Lots of TVs. Food is good with decent sized portions. Did I mention $ 2 draft beer($ 2.50 bottles) M-Th? Overall good value, comfortable atmosphere with a friendly wait staff.

The meat was horrible no flavor. Every sauce was on the side. This place is nothing like a philly cheese steak. The friend pickles were better than the subs. Bread was soggy. My girlfriend and I will not be going back.

I ordered the South Philly Cheesesteak(cheese whiz) to go: piping hot, messy, leaky(got some on my lap in the car) and pretty darn tasty. The free chips/salsa are über-lame and not worth the calories or the mouth experience: I should have gone for the waffle fries offered by the cashier. Look for daily specials: $ 5 for a 6″ that you can customize to be just like one of their specialty sandwiches is a bargain.

I guess I had high expectations, or I got the wrong thing. I got the regular cheese steak and fries. It was $ 9 and not worth it at all. The«meat» was dry and ground up. The cheese, well, I tasted none at all. I won’t be coming here again and would never recommend it even in desperation!

This is the second time they have messed up my to go order. I even double checked with the person taking my order to make sure she had it down right. It’s stuff like this that makes me not want to go back again…

First time going here, the only real reason I went here was because Fred’s was to far but next time I will make that trip to Richardson, TX but I say try & make your own decision about the place you may like it just didn’t do it for me.

Well, I expect it would be pretty hard to find a decent Philly-cheese steak sandwich in Texas, but if you open a chain, and put the item in your brand’s name, I have to admit my expectations were pretty built up. The staff very attentive, and pleasant. The location by the Beltline is ample with lots of tables and sitting. My main point is the food itself. The Philly cheese steak sandwiches were lacking in flavor, and the beef employed was pretty chewier and full of nerve endings. Prices are reasonable. Seriously, for a nice phylli sandwich, I am still getting mine from Gyno’s(check my other reviews)

I couldn’t wait to try this place as I had heard so many great things. I was sadly disappointed, not with the service or the atmosphere, BUT the food. The place has a fun energy when you first walk in, very laid back. They have a nice and helpful staff and the prices are average for a cheesesteak. The breakdown of the food: The bun is too much like a hot dog bun and is saturated in grease before you even open your sandwich. The meat is fine, but no special taste or extra tender… The cheese gives it a different flavor than the typical provolone… which isn’t per say bad… just different. The onion pieces are huge. I got the Founder’s special an was disappointed the jalapenos were ser4ved on the side rather than cooked with the meat. The mushrooms were fine, no complaints. The salsa ranch is a nice, flavorful dip, but if you must DUNK your cheese steak, it’s not the best cheese steak. Overall, the sandwich is too greasy(which I know as a cheese steak lover is somewhat normal) but I don’t want a chewy, sat for days taste. I want something fresh off the grill with maybe a crisp bun/roll. This place is not a place for me and I wouldn’t go back, but there are plenty that do like it.

I was so happy once they put this in down the road from my apartment. We come here pretty often during football season on Sundays because they have cheap beer(under $ 3 a bottle) and good food. They also have a lot of TVs so if you’re into fantasy football, you can catch every game. They also do not allow smoking which is a huge plus considering that they’re located in Addison. Occasionally we’ll place an order for pickup and they have always got it right and are very quick in getting it ready.

Horrible food!!! Just not a fan… People seem to love this place, but I’ve never gotten into it. I’ve been a few times and every single time they over cook the meat! The meat is supposed to be a nice med rare, maybe medium at most! It tasted like I was biting into beef jerky! If they fix that, then they will have great food!

Interesting place! I tried the buffalo chicken cheese steak, was pretty good. My order was out in 2 – 3 minutes. Came with chips & salsa. Variety of cheese steaks, hamburgers, fries, salads, and fried pickles to choose from. Service was very good! Attentive, but not overwhelming. I saw one of the servers stop by a table & refill the soda even though it’s self-serve soda. Nice touch! Only gripe, the amount of salsa served with the chips is a very small serving. BTW, the salsa tasted like Pace. I’ll be back to try a different sandwich.

Great cheese steak with mustard sauce. This is a great cheese steak place. They have a great mustard sauce and Chipotle ranch to spice up you sandwich. The fries are crispy and delicious. The meat is still lacking flavor though, I keep having this problem with cheese steaks in the DFW area. Grrrr! THis place also doubles as a HH spot with tvs and beer specials.

