Roma’s Pizza & Restaurant

This place is always amazing!!! Tortellini Alfredo is to die for, as well as the tomato bisque! You really can’t go wrong with anything here! They deliver too which is always a plus in my book.

If you hungry and you have rough stomach and you don’t have any Choices then you can eat to this restaurant.

Ate in the restaurant and the ambience was nice, decoration was appropriate, and service was pretty decent. Server could have been a bit more attentive considering how slow business was, there were only 4 other people in the restaurant, and that’s the only reason I’m taking off a star. Otherwise, the food was excellent.

Worst experience at a restaurant.
I work as a server at Outback Steakhouse and know how to give proper service and I understand other servers when they are busy… service tends to be slower. but this wasn’t the case.
I went in with my boyfriend Sunday afternoon to celebrate his birthday.
As we walk in no one greeted us. A few minutes in a man walks up and asks if it will be two of us today and I say yes and that we prefer a booth, but that if there isn’t one available we could wait. He looks annoyed and proceeds to move a girl from the closest booth which we later find out to be one of the bartenders.
He asks us what we would like to drink and proceeds to go get our drinks.
He comes back about 5+ minutes later with our drinks which I should add are waters with lemon not bar drinks. At this point we are ready to order but before I can get a word out he walks away and says nothing. He returns about 10 – 15 minutes later to ask if we were ready!
I was about ready to just leave but my boyfriend was very hungry and diabetic so he needed to get something to eat pretty soon so we decided to stay.
When he comes by to take out order he doesn’t even apologize for the long wait and doesn’t bother to write down our order.
He leaves and comes back maybe 7ish minutes later to ask about my boyfriends order. he asks if he orders a pizza calzone and a fettuccine Alfredo pasta .he repays yes and the man leaves. We were very hungry at this point so he finally brings out my side Caesar salad and sets it down without a word.
We happily eat it and finally out order comes out. Food was simply okay. Not worth going back to.
I had a shrimp a la diabolo and didn’t like it so I ended up eating half of my boyfriends pasta which was slightly better but still not. Good
He finally brings out our check and we leave never to look back.
As a server when I get good service I give a good tip 20%+ but honestly this service and dinning experience deserved none. I ended up leaving him 15% just because I’m not a terrible person but seriously wasn’t worth that.
Save your time and money and go elsewhere .
All of the staff was in a similar mood as our server.

Not a lot of flavor. Everything was so disappointing. Barelyyyyy any sauce on the spaghetti and the noodles were so thick. Missing chicken on the other pasta dish. Would definitely not order from this place again.

Family friendly, neighborhood Italian restaurant. Great big outdoor patio is our favorite. Free rolls are hot and tasty with great tomato dipping sauce or butter. I like their pizza, shrimp fra diavolo, chicken cacciatore, and lasagna. Very good prices. Friendly staff. Easy in and out. Almost never crowded.

Roma’s.
Positives: It’s close. The house wine is $ 4.5 during Happy hour. The fried calamari is not bad.
The Tour of Italy was also ok.
The not so good. The Shrimp Pizza just wasn’t very good. The cheese the crust non of it tasted like good pizza.
This is the kind of place I’d probably eat at if I worked across the street and didn’t have much time to go elsewhere for lunch.

Please don’t spend your money in this place, bad service and horrible food! You can clearly tell that the sauces are not made fresh and made from scratch as they claim in their menu, you can actually taste some can flavor in the marinara… The Alfredo sauce is thickened with a roux instead of just cream and cheese so that just a cheap way of making it but still charge you as if it was made fresh and the true way of make it, and our waiter never pass by to see if we needed help, we had to actually wait a lot of time to get our check because the waiter was seating presently having lunch, just a bad experience !

Food ok, service not so much. Could be because it was Valentines night but still. Our waiter went missing in action for a while. Probably not coming back anytime soon.

This was THE WORST restaurant delivery experience I have ever had. I wish I could give zero stars.
I ordered food to be delivered to my apartment. After about 30 minutes the delivery guy calls me asking for directions. No big deal, it’s a big apartment complex, I understand it can be hard to find my apartment. I ask where he is, he tells me he’s «here» so I give him directions from the entrance, he says ok and we hang up.
10 minutes later he calls back and asks me to text him my address… I ask where he is so I can give him directions, he says he’s «here» again. First of all, I shouldn’t have to text you my address, you should know where you’re going before you leave the restaurant, and bring the freaking address with you. Second of all, don’t tell me you’re here if you’re still 20 minutes away.
Another 10 minutes. He calls again. Lost still. Turns out, instead of going to XXX Forest Ln apt 000, he went to 000 Forest Ln. I mean, come on now. You’re a delivery driver. You must understand how addresses work.
So we got the address straightened out. Another 10 minutes went by. Now we’re getting upset because it’s been an hour since we ordered our food so we know it’s going to be cold. We call the store and ask to talk to the manager.
I’ve never heard anyone in customer service, much less a manager, be so rude before. He said that the food won’t be cold because they made it fresh… Yeah an hour ago!
We ask for a refund (which, apparently, is the biggest mistake you can make at this restaurant) and he starts yelling saying that he doesn’t give refunds. We ask if they will remake it so it will be hot and we will come pick it up. He says if we come into his restaurant he will call the police!!!
At this point, we’re hungry and we’re willing to just accept the cold food the delivery guy is still trying to figure out how to deliver, so we call the driver back and he says the manager told him to come back to the store because the order was canceled. Nobody told us!
So we call the store again asking for our money back since we prepaid for the food which he told his driver not to deliver. He refused again.
Luckily, I ordered through Eat24 so I was able to contact them and they got me a refund.
I can’t comment on the quality/​taste of the food since I never received it, but even if they had the best food in the world, I would never give them my money.
And just to clarify, I have had food delivered to this apartment dozens of times and never had a problem, so it’s not like I live out in the middle of nowhere and finding me is a needle in a haystack situation.
So please, save yourself the frustration and possibly the stolen money and avoid this place at all costs. Hopefully all these bad reviews will make this asshole open his eyes and realize that people won’t put up with his bullshit; they’ll take their money somewhere else and put him out of business.

