Their service is usually a little slow, but the food is so great. It’s always interesting to see what the battling burgers of the week are. The Cowboy Cobb is one of my all time favorite salads– definitely not a girly salad at all!

It’s a toss up between the chupacabra and salted sow in my opinion. Damn good burgers and a popping social atmosphere. I really enjoy this place.

I drove here from my hotel late one night(they are open until 1 am!) and it was still crowded around 10 pm. They had all different types of hamburgers on their menu’s…but I went with a special order, build your own. They made if perfectly!!! Great hamburger… great toppings. I also had an order of fries and they were top notch and there were tons of them. Lastly, tried their salted Carmel milkshake and it was wonderfully thick and flavorful. One review I read complained about the price… but my hamburger was only $ 9 and for $ 9 it was great. They had other things on the menu that I would have loved to have tried… but I can only eat so much.

By far the best burger I’ve had! The Mother blues was an explosion of flavored. The tray service is right on key with the décor and feel of the establishment. The Wait staff was very attentive to myself and all others I could see.

One of my favorite places to grab a burger in town. Every time I come i have a fantastic experience. They allow dogs on the patio, plus they’ve got multiple fire pits around the tables. A great place to come hang and eat with friends. Prices are reasonable, but on the higher end. $ 8 – 10 per burger & $ 3 for a side of fries + $ 5 for a drink — you’re looking at a 20 $ lunch /dinner. The service is fast and friendly. Menu selection is primarily burgers with like 3 salads, so if you’re interested in eating here — you’re having a burger. They do offer qunioa and chicken burgers as well, so there are options. I recommend checking this place out if you’re in the mood for burgers!

This restaurant is right across the street from the Doubletree –very convenient! The vibe was fun — I ate alone and enjoyed the atmosphere. Very quick service too. They have have an amazing selection of beer and even some nightly beer specials. It was a hard decision, but I went with the Mike Rawlings burger — with whiskey cheese, candied bacon and blackberry compote with whole grain mustard. Need I say more? Their hand cut fries were addicting! For dessert I tried the goat balls — small fried donut holes filled with a little cheese.
I thought the price was very reasonable — had a beer, burger, fries, and dessert for less than $ 25.

Never heard of this place. Went with some friends that wanted to try it. It’s an interesting place. Décor is kind of creepy, with lots of pictures of goats wearing human clothes. The burgers sounded good by their description but we’re nothing exciting. I had the Mike Rawlings burger and it just tastes like a Fudrucker’s burger. The fries weren’t really anything to write home about either. Very boring. Price is pretty high as well. All in all, overpriced, unoriginal and creepy. That’s about it.

Came back again tonight for the first anniversary party– the Sow burger was fantastic! A great combination or beef, Italian sausage, and prosciutto!!! Wow– knock my socks off! Salty, but incredibly delicious combination of flavors too(I added grilled onions on mine). You can never go wrong with grilled onions on anything! To me the sow burger was the best one on the table. Other burgers at the table: Mike Rawlings and the Chupacabra. I previously have had the Olivia darling and Chaca Oaxaca. The sow burger and Chaca Oaxaca are pretty much neck and neck– their flavor profiles on the burger are spot on. Always share fries with someone other wise it’s too much food. The beer selection here is great! Local craft beers, domestics, liquor– you name it they have it. Disclaimer: I am dairy free, I nix cheese on everything and make it known to the server I’m dairy free. Each time I come here(3 visits now) I get a stomach ache. I do not come here often due to that fact, but I do love the burgers and concepts here.

