Holy smokes! Great pizza and free unlimited beer and the game is on. Heaven? Yes, I said free beer.

Food is AWESOME, really nice staff. However food is overpriced, I’ll pay for good food though. Eat in the restaurant if you want the full experience. Wings and pizza are great.

The owner Brian is usually here and he’s awesome. The staff is very friendly and personable. The interior décor reminds me of a college bar in a college town, which is a perfect environment for having college flashbacks to go along with the FREEBEER flowing from the keg in the fridge while you wait for your order. For those prohibitionists, FREECOKE, SPRITE, FANTAORANGE or ROOTBEER awaits you. The pizza isn’t typical NY copycat pizza nor is it a bad imitation of a coal brick oven pizza place. It’s rather unique in the area and I dig it. The pineapple is fresh pineapple versus the canned shit every other place tosses on your pizza. If the pepperoni were fresh cut, it would be oh so amaZeAballs. Other things on the menu are good, including the wings and the cheesy bread. Sure you can get the same crap at Domino’s for a few bucks less but why not support a local business and enjoy free beverages while you wait for your food or to-go order.

I love the pizza here. Regular crust and thin crust are good. I haven’t tried their deep dish(didn’t even know they had any). Also, I’m a pepperoni with black olives type of person so those are mainly the type of pizzas I’ve gotten, BUT I’ve also tried others(because my friends unfortunately do not have the same tastes as me) and have never been disappointed. To the left after you enter are free sodas and free beer on tap. They redrew the soda labels so those are neat to check out. Their wings are also good. I’d recommend getting the lemon pepper wings. Customer Service: always on point and friendly. Delivery: They’ve always come at a reasonable time given they’re short-staffed(I think 2 people?) and have even come when the weather has been horrific. I’m willing to wait about 40 – 60 min for my pizza(especially with horrible weather) and they’ve always come within that time frame. Good, ol’ reliable Pizza Guy. Currently my go-to pizza place. :D

Let me start off by saying, I typically am not a pizza fan, BUT this place has awesome pizza! It’s the ONLY pizza that I’ll eat. Think crust double pepperoni is the bomb.

I have lived in Dallas for two weeks and I have eaten pizza guy three times! I love the wings. They are as good as you would get from a wing joint such as Pluckers. The pizza is really good as well. Every time I call in, I hear a pleasant person on the other end. This is my go-to pizza place now. I haven’t dined it but I have absolutely no complaints about their delivery skills. Love you, Pizza Guy.

I almost started off trying to relate the downfall of ISIS to consuming massive quantities of The Pizza Guy’s pizza. Like, if we could somehow get this stuff in their hands, they’d have less time and energy and motivation to plot horrible things. And, we could poison it and kill them all. ‘Mericka, bitches! But then I thought, «that’s the stupidest thing you’ve ever came up with.» Then I remembered a time when I thought it would be a good idea to put a frozen pizza in a 375 degree oven with the cardboard piece that comes with it(true story). It was actually at my friend’s house, and that was the second time we almost burned it down due to idiocy. Luckily, I don’t do frozen pizza any more, because, why? The Pizza Guy is my favorite take out pizza joint, and it’s not even close. In fact, it’s so good, that I don’t feel the need to ever«try a new place» when I’m the mood for pizza and not getting off my couch. Boy, when the video of my life gets shown to the people of Heaven when I arrive, there’s going to be hours and hours and hours of me sitting on the couch watching TV and eating pizza. I can already see the audience’s faces, yawning, checking their watch, looking at Twitter, and God reminding them all, «we got an eternity to fill, people, what else are we going to do?» So here’s The Pizza Guy experience… I use their iPhone app for ordering, which looks like a stock app that independent pizza joints can brand and customize for their business. That’s not a knock; it’s really easy to use. I put in my order, usually a large, thin crust with lots of meat and a sprinkling of veggies. I get an email that says about what time my pizza and stuff will be ready. I get in my car and drive the 10 minutes to the place(I believe they’d deliver, but I need any excuse I can find to get my ass out of the house). The inside of the place is pretty unspectacular, but unique. A couple of tables, a small porch, a TV that’s running obscure sports like soccer and college football, a counter for interacting with employees, a fridge with a bazallion«skate boarding» style stickers, and a heavy 1970s vibe. I always feel like I’m stepping into some alternate universe, like I’ve left modern society and the new age design of everything being way too intentionally«old-timey,» you know with the whole beard culture crap, and I’ve entered a place with, at the very least, personality, which seems to be disappearing from the modern day restaurant/human experience. The girl I almost always interact with is quiet, like me, but friendly and accommodating if something got screwed up. And I always seem to walk out of there with more than I intended too, even if it’s a free drink. I’m pretty sure I could have a free beer if I wanted, but I don’t drink(mine’s not a high horse). This place isn’t the cheapest, it’s on the pricey side, but it’s head and shoulders better than the garbage chains that liter the landscape. So the next time you’re thinking, «I want some pizza, but not diarrhea that I always get from [insert big pizza chain here],» go here instead. If you don’t like it, then you should probably get checked to make sure you’re not a robot. Thanks for reading.

