I stumbled upon this great nursery as I was driving by on my way to Urban Acres this past weekend. They offer a great selection of plants, fruit trees, veggies, herbs, and gardening tools & decorations. I browsed for a while before selecting a small peppermint vine and a fig tree. As we are currently renting a home(and hope to buy one of our own in a year or so), I wanted to make sure it would be happy in a container for that amount of time. They said yes, but it would need a larger pot. So, they repotted it for me for free! They moved the fig tree into a larger container, filled with organic potting soil and added mulch to the top, before giving it a good drink of water and wrapping the base in plastic(so it wouldn’t leak in my vehicle during transportation). I will definitely be back!

The location is great, pricing is reasonable especially considering it’s a start up boutique nursery. The people are super friendly however their product knowledge is way off and normally you can look at plant tags but most of them don’t have any. I recommend shopping here to support a local start up however bring a smart phone and use that versus a passionate enthusiasts(not experts).

Where was this place when I first moved to Dallas? Organic needs, composting, native plants, concrete slurry pots, tons of herbs, fruits, and veggies, and a friendly owner passionate about her work. Top notch in my book.
