Propane Taxi

In the beginning, the concept was awesome and delivery service was convenient with competitive pricing. Not so much now, service is a bit shady and pricing is bit more expensive. We took advantage of an advertised April special. On line scheduling and delivery was great and very was fast. When we received the replacement tank it felt light (er) than it should have been if it was filled properly. So we used our scale and weighed it. As suspected, we received a half filled tank. It weighed 19 pounds, tank and gas, which meant we did not receive a filled tank. We contacted customer service at the email given and indicated that an empty switched tank was given and the tank was on bad shape.
Customer service’s response was extremely defensive only indicated it used precise meathods to refill 15 lbs of gas in each of its tanks. Again, the new tank’s total weight was only 19 lbs. So, instead of replacing the tank, we were sent an email indicating it was picking up the tank.

I tried Propane Taxi out using a Living Social daily deal. It was awesome — I just put my tank out on the specified morning, and it was replaced. It’s about the same price as lugging it to the store — the convenience factor is just so much more. I was happy enough to now refill the my spare tank.

They were really quick. I made my order on a Saturday and they delivered it on a Sunday! Plus they were totally cool with calling me when they got there so they could deliver and install it to my patio!

A fast and extremely convenient service. I signed up on a Saturday, and my bottles were delivered on Monday, free of charge! I highly recommend propane taxi.
