As a designer in the fashion industry, living in both NYC & Milan, I have had the pleasure to work with top hairstylists from all over the globe. Thankfully, Scott Risk brings the same world class level artistry to hair in Dallas! He made my hair look just like a supermodel’s — effortless, healthy and full of movement!

Scott Risk totally knew how to deal with my long curly hair. He was trained in the Ouidad curly hair cutting method in New York, and my hair looks fantastic. I was not planning on getting my hair colored, but after our consultation Scott Risk and I decided that he could remove the brassiness and customize a color that complements my skin tone much better. Now that we are done I see it totally highlighted my blue eyes as well!!! I’m super happy with his cut and color and highly recommend him!!!

Had a great experience at Scott Risk salon! I have very fine hair, and had been looking for a new hairdresser ever since I moved to Dallas from Nevada just over 2 years ago. A friend referred me to Scott, and I let him have carte blanche with my hair, as long as he didn’t cut it short.
Wow, I am so glad I let him work his creative genius on my hair! It was lank and lifeless, and in dire need of a cut, and now it has movement and more volume and looks great!

Scott was my mom’s hair stylist in Oklahoma, he had moved here recently. My mom knew that I was having trouble finding a good stylist so for Christmas she paid for me to get my hair done by him. I went in for a consultation and made an appointment. I am so glad that she did. He spent a lot of time getting my hair just the right color and cut. He is very meticulous about everything he does. I was in search of someone who could give me a decent haircut, I was terrified to let anyone touch my hair because it is so long and I loved the length… I have had horrible experiences with other hairstylist who did not listen to one thing I said. ANYWAYS long story short, I came across Scott on Unilocal and read the amazing reviews… Wasn’t sure if they were serious so I decided to give him a shot and I was BEYOND satisfied with the outcome. Scott is an AMAZING hairstylist, knows exactly what he is doing, takes pride in his work, takes his time in making everything perfect. Not only did he leave my hair looking great, he left it FEELING great. I would definitely recommend him to anyone and everyone!

I went in for a consultation with Scott Risk the night before my cut and
color, appointment. He spent an incredible amount of time with me answering
any and all my questions. I was very nervous since was going from a dark
brown/​black hair color to an ash blonde. With all the nightmare stories you
hear I was really scared about what might happen to my hair, but Scotts
patience and how knowledgeable he was really made me feel comfortable. I had
talked to several stylists before him not one of them had even come close to
making me feel as comfortable and confident about the process and realistic
outcomes I could expect. I knew my chances were slim on achieving my goal
hair color with such a dramatic change but after he was done I have to say
he exceeded my expectations, all while keeping my hair healthy and soft. Scott
is the best I have ever worked with and I highly recommend him!

Scott Risk is the best! I have never touched my hair when it comes to color. I was very nervous but was ready for something different with my hair. I researched for weeks to make sure I didn’t regret my decision. I have curly black hair and was looking to add blonde. Scott was very helpful prior to my appointment date. I sent him pictures of the looks I was thinking about and he provided feedback based on his expertise. When I arrived for the big day he was very personable. I felt I was getting re acquainted with an old friend. The process was a little lengthy but totally worth it. He took his time to make sure the outcome was just what I wanted. It was reassuring to have someone who took there time and was a perfectionist working on my hair, it looked great. I loved it! I have received so many compliments. I can’t wait for my next appointment!

I recently had my hair cut and balayaged by Scott. I have NEVER been blown away by a hairstylist’s work before, but he changed that. He is such a perfectionist and settles for nothing less than excellence. He was so thorough in making sure that every single layer and highlight blended just perfectly. He is BY FAR the best hairstylist that I’ve found in Austin. The quality and care you get from Scott is worth every penny.

I have finally found THE ONE! You can tell he’s not from around here, this is Hollywood hair. I have had hair extensions a few times before but I never knew they could look like this.