I’d been told about this place several times, and I finally had a chance to go. There’s a pretty vast list of burgers that is updated regularly, and they have a cool vs. feature, where they put two burgers head to head and each order counts as a vote. I had the Terlingua, which is brisket chili, fritos, havarti, VERY garlicky aioli, and onion. While I opted for the lettuce bun(read: one single slice of bibb lettuce), the burger itself was very, very good. The fries are separate, but worth it. Whatever seasoning is on them, it’s worth it, and dipped in the aioli were event better. The salted caramel milkshake was pretty good, albeit in a styrofoam cup. There was not much caramel or pretzel, as advertised, but then again, it was a last minute decision and not really why I went there. It can get really crowded — I went early, and then by the time I was done, close to 7pm, people were pouring in the door and there was a wait. It’s worth a visit if you’re in the area.

This review should have been done really. I came here with coworkers after work one day to celebrate ones birthday. I’ve been coming here every since. The staff is aways great without a doubt. It is considered a sports bar and grill and it doesn’t disappoints. It’s a very comfortable atmosphere and you can sit anywhere you like. It’s outdoor seating on the patio and tables in the back if you would like but plenty of seats. It can get busy and being patient sometimes is a must because you don’t have a choice. The waitresses/waiters are always friendly and they continue to ask if you need anything. The food: I wish I was the type that ordered and tried different things but I’m not. I only tried maybe 2 other types of burgers but the Hot Basturd is the one for me.(Like I married it). I will order the half order of the cheese fries surprise and the Hot with a Dr. Pepper. I have to say even though I order the same thing every time it never disappoints. They do have a nice bar area and the coworkers/friends seem to enjoy it. One loves the orange frozen drink with moon shine if I’m not mistaken. She says it’s really good. Try Rodeo Goat for yourself and you will write a nice review too.

This place is amazing! The food is great. Dad had the Chaca Oxoxa and said the burger is a 10 out of 10. I subbed the chicken burger on the sugar burger! This is yummy! It’s not too sweet either! Peaches, onions, candied bacon and a berry chutney! Yum! The cheese fries are 100% amazing also. Our server was fantastic also!!! She checked on us multiple times! Good times here!

I honestly don’t understand the hype… I’ve been here a couple times. Dallas location and Ft. Worth location. My pictures look better than how the food taste. The service lacks. Their burgers are alright. My food came out seperately fries first, 10 minutes later my burger comes out. Meh, I won’t be back.

Top burger joint in Dallas that does well to stand out in a burger obsessed city. I been here on multiple occasions and their food has stayed consistently great among those visits. The Oaxaca burger is worth the try but I’m a simple guy that appreciates simplicity, so a bacon cheese burger is great. The patio is dog friendly and staff were very welcoming to my dog, they were actually pretty attentive to him bringing him bowls of water and treats. Pro tip: avoid the loaded fries it’s a rookie move: my friend and I ordered them our first time here and it curved our appetite. I finished ½ my burger and my friends was only able to get two bites into her burger.

I hate burgers! I honestly do, I maybe eat them 3x a year and it is usually the only decent option available so not something I actually wanted. A friend of mine moved to town and asked me where the best burger was so I asked around. Every person almost unanimously said Rodeo Goat. So like a true Unilocaler — I checked out the reviews and pictures. The menu would have seemed gross to me a few years ago — so many items that I could not even imagine how the flavors go together but let me tell you … They do. Peaches on a burger? Jam? Goat cheese? All of these things can happen at Rodeo Goat. My friend and I went late on a Wednesday night and only the bar area was busy. Very casual seating and a nice outdoor patio. I tried the sugar burger — oh my good-NESS! This is heaven on a bun. The bun is more like a delicious portal for the amazing flavors to be transported to your tongue. Some buns over power the burger but this one is the mom holding everyone else in the family together. This burger features grilled peaches, caramel iced onions and it is one of the best melt in your mouth experiences ever. Add some cheese to make it even better. Highly recommend Rodeo Goat! I’ll challenge you to the string game — loser buys?

