Amazing tortas food is spicy so not for the weak of tongue.

This place has some pretty good food. The tacos and gorditas are pretty tasty. I’m fairly certain everything come a la carte so you’ll need to order what you want. Most everything comes with vegetables, but it’s all priced individually. I’ll come back for the tacos and gorditas, but the torta(cuban) isn’t really my cup of tea.

This place is good not as fantastic as some of the reviews but over all good. The prices are great. Had lunch for less then $ 5.00. And had some left over. Got a chicken quesadilla. Used my homemade ranch to dip it in made it even better. Give it a try. Worth it for the money.

So I got to the place and I was really confused on where I was at. There are two entrances one for dine in and another for to go. It was first time ordering there so I ask the cashier which was very confusing cause I guess she didn’t know English as much and so I go is this the quesadilla place and I don’t know she was confused. And keep in mind I was really confused on where and how and what I was at. So I’m just like ok I guess chicken quesadilla and the service was fast only think was the entrances. But other than that the food was really delicious. The red sauce that came with it was extra spicy and hot and made the quesadilla that much better. 4 ½ stars.

YESYESYES this place has my favorite tacos in the area. I tried all if not most of the places around here and they aren’t the cleanest, but this place is great. There food service is fast and fresh. I always order the lengua tacos. They are authentic and the meat just melts in your mouth. I prefer the orange sauce, but beware it is incredibly spicy!

Flavorful and cheap, and right next to my workplace! I ordered a torta for about $ 7 and what I got was HUGE. Big enough to last me three meals! The chicken was well-flavored with many different spices and seasonings. Many flavors that I was not familiar with, which was a pleasant surprise for me. Most importantly, it was delicious. I could barely put the thing down, but my stomach couldn’t handle anymore food. The staff were pretty friendly with me and were well-versed in English and Spanish. If you are ordering to-go, there is a side door for you to enter in. Do make note that it is very hot in there, and I had to wait about 20 minutes for my order. I went back to work looking like I just took a shower. Next time I’ll probably call in my order.

Cheap and good food. The inside is hot and uncomfortable, not a date spot. But for takeout, dollar for dollar the best Mexican in DFW. Had tacos al pastor and chicken quesadilla.

I come here during work on my lunch break since it’s pretty close to my job. Food is very reasonably priced for the good flavor it has. I always order to go and there’s a young lady there named Veronica who’s very nice and very cute. So I don’t mind stopping by once a week or so. Good food, good prices.

The past 3 «cheat days» we’ve had we have gone to this place to get their quesadillas. These really remind me of Mexico City quesadillas, the tortillas are nice and soft but with a crispy texture that is just right. My husband and I got the pastor and my sister got the tinga, delicious! Their chicharron gorditas are also amazing:) I’m still not a big fan of the tortas, we tried to give it a second chance, we tried the DF one and the bread was too dry and not soft enough. Nothing especial about them. Servers are still awesome, they now have English menus(I don’t care, I speak spanish, but just an FYI). The manager’s social skills are still lacking, but I can deal with it for that quesadilla ;)

Food was Good I got the grilled steak. It came out quick. The only thing is you will be batting away fly’s from your food.

There are alot of authentic Mexican restaurants in Dallas. Heck, Dallas is full of Mexican immigrants. What lots of gringos don’t appreciate is that Mexican food is at least as regional as American food. Many of the restaurants I have been to on Dallas are run by people from the north of Mexico with food that is typical to their region. This is one of the first places I’ve been in Dallas with authentic Mexico City street food.(Note: street food and definitely not the high cuisine if the region.) I really like the torta toluca. Something about milanesa and chorizo together just makes sense. Kind of like Forest Gump and Jenny. They let you choose your chile and I think that chipotle works better than jalapeño for this sandwich, but you’re entitled to your own opinion.

So incredibly filling, flavorful and delicious! The choices of meats are chicken in different spices and flavor, beef and pork. They are generous with the meats in the fishes I have ordered thus far. I love that the bistek on the gorditas are finely chopped and full of spices! The quesadillas are hot and melting with white cheese and your choice of meat. Note: there is a right side entrance where you can order your dishes to go. THISPLACEISGOOD!!!

This is our first visit here. I’d give it 4 ½ Stars because the place isn’t perfect. But the food is great and the prices are awesome. This place really needs to serve drinks. A Margarita would’ve matched perfectly with our order. I had the Quesadilla al Pastor. Don’t expect the traditional Texas Mex Quesadilla! This is good stuff. My wife ordered the Alambre Insurgente. She loved it. The place is a bit ugly and the owner or manager creates a tense atmosphere. Other than that, this place is great.

I’ve eaten here twice, now. Both times were very good. I’ve had the beef tacos, Super Torta Texana, and the chicken tinga gordita. All very good. There’s no sides, so order enough for your meal. Service is good, and very friendly. Will definitely be coming back!

Awesome place! I love how this place is so unassuming from the outside but the moment you look at the menu you think to yourself, «Yay! I made a good decision for lunch! I don’t suck at life!» And immediately pat yourself on the back. I came here with a friend and for some reason was surprised that it was a sit down restaurant; I thought it would be more of a grab and go seat yourself. The menu is simple: tortas, quesadillas, sopes, gorditas, alambres and tacos mostly. I ordered two tacos al pastor and one suadero(the meat between the belly and the leg of a cow). Each taco I think was about 1.25 to 1.65ish. Very simple but very delcious. My friend’s gordita looked pretty tasty too. I loved the chilled salsas they serve with the food. The green one is more creamy, the red is spicer.

The Tinga Chicken is incredible inside a homemade corn/flour tortilla… It is awesome! You might want to have a taco el Pastor or two as well to wash it down… I’ve tried almost the entire menu and I have walked away disappointed… Don’t be discouraged, it’s a must try. The staff is extremely friendly.

I finally have a DF style taqueria(torteria). The huaraches are a tad thin; as the beans are placed on top rather than in the center. This makes it difficult to cut. They get extra points for using masa azul however. The quesadilla eschews tons of Oaxaca for filling. The mushrooms in the quesadilla were perfectly cooked… Neither greasy nor over salted. It could have used more epazote however. The no pales on the huaraches were also well cooked and not over salted. I will make this a weekly thing moving forward.

Russ and I dined here for lunch today, and sampled the tacos. I had suadero, lengua, and tripa, and he had pork, and all were solid, ordinary tacos. Atmosphere here was loud and festival-like, with loud mex-juke music bouncing off all the hard surfaces that comprise the interior space. Next time I’m in the ‘hood by the Walmart there and hungry, I will pop in for more. Not worthy of a special trip, this neighborhood joint should become an institution in the ‘hood, with a good formula for what and where it is.

What a great place. Truly a diamond in the rough. It’s a bit difficult to find this place, but once you do, I am sure you will go back. The food is fast, cheap, and authentic. The wait staff is very pleasant and helpful.
