Due to a mini-health drama/crisis, I was inside the Methodist hospital near downtown Dallas and hadn’t eaten since the night before. It was 1 pm and time to eat. I want to the cafeteria there and inside of it they had a Subway. Didn’t really think about the Subway at first until I picked up a pre-made salad that the cafeteria was selling. A woman who was way more in the know about the place than I was said not to buy the pre-made, but get a fresh salad from Subway. Salad from Subway? I’d never done it before, but I’m SO glad I did it that day. I got a healthy share of spinach with all sorts of good veggies and chicken breast on top. The whole thing topped off with sweet onion dressing. OMG! The salad was fantastic! I was totally satisfied and full after eating it. My only complaint was that the lady drowned my salad with dressing, but otherwisely, one of the best darn salads I’ve had, especially considering the price(about $ 5.75) and the fact that it was about $.50 more expensive than the premade for something fresh, tasty and filling made it even more appealing. Just an FYI if you’re in Methodist and need lunch.