Quick summary: interesting burger selection, fun vibe, I recommend it for a change in scenery but it won’t be my regular burger joint. Details: I came here with a group of 8 on a Saturday night and we were easily able to find seats at one of the large tables they have. They have plenty of seating so I don’t imagine there ever being a wait here. They also have a decent sized parking lot out front so parking shouldn’t be a problem either. Our waitress was super sweet and personable. Her upbeat personality matched the fun vibe inside. I really enjoy themed restaurants like this. They have a fun game inside where you try to swing a ring that’s on a string(unintentional rhyme) onto a hook. The burgers here are pretty unique so be sure to look over the menu before you come(especially if you’re not adventurous). When I read the menu, none of the burgers appealed to me so I reluctantly ordered the sugar burger(without bacon). It surprisingly turned out to be good! The grilled peaches on the burger were interesting, but added a nice sweetness that I never thought I would want in a burger. I also tried the loaded chili cheese fries. They are as incredibly delicious as they are unhealthy! Even though my burger was good, I don’t see myself coming here very often because I prefer more traditional burgers. That’s not anything against Rodeo goat; just a reflection on my personal preference. However just because I won’t be crowning Rodeo Goat the best burger spot in Dallas, doesn’t mean you won’t have a good experience here. Give it a shot if you want to try something different.

I don’t understand how this place is so popular. The food is underwhelming, and considering the price, I was disappointed. First of all, when our waitress took our order, she did not ask how we wanted the burgers cooked. This is by design. Our server, Sarah, was amazing. She checked on us often and kept our drinks full. She is also knowledgeable about the menu and quick with good suggestions. The Brewer and I had the Mike Rawlings and the Hot Bastard. The Hot Bastard is indeed spicy, which is good, and the taste was good, but the meat patty itself was small. A third of the bun had no meat under it. At that price, the meat patty should have been larger. The Mike Rawlings was the only burger option with mustard. It also comes with bacon, and a blueberry spread. It tasted good, but again, a small meat patty with lots of left-over bun for $ 10.75. Both burgers came out well-done, which is not our preference. We also had the $ 3 fries, which were half burnt up and inedible. What we did eat was good though. Basically, the food at Rodeo Goat is OK, but the small portions are too much money. I am also not a fan of the shared seating. This restaurant is too fancy for it, and it came off feeling really false at this location. Like the owner used to swindle cowpokes at the state fair with his«slow» goat, I left with the impression that his Rodeo Goat continues to bamboozle clientele.

Rodeo Goat is a casual and fun place to go for burgers and beer. The menu is simple, but full of good choices. They had so many unique ideas for burger toppings. I had a very hard time deciding what to order because everything sounded so good. I decided to split the«Brad Sham» burger– which was a burger topped with applewood smoked bacon, tomato, jalapenos, fried onions, cheddar cheese and bbq sauce. It was excellent! The burger was perfectly cooked and the toppings added great flavor. Our table split the«Loaded Fries with a Surprise» as our side. These were just okay for me, but I ate them just the same(of course). I took a couple stars off of my rating because the service was not good. Our table of six was at this restaurant for at least two hours and we saw our server maybe three or four times. In addition, when she did come to our table, she didn’t really give us time to ask for water refills or anything like that. She also only brought about half of the things we asked for, even though we kindly reminded her more than once. The restaurant wasn’t busy, so I’m not sure what the issue was. Hopefully, my experience was isolated and it’s not usually like that– because the burgers are super delicious and it seems like a fun place to hang out!

I really enjoyed my experience here tonight. A few of my co-workers and I decided to grab dinner after work, and decided to try out Rodeo Goat after the amazing reviews on Unilocal. Our waitress was extremely friendly and attentive. My drink was always refilled and she gave us plenty of time to look at the menu without rushing. While the menu was extensive and had plenty of options, I wanted an all America burger with bacon, cheddar and a fried egg. I went for the build your own option and told our waitress I wanted it cooked medium. My burger was perfect and delicious. The portions are HUGE and the fries were delicious. My only complaint was that the egg was cooked well done and the yolk was hard. But the flavor of the burger more than made up for it. I would eat here again, hands down. Plenty of parking. Great location. Delicious food. Winner winner burger dinner.