my friend and i stopped by here late one night when we were wanting pizza… and it’s become our favorite pizza place ever since. service is always super friendly(and they give us random discounts from time to time!) and the pizza is always on point. we’ve had their regular cheese, sausage/mushroom, and BBQ chicken, all of which are amazing. the only downside is that it’s a little pricey for what you get, but hey… it’s so good that i order from them on a weekly basis. as another reviewer said, why order pizza hut when pizza guy is right next door?

Best pizza I’ve ever had and the customer service is great! Recently moved here from Houston and I discovered this place. I literally ordered takeout every night my first week in Dallas. Plus, FREEBEER! Just ordered the Pizza Guy Favorite for the first time too… Oh wow.

This is a pretty good place to eat pizza! It’s a bit hidden, hard to see it unless you’re looking for it. No flashing lights or anything to draw your attention in. The Best thing about this place: free soft drinks and beer! I know The free drinks are factored into the price of the pizza, but psychologically, you think it’s free! The crust is pretty damn good. There’s just enough sauce, cheese, etc. to make the whole thing good. I’ve not had anything else so, so can’t comment on the rest of the menu, but there is plenty to choose from. It took a right at 15 minutes, give or take a minute or two, for us to get the pizza, which we dined in for. For those who may or have complained about the delivery, the time I was there, there appeared to be two delivery drivers and they were constantly busy in and out. So if you factor in that it takes 15 – 20 minutes to make the pizza, another 10 – 15 minutes or so to deliver, you’re looking at at least 30 minutes, Give or take. As soon as one delivery person would come in, they would grab some pizza and be out the door. The place is busy, but most of the people in and out were takeout orders. It is located in a strip mall in far North Dallas, on North Preston, a few blocks north of Campbell Road/McCallum on the east side. It’s not very large and probably could seat 16 – 17 people are so comfortably. I will go back to this place again and it is worth trying at least once, if you haven’t tried it before! The staff working there was fairly nice and cordial. Also, great 70s and 80s music playing in the background. If you’re 35-ish and over, you’ll enjoy the atmosphere.

I’m so glad they put a flyer on my door! I have been living in Plano for 6 months and just now discovered The Pizza Guy. Holy hell this is some seriously good pizza! There were so many were different delivery deals I didn’t really know how to choose. I will say the delivery was very fast, they were here in less than 30 minutes. The second I opened the pizza box I for real started salivating and was happy when I discovered it tasted as good as it looked. The original crust is the perfect consistency, not too soft but not too hard and they definitely don’t skimp on the cheese. I’m kinda wishing I had gone with one of the specialty pizzas but I guess there is always next time :)

I used to love pizza loaded with every meat and cheese on the planet but it’s just too much for me now. Here the veggie pizza comes without cheese so I don’t feel like such an old woman’s bloomers ordering it. I love Pizza Guy’s Hawaiian pizza too — it has cheese but so much pineapple(I ask them to load it up!)) that it’s like a nice fruit and cheese plate. Delish!

