*star rating — 5* Let me tell you why I gave this place a negative 5 rating and why I’m cackling with glee about it’s closing. Minus 1 star for the burned chicken fingers they served me on visit #1 Minus another star for the chicken fingers they brought back out after I sent the burnt ones back. Those were burned too. Minus yet another star for the bitchy manager who came out to give me a gift certificate for the amount of my meal and explain why she couldn’t give me a cash refund.(I only paid as we were at a co-workers birthday lunch and we had to settle so everyone could get back to work). Minus 1 star for the bar-back that grabbed my ass on visit #2 Minus 1 more star for the idiot bar manager I complained to. After telling him about my molestation and pointing out the perv-atrator, the manager said — and this is a direct quote: «he’s Mexican and Mexicans like blondes.» I am so happy this place has closed. Good riddance.

And now I will have to move this review somewhere else because TWOROWSHASALSOCLOSED! *waves bye* Thanks Grumpy for the info… you’re the man in the know! Okay…I have to move my review of the Two Rows food served in the Point to this location because they closed the Point yesterday. I have no idea why Two Rows has closed the Point, I was hanging out with a friend who got a call from one of the bartenders saying«they’re yanking the games out and shutting the place down.» Hmmmm… Sooooo…I had the Cuban Pork Sandwich, which was marked as being new to the menu. It was the best sandwich in Dallas(noting that Crescent City closed and you can no longer get their famous muffalutta). The sandwich was full of juicy chunks of flavorful pulled pork, ham, cheese and pickles with a spicy mayo. You have a choice of sides ranging from fries, home-made sweet potato chips to pasta salad. They also have great pizza’s and Monday is half-price night. The chicken-Alfredo one is super. Pasta dishes are good. Tex-Mex is ho-hum. The Double-Stacked Quesadilla is insane in both taste and artery hardening attributes! Service is usually spot on and I love that they have a micro-brewery…oh wait, they yanked that out too. I guess they brew up north and drive it down to the Greenville location now.

This place is consistently good. They have tons of options on the menu which is great for a big group. Their house beers are amazing, and check for weekly specials because they are a great deal. This place is great for people of any age. I really like the bowtie pasta & of course the honey pepper bacon chicken sandwich. Both are soo good… I crave them!

The place was pretty slow on a Tuesday night. I had an Amber Ale which had a really good flavor. The«heart healthy» spinach salad with goat cheese, black beans, light balsamic, and chicken was delicious. The service size was perfect with just the right amount of goat cheese, not too little and not too over powering. The chicken was cooked just right. The bartender forced a little small talk since I was on my own, but it wasn’t that awkward. I even purchased a souvenir pint!

Ah, breweries, how I love thee. With your on-site alcohol production and wide-screen TVs. So Two Rows is definitely like Humperdink’s twin brother. The two places are super-similar, and right down the street from each other. That said, I’m in the same vein as the other reviews-it’s a pretty safe bet. Not super-fantastic, but always good. And as I’ve admitted before, I’m partial to the sports bar vibe. My friends and I can always count on Two Rows to watch a Sunday afternoon game. The food isn’t anything majorly special, but it’s tasty, and there are a million and one options, so there’s surely something for even the pickiest person, including multiple salads, soups and what they call their«fit for life» healthy options. Also, almost everything comes with a honey blonde beer muffin and maple butter. Yum. Bonus points for the homemade beer. It’s good stuff. They also have some pretty awesome specials. Multiple happy hours as well as pizza night, steak night, tex-mex night, etc. When you’re stumped about where to eat, Two Rows offers a safe and easy compromise. It won’t disappoint.

This place can get pretty crowded, but that’s because they have some great deals! The food is not excellent, but it’s okay, and when pizza is half-price(Monday), I don’t complain. They used to have a $ 1 pint night on Wednesdays, but I don’t know if that’s still going on. Happy Hour is a good deal at $ 2/pint, but their beers have a slight banana taste, which is not my favorite.

Clay pretty much nailed it — Two Rows is a safe bet, but not usually a place you crave. That said, their house beers are pretty good, and their pizzas are too. I once bought a keg of their Hefe for a party, which was a huge success. It ran about the same price as a keg of shiner, but was much tastier. Watch for their weekly specials — they change it up quite a bit but at the moment they have buy one pizza, get the second at half price on Monday nights, and I *think* Tuesday nights are $ 1 beer nights. And M-F, their beer is all $ 2 a pint from 4p-7p. Those deals, combined with a must-see sporting event, make Two Rows a much more desireable location.

Two Rows is what I’d like to refer to as a «safe» place, meaning it’s pretty much a safe bet no matter what you require. It has flat screens, in store microbrews, high top tables, a long bar, a restaurant area, good food, and average prices. Honestly, there’s not too much that sets the restaurant apart from any other sports bar style establishment. The patio is nice, but there’s much better to be had elsewhere. The only really unique thing about this place is TR’s Point next door. It’s more of the«late night spot» than the actual restaurant. A huge, jagged bar greets you almost as soon as you walk in the door. To the left is are few Golden Tee games, a jukebox, and some booths to sit in. To your right is a foosball table and a few more booths. There’s a smallish nook upstairs with some dart boards, and that overlooks the rest of the bar. An interesting place to post up and people watch, if you’re so inclined. The service is pretty good, as is the selection of libations. The last time I went I felt a bit out of place. I’m 25, and I was by far the youngest person in the bar. The median age seemed to be 30+, so keep that in mind. Overall, it’s a good safe bet if you can’t think of somewhere else to go and you’re in close proximity.

They have one of the best burgers I’ve ever had: Cheddar & Honey Pepper Bacon Burger. Yummy! My comic book gang and I always enjoy it, on some nights they have half price pizza specials and $ 1 beers. Check it out. Make sure you know you are walking into a sports bar environment.
