Taco Cabana

I won’t ever go back there. I ordered chips and queso after a person order a huge order and then drinks got it served before I even sat down and I still after 7 minutes couldn’t even get my chips and queso I ask for money back and got it the manager offered it free to me but I refused to take the food because I’m sure the employees would have stuck their thumbs up their butt before they served it to me

Ok its Xmas eve… girlfriend wants mexican… website says open till 7 PM, arrive 6:42 pm says cell phone… Sorry we are closed, what… sign is lit, people inside. I park go inside… Sorry we are close. U r not supposed to close until 7Pm, No we are closed… Happy New Year to u all of u who r going to lose ur jobs… don’t know who I am, I am not sorry my company is losing revenue because of you… good luck for the NEW YEAR!!!

My first impression is that this place is clean clean clean! I want to remark on it, it so clean!
The guy who took my order was super welcoming and calm.
There must be free wi-​fi here. There’s people on their computers working!
The best feature about this location is there seems to be some homeless people in here, keeping warm, getting work done and eating. I think that is a very generous act on behalf of the management. I support it!
I’ll buy some extra tacos!

Very rude I really wish people new good customer service the words thank you and please are just dead it’s sad sorry jasmine at the window your a very rude person if you don’t like you job find a new place to work it’s that simple I work hard for the money I spend I expect to get treated with respect as a valued customer not ok what did you say ugh ok your total will be at the window pull up to that front parking spot… waiting hopefully it’s right!

Pretty good food. Had the steak fajitas. Salsas available self serve. Apple Fanta was really good. Great service. Did an online survey for free dessert.

I almost can’t pass this place with out at least grabbing some Tacos — any tacos. They always have a salsa of the month that’s is pretty creative. I try them all. It’s like a prize lol great fajita meat not to tuff!!!

Not much bad I can say about Cabana. The fajita anything is on point! Steak chicken you name it. I never get just ground beef when I come here but my husband loves the tacos! I get the street tacos tho ;) the unlimited salsa bar is great! The wait time lets you know everrrrything is fresh! You can also stand by the counter and watch them prepare every! The customer service folks are a bit… «Hood» lol or «ghetto» hahaha but the service is great. You can also get a beer if dinning in doors. This location ill ways seemed slower then the others to me but it’s always worth the wait!

I absolutely LOVE Taco Cabana’s! But this is the worst one over ever visited! Scary looking people hanging out inside, food took forever to arrive, when it came out, it was carried by the guy who I watched clean out the trash cans then immediately handled my plates. 5 homeless people sitting inside with all of their belongings on the floor under the tables. I’ll def be back to a taco cabana, just not this one. Needs a surprise health inspection! Lol

I like the fajitas from there. Inexpensive and the flavor on them is OK. They cut them long ways which make them tougher to chew. You must cut across the grain. FYI. The guacamole is not made in house which annoys me. Plus it tastes terrible. That’s like the signature condiment for fajitas in my book and they skimp out on it. Just give me an avocado and I’ll make it. I like hanging out here for a decent inexpensive meal. Hey $ 1.50 happy hour? Can’t beat that for a cheap buzz. My sister loves that.
The breakfast tacos for a $ 1? Not a bad deal in my book. I’ve never had the flautas. The barbacoa is clean and tasty and that’s our Sunday morning splurge. My son’s vice in the eggs Mexicana minus the Pico.

Something is certainly up with this location. I have gone to other Taco Cabanas and they always have better service than this one. One tip is to go during the day, you get way better service. The night crew is aweful and apathetic. I think they are drunk on their own margaritas! Every single time we go at night our order is wrong. The last time we went all 3 of our orders are wrong. I tell them the order is wrong and they are just apathetic about it, they don’t care. My advice, go during the day or find another one to go to. Sad thing is, the food is good, just the service sucks.

This place is better than Taco Bueno when you want Tex-​Mex fast food. It’s pretty decent, although not upscale by any means. I like the fact that you can get a cold brew to go with your food. I like the tacos in particular. Prices are very reasonable.

The re done the inside to look like a restaurant instead of fast food, it’s a good look but sort of awkward having people in the drive thru stare at me.
Before they re done it, it was dirty.
But now that they have it’s clean all the time and the food is great.
The taco salad or even the taquitos are nice an crisp an reminds me of salads I got on school campus.

Pro: remodeled and clean. One of the nicest TC I’ve been too.
Con: not the best neighborhood

I would like to say the store is nice, clean the service was O. K I love the Brisket Tacos but I don’t like the fact that they are expensive and they only give you a spoonful. There is way more tortilla then beef! I would love to bring back that commercial where’s the beef and yell it out loud. The chips tasted a lot better this time around they didn’t taste 1 month old and rancid. Taco Cabana could be a whole lot better if they would change a few things

They have completely redone this place. Kind of makes you feel like your in a restaurant instead of a fast food joint. In general love the food… can you eat anyplace in Dallas for $ 7.50? Had 5 tacos @ 2 drinks for less then $ 8 :) However… they tend to not want to serve me. It happened the last 3 times I went in there & needless to say I won’t be going back to this location. I’ll try a gay friendly location next time