I used to eat Pizza Guy ALL the time. Everyone at work loved when I came in with a pizza box to share cuz they knew it was pizza guy. I’d go pick up pizza and speak to the guy up front, heavy New York accent, very friendly. I asked him where they got the cheese they use I their pies because THAT’S what made their pizza. NO one else in town had that flavor! He said they flew in the cheese from a place in New York City. The ranch you got for wings was handmade with fresh herbs and creamy delicious. The crust was homemade. You could tell it had been left to raise and then hand tossed to perfection. Well… Rest In Peace Pizza Guy. Cuz this abomination calling themselves Pizza Guy is NOT the Pizza Guy that deserves the award for best pizza in Dallas. I ordered my favorite specialty pizza, the spinach Alfredo. I’ve dreamed of the day I’d move back in Pizza Guy’s delivery area and I could order this again. It had tons of Alfredo sauce and that magical mozzarella from NYC… with the perfect amount of cooked spinach. What I got tonight was what seemed like a previously frozen crust tossed in the oven with a few sprinkles of cheese and I honestly don’t know if there was any Alfredo sauce even on it. I could hardly see the anything but spinach when I opened the box. So. Much. Raw. Spinach. Roommate opens his pizza… same crappy previously frozen crust… burnt to a crisp. Tasteless sauce. None of that magical New York cheese. Just sprinkles of what may our may not have been cheese. And the greasiest pepperoni in Dallas. Wow. I don’t know what happened… It was inedible. I called and got some young girl answering the phone. I asked if ownership had changed in the last three years since I last ordered from there. She said yes. I told her of the awful pizza. She got me a manager. He comes to the phone and he sounds no older than her. They were all very nice and listened to my concerns but even tho he gave me partial credit for this very expensive pizza I just bought… I don’t even want to try it again. I know I’ll be disappointed.

Ordered delivery and was quoted 50 – 60 minutes. It arrived within that time frame. The salad was a good salad and not just iceberg. There was a decent mix of carrots, sun dried tomatoes, olives, purple cabbage, red onions, green bell peppers, and feta. The pizza could have been better though. Even though the order arrived in the delivery window it was cold. I ordered a medium pepperoni with extra pepperoni and cheese and it didn’t seem like there was extra anything. There were 8 average slices which along with the salad was just enough for my mom and I. If anybody with an appetite was sharing a medium it would not be enough. Overall decent enough but not worth ordering again.

Holy crap on a cracker, that’s some good pizza. The pizza crust has the perfect thickness, the sauce has a good flavor but isn’t overwhelming, and the toppings are plentiful but not over powering. Overall, DELICIOUS. We also got some cheese bread stuff and holy crap was that good. I think we ate half of it in the car on the way home. Then, of course, we decided to try the crazy sticks. DOITDOITDOIT. Screw the calories, just do it. So amazing. Honey and powdered sugar and chocolate? And they tasted a bit like funnel cake. Will I be back? Sadly for my arteries, yes I will. We ordered to go since we are just down the street and would likely do that again next time. They don’t seem to have AC inside, but they do have a super powerful fan to cool you off if you sit in there. I also dig the psychedelic feel and the comic book pages that cover the walls. Good times!

Well I haven’t actually received my pizza yet. Although considering its been almost two hours since I ordered I highly doubt it will be hot and therefore probably not that tasty.

Ordered: Medium thin, Half jerk chicken, Half pepperoni and sausage The Pizza: Pepperoni and sausage: one of the best tasting Pizzas I’ve had, the sausage was big chunks and there was plentiful meat, the sausage was a little over powering but great overall Jerk Chicken: it didn’t really taste like jerk chicken but it was still a good flavor, I would order it again, it was layered with little junks of chicken and the seasoning great overall Customer service: Amazing and super friendly Price: The pizza came out to $ 16 which is a little more pricey then I like for a 12 inch pizza Overall: Great pizza for an okay price. I would go back and maybe not go with so many options that bumped my price up
