Ok soOoOoOo… this place had a lot of potential! Its in a great area with a cool crowd, good DJ, drinks tasted good and they were decently priced. I love the neon signs above the bars inside and outside on the patio. The couches were a nice touch to the outside area. I was having a good time until I needed to use the restroom. I think everyone can agree that is an essential human need. So there are two unisex restrooms.
Bathroom 1:
— No toilet SEAT
— No toilet paper (or even paper towels)
— No hot water… no lukewarm; just ice cold
— Broken lock on the door
Bathroom 2:
— No toilet paper or paper towels
— No hot water. Only ice cold
Bathroom 1 & 2 were equally disgusting. The effort placed towards everything else really does need to carry over to such an important but obviously overlooked area!
We ended up leaving and going to a bar across the street (Quarter Bar) to use the bathroom and ended up staying there for more drinks. I know I shouldn’t expect much for most bar bathrooms but I WAS expecting more! On top of that, it was pretty early into the night m, around 9pm, for the bathroom to be that much of disaster already. When someone who worked at TDB was made aware of the lack of toilet paper all he said was «idk, I just work here». Uh hello! That’s exactly why you were made aware of the problem!
I don’t live in Dallas so who knows the next time I’ll end up here. I’m hoping to be able to update this review one day and credit this mess to a really wild day party or something.

TBD was popping for NYE 2015!!! My friends and I had dinner at Del Frisco and we just happened to stumble on this wonderful place after dinner because we didn’t know where else to go that didn’t charge a ridiculous amount of cover. TBD didn’t charge a cover (YAY!!!) the DJ they had that night was awesome!!! He played music from 90’s and early 2000’s, the kind I grew up listening to as a kid. Everybody was having a good time and everybody was a tad bit too much drunk! place had an outside patio also so it could be big with three different rooms but the rooms are small.

I’ve been here a couple of times and I always have a great time. Nice to have a new bar/​club spot in town and a little off from the main McKinney St. crowd. Kind of a Miami vibe with the indoor/​outdoor space. Fun time and good crowd!

Let me start off by saying what a terrible dining experience. A 10 person group was celebrating a birthday dinner and found this restaurant had lots of availability for a Saturday night. When we arrived at the restaurant for our 7:30 reservation it was completely empty and we ended up being the only diners the entire evening! Nobody else came in to eat as this should have been a sign. After receiving a nice gesture of a birthday shot from the manager, we were seated and ordered 3 appetizer boards of meat, cheese, hummus, etc. The appetizers were actually good, but it goes down hill from there. After the entire party arrived and we began to order our entrees we were first told that 3 of the entrees were unavailable from the already limited entrée selection. When the food came out it was cold. Not just one persons, but the majority of the table had cold food! Cold flatbreads, cold chicken, everything cold. To make it worse 2 people didn’t get their food until AFTER everyone was done eating. The chicken entrée was overly salty, and came with a side of literally 3 brussels sprouts. This place is not restaurant it is a bar, that for some reason is trying to serve food. Also with a table of 10 people the waitress needed additional help in refilling drinks and taking additional drink orders, but for some reason nobody helped her. We saw 6 employees just behind the bar doing absolutely nothing. When we shouted over for someone to come over and refill our drinks and we were ignored. Additional guests that came in to join our party for just drinks had to go to the bar to order them. We did speak to the manager about our unacceptable dining experience making it very clear our extreme disappointment, although he was gracious he did not immediately comp anything from our bills. We received our checks with the full amount and refused to pay it, the manager eventually comped some of the meals. The manager did apologize and asked if we would come back for brunch, we declined

AMAZING food. Kind of blew my mind. My first visit here was to check out the club scene around midnight, so when I went back for dinner I wasn’t expecting anything fancy. I was delightfully wrong. We had a large group, so I sampled a lot: The TBD Board, Lobster Mac ‘n Cheese, Tuna Tartare, Steak Bruschetta, Grilled Cheese w/​Tomato Soup. Every item had a unique flair & was spot on. Even the medium rare steak was cooked to melt in your mouth. I can’t pick a favorite… I want them all again :)
