isn’t very much seating inside. Yet, they have chairs and tables outside. plus it’s next to a beautiful sculpture garden where you can enjoy your drink with a view!

I love Pearl Cup! They have the best flavored lattes… particularly the Hazelnut latte. This coffee shop is right next to the Winspear Opera House and it’s all made of glass so you have a great view of the Arts District while sitting inside. There’s also outdoor seating with umbrellas set up for shade. I would love to study here on weekends, but their hours are too short… Sat they close at 2pm and Sundays they’re closed. Please extend your hours Pearl Cup! :)

Pearl Cup has the distinction of being my absolute favorite place to grab coffee outside of work. I love going down to the Arts District on Saturday mornings, grabbing a hot mocha, and sitting outside, soaking in the environment. They are kind of tucked away behind the box office, so you might have to look carefully to find them. The baristas are always pleasant and prompt — I have never had a bad drink at Pearl Cup. I miss their old location on Henderson, which is what prompted me to try and find this location instead. They have kind of odd hours, so it would help to consult the profile pic for this business on Unilocal(which has their hours of operation). I am hoping they stay here permanently, as they are a welcome addition to the Arts District!

Perfect cup of coffee here at this hidden little gem of Dallas! My husband and I took our dog here this morning. Very peaceful and great little spot for our dog to roam around in the grass. Something he doesn’t see very often living in Uptown! Took us less then 15 to walk here from our apartment in Uptown. Check it out!

This is the third Pearl Cup location I have tried, yet only the first I have actually enjoyed! They used to have a location in East Dallas next to the old location of We Are 1976, and that one was meh in both atmosphere and coffee — I felt like I was unwelcome. Then the Richardson location on Custer which has delicious baked goods but again with the unwelcoming vibe, plus an uncomfy/confusing interior and meh coffee. But third time’s the charm! We were downtown at Klyde Warren park and desperate for caffeine. There was some place at KW park with coffee but no non-dairy option for my vegan friend. So we searched«coffee» and just walked to the closest result which happened to be this. It’s hard to find — we didn’t really see it until we had basically passed it. It was like walking toward a mirage in the desert… «but the map said it would be here!!!» But ye verily, we found it: an oasis of milk and coffee in the vast urban wasteland of Downtown Dallas. We walked in, and my expectations were tremendously low. Two bad experiences under my belt, plus this place seems almost like an after-thought — tacked on to the side the lobby of a much bigger building. But we encountered the most lovely creature named Nichole manning the shop who greeted us very cheerfully. I interrogated her about the types of drinks, the differences, etc. But she rose to the challenge in the most charming way, providing detailed and precise answers, and helped match us all to the right drinks for us! I distrustfully thought to myself, «ah, well they lucked out and hired an awesome person, but no way I’ll be impressed with the coffee.» But nope, it was AWESOME! I had just a plain ol iced coffee, unsweetened and with some half n half. I’m having a hard time verbalizing it, the words crisp and clean and rich come to mind. I chugged that sucker down and got seconds! Nichole basically single-handedly redeemed the whole entire business in my view. Two sad things: this isn’t a particularly good spot for studying imo, and I also didn’t see any PB&J bars like they have in the Richardson location which are delicious. I’ll be back to *this* location for sure though!

«Hey, there’s that small random coffee place again… it looks open too…» That’s how I always end up here. When Pat Baby and I let loose in the Arts District, this is a mandatory stop for us to get some coffee for him and a cup of tea for me. If we happen to get to the opera a bit early, we still stop by even while decked out in evening wear. We even get some pastries because it’s cheaper then the«food» at Winspear. For such a small setup, I’m surprised how good the drinks are. The lattes are very tasty, especially the Chai one. It’s even just nice to look at. Tea on the other hand… well, at least they have tea. I don’t have much else to ask for from a coffee place though. Please serve hot tea and provide seating so I can people watch. Done and done at Pearl Cup.

Delicious coffee, great service, and extremely convenient location to the arts district. I went to an event yesterday(during the nasty icy weather) and was in search for a cup of coffee for warmth and a jolt. I had no idea that the new location was here. Pearl Cup normally closes at 2:30 on Saturdays, but they continued to stay open for all of the festival goers. Talk about customer service!

Pleasantly delicious coffee, it was nice and smooth and reasonably priced. Extra points in my book for free WiFi and staying open pre performance. Not crazy that the only sugar they offer is sugar in the raw. My experience with it is that it doesn’t dissolve right but that’s a minimal complaint. Inside and outside seating is a plus as well.

The most dazzling of the four Pearl Cup locations offers free one-hour parking on Flora Street and free WiFi throughout the Elaine D. and Charles A. Sammons Park connecting the AT&T Performing Arts Center’s Annette Strauss Artist Square, Margot & Bill Winspear Opera House and Dee & Charles Wyly Theatre. Take a seat inside the box office and information center or grab a table outdoors for inspiring views of three Arts District buildings designed by winners of the Pritzker Prize(architecture’s highest honor) — I.M. Pei’s Morton H. Meyerson Symphony Center(home of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra); Sir Norman Foster’s Winspear Opera House(home of the Dallas Opera); and Rem Koolhaas’ Wyly Theatre(home of the Dallas Theater Center). Hours are a bit unpredictable but it’s always open for morning coffee through lunch on weekdays and most evenings prior to performances and during special events.
