They do not honor their discounts. Jerks. Pocket point users beware. They talked smack about us in Spanish.

First and last time eating their food. Only one of the staff spoke English it seemed. Staff was just putting whatever they wanted to on and in my order like there was some sort of emergency or just to get me out of there. Smothered burrito was $ 9 of rice, overly spicy who-knows-what-sauce, and a tablespoon of beans. The three morsels of some sort of animal product might had tasted descent if they weren’t drowned in said sauce. I usually try to have some«good» with the«bad». So, I guess I could say they were fast.

Overpriced mediocre Mexican food. Cheese quesadilla cost me about $ 8. I was like wow! Paid it and never going back! My fault for not checking on the price but I didn’t think a cheese quesadilla be that much.

Drove out of our way to try this place for the first time, and I could not be less impressed. The tortilla was soft and cold — almost chewy, the ingredients were bland, and the only flavor came in the form of soupy pulled pork. Half way through eating my burrito it literally disintegrated and poured a cup of juice out into the basket. No thanks, I’ll stick to Chipotle… it’s cheaper and the ingredients are far superior.

I have been going to this location since it opened, when the company was still called Zteca. I have also been getting the exact same thing for about 18 years: three steak tacos with cheese and sour cream only. There are three people that have worked there for almost my entire life– I started going there maybe when I was 5. I’ve moved all over the country and every time they come back, they remember me and are incredibly sweet and kind. The customer service here is great if you are polite and pay attention to the fact that the workers here don’t just exist on the planet to serve you! I love this place and service is incredibly fast. I could have taken my business elsewhere in the past decade or so, but I wouldn’t ever. Lovers lane Qdoba forever!

This location is just ok. The one at McKinney and Lemmon was much better. The staff is pretty rude here, and the food is not as fresh as it could be. I was very disappointed when the Lemmon location closed.

I had the Mexican gumbo and two tacos. My favorite thing of the meal was the Mexican gumbo. While it is good I would not go out of my way to get it.

The food is kind of blah — not very impressed. there’s nothing really that makes it set itself apart from every other Mexican place out there. The mexican food market is extremely saturated here in Texas. About 65% of all food is mexican or tex-mex, so even tho some places i.e. Qdoba, you would consider them decent if they were in another state, in Texas you got to really bring it, if you want to be considered among the best.

This location is great. Friendly and fast workers. They have also been working at this location since I have been coming 10 years ago. Great food!

got the new combo with beef nachos and 2 chicken soft tacos. The queso sacue is very good. they are little cheap with the toppings on the nachos but still tasty. The soft tacos were great, you tell them what ingredients you want included. Alot like Chipotle, decent servi e, clean tables. I will probably join rewards club and go back.

Here’s the deal. I’m a huge Qdoba fan. I have been for over a decade. I’ll continue being a Qdoba fan. But I had a really awful experience at this Qdoba today. My boyfriend and I were in this part of town because of an appointment further south in the morning. He wanted some Mexican Gumbo, but I wound up going down the sidewalk to eatZi’s. They made his Gumbo to order, etc. etc. It tasted fine when we got home. What pissed me off was what happened when we got to register. Even though he was paying for his bowl, I got out my Q-Card to get the points for it. Qdoba has had this rewards program FOREVER. It used to just be a punch card… when you bought 5 burritos, you got a free chips and queso. When you bought 10 burritos, you got a free burrito. Over the years, the program changed. YEARS ago they switched to swiping cards to keep track of points, and it’s no longer one for one(each entrée has a different point value(all around 100 points each), and once you hit 1,000 points, you get your free burrito/bowl/gumbo). So I’ve had this card for a long time. Over 8 years, at least. My Q-Card number is older than anyone else’s I know. Anyway, so we get to register and I hand her my card. She says that they have NEW cards now and the old ones don’t work. I asked about all of my points on my old card. She said that I can transfer them to the new card on the Qdoba website. Okay awesome. «Well, can I use my old card right now to get points for this purchase?» ‘no, it’s deactivated. it won’t work anymore. i can’t swipe it.’ «Okay… can I use this NEW card to earn points for today and then register it when I get home?» ‘no. it has to be registered first.’ «So basically we get no points for coming in today at all, even though I’ve had this damn card for 8 years?» ‘not until you register the new card’ So we get home and I check the Qdoba website, still a little annoyed that I had to change my card, etc. The Qdoba website very clearly states that OLDCARDSSTILLWORK. I can CHOOSE to get a new card(the new cards also have a keychain one so if I want to use that one instead of a full-sized wallet card, I can), but I most certainly don’t HAVE to. So no, it’s not the end of the world. I’ll continue to go to Qdoba. But it really sucks that I wasn’t able to get the points for today on my old card, AND that the employees are clearly completely in the dark about it all. I get that the *new* rewards cards are NEW and there’s a learning curve for everyone. but that falls on the training in place by the manager at this location. Everyone should know what they’re talking about, especially if it’s likely to annoy customers should they get it completely ass backwards.

This is a good, potentially healthy lunch spot depending on what you order. The usual mega burrito place. Steak is better quality than Chipotle(Chipotle’s steak is tough). I prefer the chicken though: good grilled flavor, juicy. I don’t order the burritos in their gigantic burrito form. These are miracle grow burritos. They are freaks of nature and you can’t fit them in your mouth. Why would you want to shove something so large in your mouth anyway? That’s rhetorical… I’m not expecting any answers… Get the burritos naked in the bowl and you can always get a tortilla on the side. Mexican gumbo is all the burrito fixings(rice, beans, meat) with tortilla soup on top. Pretty good and filling. Standouts: the 3 cheese queso is delicious. Has softened bits of red pepper in it. The stuff is ridiculous and addictive. Whatever size bowl you get you will eat the whole thing so watch out! The chips have lime flavor to them and are crispy and good. And you can always add the queso to your burrito. Screw it… just avoid the queso before you start a bad habit. I’ve seen plenty of Q Doba queso junkies. Ugly… Finally, I LOVE their chocolate chip cookies. If you have kids there’s a good toy store next door(Toys Unique).

Not too very different from Chipotle but they do a good job of things, quick and clean. I’ll be back once in a while when I pass by them.

Great for lunch. It’s pretty much exactly like Chipotle, so if that’s what you like then you’ll love Qdoba. GREAT Salsa for the Chips and Salsa though. Fast service, even during heavy lunch/dinner take out traffic and I never have a problem with seating.

Qdoba has all the weaknesses of both Chipotle and Freebirds, with none of the strengths. Blah-rito.

Tasty food. Good bang for the buck This place is very popular with the HP Scots, so expect a lot of high schoolers if you go at lunch time. I took 30 kids there once though(chaperoning a dance), and we got through the line really quickly, so even if it looks crowded you should not have to wait long. The burritos are a lot like Chipotle’s, but the salads are actually quite a bit better. The atmosphere is a bit less stark than Chipotle but more corporate than Freebirds.

Reliable good food. If you have been to Chipotle, you get the idea of Qdoba’s set up. Although I would say this is a step up from Chipotle and a major step up from Taco Cabana/Taco Bueno. Good queso that does not solidify within two minutes. Menu is pretty basic although they try to change things up by bringing in a little something unique. If you are in the mood for quick and affordable tex-mex burrito/bowl, hit up Qdoba.