Pros: Excellent Service, quality ingredients Cons: Not the best Philly you’ll ever have. Unless you don’t get out much. Then yeah, you may celebrate it. As an avid fan of comedic insincerity, Bill Murray will always rank as one of my favorite actors of any generation. I’m reminded of this as I curse Punxsutawney Phil’s recent prediction of six more weeks of winter weather. While silly to analyze, I believe the primary lessons from Murray’s flick Groundhog Day is that we get our lesson until we learn it, and that consistency can produce greatness. I believe consistent excellence is mandatory in a weekday lunch oasis. Who wants surprises during that hideously brief reprieve from work responsibility? Texadelphia has mastered the art of providing consistent value. Ive visited the joint numerous times, and each visit has been the same. I walk through the door and immediately begin evaluating my sammich design. Chicken or beef? Do I want queso or bleu cheese? Avocado? A Cuban/Philly hybrid? Am I content with always crisp tortilla chips, or do I want to sub out for warm waffle fries for $ 1 more? I’ll continue to evaluate as I walk to the register until I have neck strain from reviewing the menu board above. The counter girl, always smiling, will remind me for possibly the 28th time there is a menu on the counter much easier to read. She’ll confirm my selection in a friendly manner, never in a generic repetitive tone. My selection will be delivered to my table by another friendly fella, requesting confirmation that all was prepped to my specification. I won’t have to go back to the counter for extra salsa, or ranch, or a freakin’ fork, because all condiments and utensils are accounted for at a serving station near the soda fountain. The quality will be consistent as well. Warm and fresh, with ingredients added at the correct time as to avoid a mushy meal. So for achieving consistent excellence, I’m putting 4 stars up. It’s not the best Philly I’ve ever had, but they do what they do extremely well. Happy Groundhog Day, bitches!

I usually get to go during lunch from this Texadelphia. TWICE now(including today) I’ve ordered the Texican, which comes with a side of queso to pour on top, and get back to the office only to discover NO queso in my to go bag!!! It’s beyond aggravating. If you eat in, you obviously won’t have this problem, but if you get anything to go check your order carefully. Unstaple the sack and do some investigating before leaving the store! The queso really, really makes this sandwich awesome and it’s so disappointing when they forget to put it in. The cheesesteaks are great, though. I’ll be back, but doubt that I’ll get it to go ever again. :(

It was a cold, rainy night and I wanted to grab something quick. Of course I wanted something hot like a soup or a hot sandwich and I was debating which place to go to. Because I’ve never tried Texadelphia and I’ve tried the other places, I decided to order here. YUM!!! I was definitely pleased by my sandwich — the South Philly with cheddar cheese(instead of the Cheese Whiz). The only complaint I have is a big complaint.. .one that irkes me so much when restaurants do this to you. When I was ordering with the girl at the cashier, she asked me if I wanted fries or chips/salsa…Just for the heck of it I asked if there’s an extra cost for either one because restaurants do like to charge you for things and not tell you. Fries would cost me an extra buck. I don’t get why people ASK if I want one thing or another, especially when you’re comparing apples to oranges, not apples to apples. If the chips/salsa and the fries were both free… sure, ask me if I want one or the other. If the fries are gonna cost me extra, ask if I’d like to get fries instead for a dollar more. I don’t like it when things like that are misleading. Also, she charged us extra to substitute the cheese… didn’t even tell us there was a charge to substitute, but darnit, maybe I should have asked… but c’mon.do you really gotta charge to substitute one cheese for another? Goodness gracious! We’ll see if I decide to make a second visit.

Hey! I told you I was going back and I did today! This time I had the Founder’s Favorite… basically a Cheesesteak with grilled onions, jalapenos, and a mustard blend sauce. I had a large with the queso on the side. This thing was huge… and tons of moist & juicy beef! This was better than I’d expected. There was so much beef in this thing I had to get a to-go bag. Once again, the staff was awesome, friendly and fun. As long as the sandwiches are coming out like this, I’m a big fan. I may try the«The Left Coast» again one day… but I’m loving the FF! It’s on my lunch list, and anytime I’m in the area, I’ll be stopping by. Oh yeah, one more bonus… free Wifi.

Went here for the first time for lunch today, and I must say, they make a very, very fine cheesesteak. I got the Texican, a cheesesteak with tons of jalapenos and queso on the side that you can pour on top. I was expecting the jalapenos to not be very spicy, but they pleasantly packed a punch. Bunch of flavor and everything was great until the last bite. They also have a standard of chips and salsa on the side and those were good, just wish they’d give you more salsa. Only reason I wouldn’t give them five stars is because my order took almost 20 minutes and I was the last one to receive it in our party of eight. That, and they’re a smidge pricier than I’d like.

Pretty good cheese-steaks, a lot of interesting combinations. I don’t have any illusions of finding a cheese-steak in Texas that tastes as good as Geno’s cheese-steaks in Philly but these are pretty good. Their tortilla chips are good and I really liked their salsa. Their queso is OK, not something I would really crave for. I couldn’t really tell what type of cheese they used in the queso but didn’t seem like what you see in most mexican restaurants.
