Petit Atelier

There are so many good things to say about Petit Atelier! I recently completed the beginner and advanced sewing classes and have learned so much about clothing construction and how to make quality clothing that will last you for years. In the beginner class you learn to make a skirt including darts, zipper and waistband. Michael will teach you different seam finishing techniques as well to make your finished product look professional. In the advanced class I learned to construct a fitted shirt including a collar. Now I have two patterns adjusted to my sizing to make my own pieces from. The classes are paced well to allow you to learn from watching as well as working on your own, and the workshop is well equipped with everything you need. If you are tired of making pillows and other home sewing projects, sign up for the beginner class and you will be well on your way to making clothing you will be proud to wear.

I have been working with Michael for the past few months, completing their sewing classes. Before I started I knew how to thread a machine, and that’s it. I am now on the 3^rd class and look forward to the classes ahead.

Michael is hands-​down the best tailor in Dallas! I take every single one of my button downs these guys and they tailor them to fit like a glove at half the price of their competitors. After Unique Tailor off of Mockingbird ruined a few of my best shirts, I’ve tried multiple tailors and will ONLY use these guys going forward.
