Yummmm, some of the best tamales ever!!! They make them with banana leaf(I think) instead of the corn husks! They have pork and chicken flavors for their tamales. Menudo is delicious too! Only served on weekends, sold out pretty early. I haven’t tried their Pozole yet but I want to so baddd!!!

Below average for Dallas, not that Dallas has decent Mexican food. Don’t believe the reviews below: lies!

Love the enchiladas verdes. Based on reviews, I’m coming back for the burger and carne asada tacos. Plus, the staff couldn’t be friendlier!

Tried this place out for the first time and this place by far has my vote for best taco in town! Try al pastor with the refried beans and you will not regret it! I never even liked refried beans but this place is making me a fan. Can’t wait to go back and try their breakfast tacos!

I didnt know where to go for tacos this time around. so I referred to Unilocal.since I had tacos from a few local chain locations. idk what’s all the hype and what these people are talking about. but as soon I received my food I was underwhelmed especially for the price. kind of left me hungry for more food.

Had the gorditas. Fresh, flavorful. I devoured it. Rice was light and not soggy or greasy. Beans were delicious too. Had a mango mexican soda. Huzzled that down in 3 sips. Definitely would come back.

Great salsas! We’re vegetarian and they notified us the beans are cooked with chorizo. Love the honesty! They even subbed a side salad for the beans.

Great gorditas and traditional fare but that burger keeps me coming back: house ground meat, beans, cheese, avocado. Wow. A family business that I am happy to support. Handmade food and friendly service.

Most importantly, the tacos are delicious. The restaurant is small but quaint and clean. The woman running the place(not sure if she’s the owner) is friendly and attentive. She even apologized for her English, which was unnecessary because I understood everything she said. Overall, this place is great. The kind of business I want to support — local, quality, friendly. She’s been around for a year; let’s keep this place in business!

As residents of Oak Cliff that came from San Antonio, we have been so disappointed about the quality of Mexican food in OC. So, I’m was relieved to finally find an authentic, fresh place close to home. The food is simple with only really a handful of menu items and a daily special. That being said, they do everything very well. They serve the best beans and rice I’ve had in a restaurant in a long time. This is one of those places that I find myself coming back to over and over again… this is the perfect comfort food.

Damned fine salsa, AMAZING tacos, and super friendly staff. Their meat is really high quality and seasoned to the point of perfection. We ordered tacos: chicken, barbacoa, and fajita-style beef. The chicken was juicy and delicious. The barbacoa was tender and flavorful. The beef was cooked to perfection. The experience can only be described as a meatgasm. The prices are so low for such high quality food. I felt like I was getting away with something. Eat here. You will leave with post-sex afterglow and possibly meat sweats.

I’ve been to a lot of taco joints around town and this is one of the best ones in Dallas! Their menu isn’t all they have, they also serve breakfast and on certain days have different caldos. The tacos are fresh and aren’t full of grease. The staff is friendly and quick to take your order. Very good quality food for a decent price.

Authentic tacos and tortes. I loved the open air kitchen so I could watch the cooking. They use fresh ingredients and spices. I will definitely be going back.

Tragically overpriced for the quality. The place is very clean, and the staff is nice, but I felt like I should have paid 50% less.

The food was great and the service was excellent! Definitely authentic Mexican food and made to order. Went there yesterday and had the Fajita tacos with rice and beans and my brother got the Tacoqueta burger that comes with 2 patties(he requested only one patty this burger is loaded!) he said it was excellent burger. Came with ham, retried beans, and loaded with avocado and fresh veggies. Strongly recommend for both of our meals including drink was under $ 20. Very clean environment and the ladies cooking and serving are so accommodating made me feel at home. Cons: no alcohol

Tacos tacos everywhere! In Oak Cliff we have a taco joint for every day of the month. So you start to have a refined plate for the subtleties of every part of the taco meal; from the sauce, meat, tortilla type, beans, etc. This taco place has a few thing dialed in and one of those is the carne asada. I had the al pastor my fav and was not too impressed. But I stole my son’s carne asada taco and found out what to order next time. The beans were great too and the selection of sauce is really good. And with its convenient location for me, friendly service and the cleanest tacoria I’ve ever seen,(I would have been ok eating my tacos strait off the counter) I’ll be back to try other dishes. And they check you out on and iPad.