I was hoping that this would be a neighborhood gem and that I’d be able to write a glowing review after all the terrible ones. Unfortunately this place was sadly very disappointing. The garlic rolls were extremely dry and didn’t have a hint of garlic on them. I ordered the manicotti… it looked warm on the outside however was cold on the inside. The cheese tasted as if it had gone bad. My husband’s dish was awful. The chicken carbonara lacked flavor, the meat was less than a child size portion, was not thoroughly cooked and lacked flavor. The service was awful as well; they barely attended to us, the manager didn’t apologize for my dish being cold and didn’t like that we had a Unilocal appetizer coupon and didn’t except it!

Delivery people do not know how to find you. When the delivery guy lost his car WHAT? Yea that is one I have not heard before. They did not even offer a discount we order from them all the time. I am so not happy they will be losing my business. So sad I loved the pizza 2 hours to get my pizza.

I’ve driven by Roma’s more than a hundred times since I moved to Dallas but never really noticed it tucked into a low area off Greenville Avenue. We had a group dinner here and was pleasantly surprised. We were on the patio which is a really neat atmosphere. Prices were very reasonable and my dinner was pretty tasty. I ordered the spicy chicken pasta dish and it really hit the spot, especially for $ 9.99. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their meals as well. I removed a star for service because our service was very slow and lackluster. It wasn’t until it was time to collect the checks that our waiter seemed interested in being on top of his game. Twice we had to send someone in to get a waiter to come out and help us. I was never offered a refill on my water nor asked if I wanted a dessert or anything else before receiving my check. Overall, decent Italian food at a reasonable price with a nice patio for larger groups.

Although the place looks a little shady from the road, this is some of the best Italian food in Dallas. Spend a little extra and get one of the specialty dinners. I’m not a fan of their house wines, so get your wine elsewhere. This place serves great pizza, too!

Hi, so I’m going to make it simple. Order took one and a half hours to deliver. The pizza and the wings were cold… I asked for a refund, they refused. They also refused to at least get us a hot pizza and wings, never mind a refund.
Really, for a pizza place this has to be the worst experience ever.
For the owners, you’re in an extremely competitive industry, there were about 30 pizza places within the same 2 miles we could have ordered from. Everyone will have a cold pizza once in a while, customer service is the ONLY differentiation you have, and you failed miserably.

One of my go-​to places for Italian food, especially for dinner because they are rarely slammed then. Excellent food, from the garlic bread rolls to the pizza and spaghetti.

I ordered pizza, garlic bread and tiramisu (made the order for delivery via GrubHub). The food arrived within 30 minutes, that is 30 minutes earlier than the suggested time. Everything was excellent especially the tiramisu… I should’ve ordered two or three of those! Lol. I feel extremely fat and happy right now, thx to the good peeps of Roma’s Pizza.

Good food but delivery was bad. The guy handed me the red bag and said he forgot the drinks in the car. Then when he came back he asked why I didn’t take everything out and as I started he just watched and didn’t even help. Then when I gave him the bag he stood there like he wanted a tip and I told him it was already on their when I ordered. He just walked away. Lame-​O

Staff doesn’t know menu; ordered side Greek salad with vinaigrette she doesn’t know what that was. Asked her what the house dressing was she described it as like the tomato based sauce she brought to do rolls. I stressed you don’t have a vinaigrette she brought me oil and vinegar…
The linguini worth shrimp and white wine clam sauce was linguine with a half dozen shrimp topped with clam bits in a bowl of white wine clam (juice) soup. Seriously I thought I was brought a bowl of soup.
Sat and waited for check for nearly 20 minutes when done. I’m not likely to give this place a second chance. Next time I’ll go to Maggiano’s @ North Park
There’s a reason this place was mostly empty, never see the parking lot with more than a couple of cars.

My office has been ordering takeout & delivery from Roma’s for years now. I would give the food 3 or 4 stars, but today we had the most ridiculous, UN-​customer friendly delivery experience from them YET.
Beware all, if you place separate delivery orders all going to a SINGLE place, not only will it be the a relatively unprofessional, bumpy affair to sort out, but additionally, you will STILL BE CHARGED a $ 2 delivery fee PER ORDER & «Jimmy» doesn’t care what you think about that, or how it effects his delivery employees as a result of the recipient’s surprise.
